Olaf made my new custom window screen quick and with excellent quality! Great communication!! Thank you!!!

I found Resilience Glass through Yelp and was extremely pleased with the excellent customer service that Olaf provided. I needed a mirror for the back of a bathroom door. After setting an appointment Olaf came and measured the door and gave me a flat rate estimate that was very reasonable. We made an appointment for the following week for the installation. Olaf installed the mirror and it looks great! Everything went like clockwork! I'm so pleased with the end result!!! I recommend Olaf wholeheartedly. read more

Olaf was amazing. He showed up on time gave me an amazing quote and I felt very confident with his ability to take care of the problem. I live up on the fourth floor of a condo complex and was concerned that the installers would have to use special equipment. I was ensure that they could do this from the inside and it wouldn't cost me a small fortune.. On the day of the install, everything went well the installers that came by were extremely professional did a great job and did it in less time than what they had estimated very pleased with the service. Everyone should definitely get a quote before you go somewhere else. read more

Recently had our retractable screen replaced and very happy with the results. Thanks again Olaf!

Top notch service and quality! Olaf is a pleasure to work with because he enjoys what he does and takes pride in his work. He keeps his promises and makes me feel valued as a customer. When I was selling my house, Olaf installed a beautiful new modern glass shower door in my master bathroom, and then I hired him to tune up all of my sticky and challenging windows. He is reasonably priced and very reliable. I wholeheartedly recommend Olaf for your glass and window projects! read more

Submitted a project request through Yelp and Resilience Glass was one of four to respond and one of two that actually honored a scheduled time to visit, review and quote. The project included glass replacement in two fogged Milgard windows and a custom tub shower enclosure. I selected them based on their Yelp reviews, detailed proposal and competitive price. Olaf and his assistant are prompt, professional and skilled craftsmen. Excellent communication throughout. Highly recommend. read more

As someone who "Never" writes a review, I can tell you that the service I received from Olaf Karlsen of Resilience Glass, LLC, is worthy of my time to write this to all that are considering replacing windows in your home. Prior to my deep search for a Quality Window person in Santa Barbara, CA, I first stopped in to a well known shop on De La Vina. A shop I had used previously over the years. I got a quick quote for the work I needed and left sharing I'd call back to schedule the onsite review. I was in a bit of a hurry on this, as I had three windows blow out during the Wind Event that happened on Christmas Eve 2024. After calling back to tell the company that I had all of the openings prepared, they scheduled a visit for two days later. Then, I was told that the Mgr. had to approve the job and he was out all week. (I shared, he already quoted me, this was just to double check the measurements.) Well as a loyalist, I waited. I called back a few days later and the receptionist assured me she would call back. --- Didn't. Option number 2. I called another well known local company that had replaced my auto glass on more than one occasion. --- What do you know, same story, they have to come out to quote, even though I shared exactly what was needed. I wait again another day, the tech comes out, sees that my measurements and the application are as I shared and proceeded to again say that someone else has to provide the final quote. They never called back. (Even after I shared the story of the other company that didn't follow through.) And I was done chasing poor customer service. Option #3 - I call the next local company of the big 3 on Google and am told that one of my windows has to be an upgraded glass. (When it did not need to be - I've built plenty of homes and know that this was incorrect.) The sales reps said, it's only 10% more... Sorry, no sale. Option #4 - I look outside of the city and make a call to a Goleta operation. No upsell, but their price was more than I had been getting - even though the others weren't showing up. Finally, I find Resilience Glass. A quick email through the ResilenceGlass.com website and within minutes, I get a call back. I share my story with Olaf, including, as I had with the others, I just need the glass replaced, as I intend to install all new windows in my home later this year. (A good size sale upcoming to anyone really listening.) Olaf gave me a quote on the phone, and shared that he did not have to come out to the job site, seeing my photos and understanding my knowledge, was good for him. He provided me with a couple of different installation times and we locked down an appointment two days later, which was more convenient for me. With that, he arrived on-time and the windows were replaced as promised. And at a fair and honest price. Even if you feel, as I did before, that you're loyal to another local company, you owe it to yourself to call Resilience Glass... You are likely going to be very pleased you did. Next up, our Master Bathroom Shower Enclosure... And I'll be calling Olaf. read more

