When we renovated our home in Montecito, JNL Glass installed the primary bath shower door and a transom panel, and repaired medicine cabinet mirrors and some damaged windowpanes. Their work was great. So, when we needed to replace some glass in two outdoor lighting fixtures, JNL was the obvious choice. They were outstanding with this relatively small job. Martha is such a pleasure to work with and was incredibly helpful in selecting the right style of glass. The guys in the back were also very accommodating. We were in a bit of a rush, and they came through on time with great work at a reasonable price. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone taking my order, which was for a small framed antique mirror replacement. Their price was 1/3 that of what I saw on Amazon for a custom mirror, plus I was dealing with real people who were so friendly! I had asked them not to put it in the frame just to cut costs, but when I arrived, they had framed it for me too (possibly on accident). When I mentioned that I had only paid for the glass, not the framing, they said, "Don't worry about it." The mirror is so clear and good quality, I'm very happy with my experience with them. We were able to get someone out here to look at what we need, but since then, we have called multiple times asking about our quote, and they always say we will have it by the end of the day. It's been over a month now, and I am so disappointed in this business. We can't use our shower because we are still waiting to hear from them about getting glass installed. What an outstanding company!!!! Due to a family emergency I've been staying in So. Pasadena, but needed work done on my house in Summerland ASAP!!! I called 3 different companies Tuesday evening....they called back first thing Wed. morning and sent someone out that afternoon. The beveled mirror on my antique French armoire broke while being moved and needed to be replaced. Junior at Jnl came to the house, took very careful measurements, advised me on getting the right backing for the mirror, since the new one was not going to be as thick and heavy as the original, and returned with a helper to install the new mirror. They were very gentle and careful with this fragile piece of furniture, and the result is perfect. Highly recommend for an excellent job at a fair price. read more

I guess they are too busy and don't need my business. I will be going to another vendor. I called for an estimate on a new shower enclosure. Was told someone would call back. After 3 weeks with no call back, I called again. Got an appointment for an estimate then later was told the estimator couldn't come out for another week. They asked for an email of the dimensions which I provided the next day with a diagram. It's been 9 days and no estimate. read more

Amazing service! We had an emergency sliding glass door window repair. We called at the end of the day (a few days before Christmas) and they had Steve there the next morning. He was just there to look at it and had prior commitments but he was determined to get the window fixed for us that day. He worked it out with the rest of their staff to make it happen. Poor service from start to end. I called them to schedule a consultation and they were supposed to call me back with a date. After about three days I called them back to find out when they would be able to come out and take a look at the window. After playing phone tag I finally was able to schedule a date for the following week from 10 AM to noon. On the date of our appointment I waited there for the two hours and called 15 minutes before noon to find out if they were still coming out. The receptionist answered the phone and said that they were close by and would be coming shortly. I proceeded to wait until 12:15 and called back again to find out if they were having problems finding the place. The receptionist wasn't able to get a hold of the workers and so I respectfully informed her that I was going to continue with my day and if it was possible to just get a price over the phone with the measurements. She assured me that it was possible and said that I would be receiving a call later with an amount. I have yet to receive that phone call... What a waste of my time! read more

Unbelievably RUDE!!! I'm still in disbelief!. Got a quote after waiting for over two weeks for Dereck to come out. He gave me information about the job AFTER I agreed to the installation that I needed to talk to him about. He wouldn't call me back. Only emails. Rude little receptionist said he's always unavailable. So I ask for someone else to call me so I could talk to a person about my questions. So JAMES got on the phone. I told him who I was and what the job was, he cut me off in mid sentence and very arrogantly said " I own the company and am familiar with your job, so what do you need to talk about?" I started to tell him again ( he sounded like a young inexperienced man who could care less about me and my business. He continued speaking to me in a condescending way. I told him I didn't appreciate his attitude and he hung up on me and told me to go somewhere else. Unreal! Im reporting them to all my friends, the BBB and hopefully the local news station. I had Jnl glass do some glass work for me. I was quoted one price and then mid job the price went up, when I reluctantly agreed to. When the job was finished, the price went up again! The owner was very arrogant and rude when I questioned why the price went up the 3rd time. He rudely said "you pay me now or I will take the glass work out and you can go somewhere else" I would never go back to them for work and will tell all my friends not to use them! read more
