I had a broken double pane window that had a bird fly into it and crack it, I called two other glass shops in Ventura, made appointments with both and neither showed nor called. I called Airway and they said they could come the same day after 2 pm. They were here at 2:45, had my window measured and said it would be in in a week or so. I received a call 8 days later that my new pane was ready. They were out the next morning and installed my new glass. Both gentlemen were professional and the job was well done with a fair price. Airway has been so good, I am ordering custom mirrors from them for my new bathroom. read more

Ernie at Airway Glass is a FANTASTIC guy. I had an old vintage medicine cabinet and wanted to replace the mirror, which broke in a move, but I couldn't for the life of me figure out how to take the thing apart. Ernie figured it out in about 5 minutes and told me it'd be ready on Monday. Lo and behold, he called me about an hour later to tell me the job was done. The cabinet looks brand new, and Ernie couldn't have been more pleasant to work with. 10/10. read more

This place is horrible. I had them come out and measure for glass to be cut for the shelves of my hutch. They took the measurements and left. I never heard from them. I called and they said they would be cut and I could come get them. My husband went and picked them up paid for them and they didn't fit. I called and called. They would say they would be out never showed up. They stopped answer my calls so I had my mother in law call. Finally the came out took the glass re measured and said they would bring them back the next day. It's been a week I still don't have them. When I call they always say they will bring them tomorrow. I needed two pieces of glass cut and finished with finger pulls. I waited 6 weeks in total to not get what I ordered. Got postponed multiple times. Business very, very rarely answered or returned phone calls in spite of leaving messages. The most unprofessional and rude business in have every dealt with. Extremely poor customer service and products. I had a fifteen-year-old dual glazed window replaced due to seal failure. The replacement window was a complete failure. Seals were not completed around most of the window glazing spacer and water leakage was extreme after a couple of days. Stanley, the service tech said he would pick up the bad window and get the repairs made. Stanley did not pick up the bad window and has not responded to any of my calls or voice mail messages since his two calls to me saying he would pick up and replace it with a good window assembly. it has been several weeks with no response. I assume Stanley/airway glass does not intend to honor his recommended repair of the bad replacement window. This business is a bad joke, avoid it. read more

I'm sad to give Airway a one star review because for years it was a great business with excellent service. Since it changed hands after the original owners retired and sold it, the business has gone downhill. We called for service on sliders that the original owners had installed 20 years ago. It took several phone calls just to get an appointment; the guy they dispatched showed up late and replaced our wheels with ones that were too small. He then put on larger wheels the next day at our request but left the doors crooked and not adjusted properly so they did not close evenly. Meanwhile a second crew came to our house having no idea that someone else had already been there. We ended up contacting a friend who referred us to a different slider door repairman who came and fixed the doors quickly and properly. read more

Poor service. I came in to order some glass to repair a broken window. The lady first got the order wrong, then told me "the guy who cuts the glass" was out at the moment and might not be able to do this into the morning. Ok. She calls the next morning to give me an updated cost, then asks for a deposit. Over the phone, I arrange payment for the entire cost. She says she will call when it is ready. A couple of days go by, I call her, she says tomorrow. Tomorrow comes and goes, by then it is Friday, I call her and she now says "Monday". I get no call on Monday, so I call again, and nobody is there to allow pickup, even though another person tells me that the glass is in. I drove out the next day and picked it up. The glass was fine, but I won't be going through this fiasco again. read more

Well, here's another 1 star review. If I could have given zero stars, I would have! Had a 12:00 noon appointment on a Saturday, and the service man came at 2:00pm, and that was only because I called him 3 times. Wrote measurements of my windows down but didnt give me any work order or paperwork. I didn't even get a business card from him. He was totally unprofessional and reeked from cigarette smoke and had all kinds of excuses. I called Monday morning to verify and never heard back from them. Awful. We had a flooring company break our business window at 11 am. Called this company to come and board and get replacement. They said they would be there ASAP. Never heard from them again and they put phones on answering machine, I left 2 messages and never heard back. As a business owner you can't leave your property with a huge storefront window out overnight. If you can't do it- tell someone. Don't leave customers wondering. Airway saved my a$$ and didn't gouge me. Friday AM with rain forecasted for the weekend and a leaky port light (skylight) on my boat, I needed a piece of plexiglass cut for me ASAP. The staff at Airway went out of their way to get it done for me. The plexi was cut perfectly and the front office girl stayed late to wait for me to come pick it up. It was a super small job for them, but their attention to detail, customer service and very affordable price left me a happy and dry customer. Thanks Airway! read more
