I along with my entire family had previously had our motorcycles inspected and repaired it Barnstorm Cycles in Spencer, Massachusetts. It was our experience that they were down to earth, responsive to our telephone calls and overall trustworthy when interfacing with the customer, however something has changed dramatically and they do not return telephone calls no matter how many times you call them. Initially, I was patient because my calls were made around July 4, however I lost patience when I called more than five times over a period of three weeks and they never returned a call. In several conversations with other motorcyclists, I learned that that has been a drastic change in Barnstorm. This used to be my go to bike place. Love the people, used to love the prices, but now that people know of it, it's getting too pricey for me, which is sad, since they do a good job. A bad wiring harness turned into two hours of labor, and seemed to be $50 higher than expected. read more

Stopped in to checkout some bikes and Jeep equipment. The people inside were extremely courteous and quick to help out.

Rode over 100 miles one warm day in September to check out a motorcycle they had advertised. I had no expectations of the place or the folks working there. All I wanted was to see if the bike was as good as it was portrayed in the photos. Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! Not only was the bike as immaculate as it was described, but the people there were incredibly warm. As I sat by waiting to take test a ride, I was engaged by a guy sitting in a chair beside me. An enlightening and really fun conversation ensued. We must have hit 20 different topics, only half of them were about motorcycles. Before I hopped on the Indian Scout to check it out, the guy introduced himself as Doug, one of the co-owners of barnstorm Cycles. Pretty cool fellow. Then he led me on a marvelous tour of the place. I saw so many interesting bikes - several different makes, many gorgeous customs, some heavily modified works in progress. It was like being in a museum. Theresa, my sales person, was extremely accommodating as well. She did everything in her power to see that I was comfortable. The 2+ hours I was there was time well spent regardless of my original purpose. I left the place feeling very confident in their professionalism and expertise. Enough so that I that I'm seriously considering hauling my antique Norton back there for maintenance and some custom work. I am disappointed to be told by your sales lady, Teresa Kelley that Barnstorm doesn't want me as a customer. I've never heard of such a thing. I just want to know before moving on from this that you indeed confirm this as your position. To discriminate against customers who you haven't even spoken to to at least see what's really going on is unprofessional. I have the text showing you that I attempted to make times to come in and finalize the purchase and was told more than once, "it isn't a good time", "I don't have an available slot" or "I'm booked today". I came to your business seeking a jeep. My daughter first went looking for a jeep for me. When she found one she knew I'd like I then went in with my bike. My bike was looked at during that time. Teresa and I struck a deal. I test drove the vehicle. Once the deal was struck , it was changed by another woman. Who claimed they needed to take $600. off for a minute scratch. Also I was told there was a $450. detail fee. I asked if that fee could be removed and no detailing be done. Teresa said it was company policy the detail be done and it couldn't be changed. So my wife went in to test drive the vehicle, which Teresa had said had just come back from detailing. the back window was now clear. But my wife tried to point out the 1/8th inch of dirt on the vent levers, however, your sales person was only interested in knowing how much gas was in the jeep. My wife test drove the vehicle for 15 minutes. During that time they stopped at the cemetery in the center of Spencer and took the top down. Upon returning your sales lady told my wife they didn't like customers taking the tops down, to which my wife replied that she wanted to be sure everything functioned properly. Teresa then told her they were afraid people would damage the top because they didn't know how to take it down. My wife pointed to our daughters jeep which they arrived in and said, "we know how to take it down". My Wife pointed out the dirt on the jeep seats and vents and Teresa told me that dirt was probably from the 15 minute test drive taken when the top was taken down. When several small scratches were pointed out the answer was, it's used, you'll never get them out. So why am I being charged $600 for a tiny scratch on my 2017 Harley? Also when wet these scratches on the jeep disappear which tells me they can be waxed out. I offered to replace the bags on my bike before trading it in and was told "no because they will be after market bags". Several texts to Teresa went unanswered. When asked for a car fax the reply was "It's a one owner, no accident jeep". I have screen shots of everything. This woman is incredibly rude. She is curt and straight out insulting. She told me that at a meeting held Wednesday, your sales person told me that you had all decided she'd spent too much time on me and Barnstorm does not want me as a customer. When asked about the top sitting on your property, your salesperson could not identify the type vehicle it belonged to, my daughter had to tell me. My daughter also had to answer a lot of other jeep related questions because your sales lady could not. I noticed the slush mats that are a part of the Willys package were missing and when I asked about these I was told I would not be getting any mats. When I went in for the test drive Teresa told me there was a lady there who was there by appointment and she would be following me on my test drive. When Teresa left to get plates, I spoke with the waiting woman who then told me she had no appointment she was a walk in. This woman had to follow me in another Barn storm vehicle. Another practice I'd never heard of. She told me I couldn't come in to make the purchase of the 2015 Willys because she didn't have the time. Also that I'd need to make another appointment for the mechanics to look over the bike again, one and a half weeks since they first looked at it. If you count the miles on my bike from the day they looked at it you'll see I only rode it home. It has not moved from my garage since that day. I was never given one on one time with this sales lady. I do not expect to be insulted by being told I'm not wanted as a customer. I have exerted every effort to ask for information about this jeep from a woman who could not be bothered and obviously told her management staff that she's spent hours and hours on me. this is not the case. I always try to do business at small, local places.If your company didn't want to do business with me shouldn't your management have been the one calling me to say that and not your sales person? read more

Spent over a thousand dollars to have my bike repaired here. Bike ran for around ten miles before quitting on me. I brought it back to the shop and they said they "looked at it" and needed additional payment before they continued working on it. Does not stand behind work. Huge waste of money. read more

The guys over at barnstorm have been incredibly helpful with my motorcycle and choosing some new parts for me. The service writer Bryant has been great. He made several different custom engine kit ROs for me as well as clear explanation of all the costs included. Bryant has called me to inform me of progress on the build as well as hopeful finish dates. The great thing is Bryant didn't bullshit me with information I didn't need. He showed me numerous parts lists as well as benefits of the parts. Him as well as a technician showed me the damage in my motor and what the new parts would do for me. I've been incredibly happy with the service I've received and would definitely feel comfortable recommending barnstorm to friends and other motorcycle riders. read more