I needed help fixing my front window. So, I reached out to Olaf based on all the excellent reviews. He's awesome! He showed up right on time and is a super friendly guy. He fixed it very quickly and showed us how to carefully open it in the future, since it's a heavy glass. He also gave us a good discount for paying cash. Highly recommend! read more

Olaf took on a front door glass installation project for me. Great experience, convenient prompt and affordable. Highly recommended.

I needed to replace a broken window. Olaf responded right away (on a Friday night) and came the next morning. He gave me an exact quote ahead of time which I thought was a fair price. By noon, I had a beautiful new window pane installed. I would definitely recommend Olaf. read more

Excellent customer service! I reached out to Resilience and they got right back to me. Came up with a plan to make the repair at my house and followed through. Highly recommend Resilience Glass for mobile repair and quality service. Thank you! read more

Really happy with the price, speed, and quality of the repair of a broken window at our house. Would definitely use again in the future

The quality and service was excellent, promptly replaced my broken window. Would definitely work with him again!

Don't get me wrong, the work itself was great. You cannot tell that my window was ever broken and Olaf was as friendly as can be. I fully recommend him/ Resilience Glass for good quality work. The reason for less than 5 stars was due to punctuality and time management. Showed up 1.5 hours unannounced before the time we had agreed on for consultation. Once we agreed on a time later in the day for him to come back and do the job, he showed up an hour and 45 minutes after the agreed time due to his previous job running over time. I understand that unexpected delays happen, but it would have been nice to get an update, especially since I had to move appointments I had later in the day around. Once the job was done and I went to pay, I was told the cost would be $175, which was more than the $145 quote given to me on Yelp. However he did give me a small $10 discount for paying in cash, making the total come out to $165. But, I expected some type of accommodation, recognition, or at least the quote given on Yelp due to his tardiness and inconveniencing the rest of my day. I was extremely disappointed that there was never a mention of regret for being tardy by such a large amount of time. If I hadn't been in a rush to get to my appointments that had already been delayed, I might have stuck around and complained or haggled him down. Regardless, the work done was nice and good quality, and from previous reviews/ Olaf's own responses, it seems that he has been punctual to other jobs and values his punctuality to respect other clients' time. This may have just been a one-off event. In essence, what you should take away from this review is the good quality, efficient execution, and the fact that the window looks good as new. read more

I just had a new single glass shower door put in today. Olaf, from Resilience Glass did a wonderful job. He is knowledegable, professional, thorough, conscientious and friendly. He answered his phone, he got back to me when I had questions, he gave me a very fair price compared to the quotes from other glass companies. We just added a shower door to our master bathroom and replaced our old shower curtain. We absolutely love the work that olaf and his team did! Olaf stopped by for an initial estimate and was quick to turn that around. Once we gave the green light, it took about a week to get his team out here to install the door. They were quick and even showed up early! Would definitely use them again in the future :) read more

Olaf Karlsen and Resilience Glass are great! He replaced some original window glass in my vintage home, and they look authentic...only better, because they are now dual-paned and laminated. He also replaced non-authentic windows with new, authentic looking ones, and they match the other authentic ones perfectly. His prices are better, his workmanship is excellent, and the installation process was easy and efficient. Olaf is so good that I refer him to my clients, who have all been impressed and grateful for the introduction. Thanks again Olaf! read more

Last year we used Resilience Glass for shower doors and just recently to install several mirrors in our house including a huge 48x48" mirror in the dining room. The placement of each one is perfect! Olaf cleaned each mirror as well as the floor areas. He made 2 trips - once to assess the job and the second for installation. He was quick, careful, neat and the price was certainly reasonable.
