Initially, I was patient because my calls were made around July 4, however I lost patience when I called more than five times over a period of three weeks and they never returned a call. In several conversations with other motorcyclists, I learned that that has been a drastic change in Barnstorm. It is perceived they are custom shop, at this time but they do not communicate that to the public. While I received an apology as a result of this poor review, Nothing changed!

I drove about an hour to pick it up, only to be told when I arrived that the part still needed to be "checked in" before they could release it to me, and that I should check back the next day. At first, I tried to be understanding, but the issue is that my schedule makes it difficult to get back out there anytime soon, so this ended up being a wasted trip. The next day, I called Harley-Davidson customer service to better understand what happened. They explained that this was a Buy Online, Pick Up In Store item, which means the dealership showed the part as physically in stock when I placed the order. I then called the dealership and was transferred to the service department, where I waited on hold for about 25 minutes. Eventually, I was told someone from service would call me back, but I never received a call before they closed. The frustrating part is not just that I didn't get the part -- it's that I received a "ready for pickup" email, made the trip, and then couldn't get a clear answer or follow-up. I understand mistakes happen, but the communication and customer service on this order were disappointing. Customer service is an afterthought. I have thousands of dollars planned to put into my bike this summer. Their loss. A business is only as good as it's customer service.

He had our boat for 8 months to fix a rough idle, stallng problem and to wrap it for winter storage. I drove by the shop in february and the boat still wasn't wrapped, although it had already snowed several times over the winter. I called to complain and they said that they couldn't wrap it yet because the work wasn't finished, but assured me that they were clearing the snow and making sure it was dry. When they finally said the boat was ready in March I discovered that the cover had ripped from snow weight and the entire inside was wet and covered in mildew. After cleaning up the damage they had caused the best I could I tried starting the boat and it won't even start. I paid these people over $1000 to fix a problem that they didn't fix and in the process they damaged the interior of the boat. I'm pretty sure the radio is ruined from the moisture as well. So by the time I get the cover fixed and get a new radio I'll be in to them for close to $1500 and I still need to bring the boat somewhere else to fix the original problem.

I'm hoping to ride this baby off of the lot today :) Also plan to handle registration & inspection myself (I am trying to upgrade from a Honda 250 to this Honda 600). So far, I've primarily dealt with Ellen at the front desk. First over the phone, and then in person. She has been very kind and helpful, and has been able to secure and offer me a good deal. Perhaps if I'm handling the registration & inspection myself I might be able to receive a further price deduction... or perhaps a voucher for their riding school instead? Who knows? Couldn't hurt to ask :) I'm a new rider and have my permit, and have been riding my little Honda Rebel CMX250 with some confidence for some time now. Not a great highway bike though. Took her on a couple times anyways. As a person who is always running late for everything, the power and ability to take the highway if I want or need to will be invaluable. Getting ready to head back over to the dealership. (I was also there last night.) Hopefully we can close and I can ride her off the lot today! My first purchase was private sale and ended up being more of a project bike than I had time or money for. I'm hoping this bike will be ready to go with no issues for the foreseeable future!
