We asked for a quote from My WIndow Solutions, got one that was quite good. We had explained the rationale for getting a replacement window (the leak). Parry sent over his crew right away to caulk around the existing one so we wouldn't get any incursion while waiting for the new one to arrive and get installed. Nice! For this job, I had also asked to have a custom window casing and deep windowsill built. We agreed that I'd buy the materials (a particular trim profile and hardwood species), prime them, and they'd do the cutting and installation. This collaboration worked perfectly.

This was a stellar experience from beginning to end!…read more We spoke with Amanda Rodriguez over two different visits and she could not have been friendlier or more knowledgeable. We had tons of questions and decisions about what best matched the original look of the windows from our 1939 house. We finally decided on what windows we wanted replaced and put down a deposit. A second team member came out weeks later to confirm the measurements. And some weeks after that, the installation team of Juan and Erik came out to do the install. (They even started by doing the measurements a third time to make sure everything was correct! And it was.) They had told us that the job might take the whole day, but they carefully removed the old ones, installed the new ones and cleaned up afterward in only about six hours. It was a flawless experience. Everyone we dealt with was extremely kind, warm and knowledgable. And the new windows look stunning - while still matching the look of the almost 90-year old home. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

The sliding door issue was that the Low-E coating was failing leaving visible streaks on the glass. The stationary door may have been broken by something projected from the gardener's mower or weed eater. Kenny thoroughly measured all our windows, offered recommendations based on their location, and went out of his way to provide price comparisons to help us decide. While choosing Meridian was slightly more expensive than going with a big-box store like Home Depot, the customer service and attention to detail were well worth the extra cost, especially given their proximity and willingness to guide us through the entire process. I'm confident the blinds' durability will be maintained, as Kenny is nearby and available to assist with any future needs.
