I should have written well deserved review a while ago. Vehicle shipped: 2006 Chevy Silverado, Crew cab, 5-foot bed with folding hard shell tonneau cover. I was transferred from San Diego to Maryland by the military in Jan 2018. I had to ship my truck while we drove the other vehicle across the country. I had two shippers fall through with less than a week left before we started our drive across the country. The last company I tried (and failed) recommend Fisher Shipping. I called Fisher Shipping and the company was able to get me a reasonable price, well under what I expected (he jokingly offered to charge me more if that would make me feel better, I declined). Fisher Shipping found me a transporter/driver (they are a broker) within 24 hours (Jana Transportation). Regrettably, I had to leave my truck with a friend while we started off for the other side of the country, but about two days later it was picked up and delivered several days before we arrived at our destination. My truck was delivered in the exact same condition that it was picked up in, both Fisher Shipping and Jana Transportation were easy to get ahold of, communicated well, and notified me when they were close to pick up and delivery...thewhole process was smooth and care free. I am SUPREMELY impressed with the service and quality and will recommend Fisher Shipping to anyone needing vehicle transport, military or otherwise. Thank you Fisher Shipping you really saved the day for me! This is the only time I have ever written a review, for anything, good or bad, that's how awesome they were (My wife wrote one under my name, for the first company that fell through, holy crap was that bad). I did so, so much research to find a reputable car shipping company to ship my car from CA to Washington, DC. It is not a regulated industry and there are a lot of scammers. I came across Fisher Shipping and I was really impressed that Fisher Shipping had such good positive reviews on Yelp, Google, and BBB--I couldn't find a single negative review! Even though they are a MA based company, they can find carriers to ship anywhere in the United States. The price was competitive and reasonable. It has been a really smooth process so far for the following reasons: 1) They set up expectations really well. They told me exactly when I should expect my car to be scheduled, when to expect to hear from them, what the process will be like. This really alleviated my stress. I worked primarily with Dave, who was excellent! 2) They answer all emails within the same day and my phone calls never go to voicemail during business hours. There is always a staff member to answer my call. 3) They NEVER asked for my credit card until AFTER they scheduled a carrier. I heard about other shady companies who asked for people's credit card upfront and then hit them with delays. It is not like this with Fisher Shipping. 4) They found me a shipping carrier who called me frequently with updates until my car was picked up--exactly within the planned time window. Initially, I was prepared for hassle and disappointment, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how smooth the process has been so far! I am really glad I went with Fisher Shipping. Hopefully my car will be delivered without issues, but given how well and hassle-free things have been so far, I am confident that it will. I recently retired, my wife and I purchased a home in Southern Florida, and this was my first time transporting a car to our new home. Needless to say I had some doubts. We've had a few friends of ours transport their cars back and forth, and have heard some less than favorable things. That being said, I wasn't sure if I wanted to drive both cars or have one transported. Dave Fisher did a great job of explaining to me how his company operates, and how I can expect everything to work . At first I felt the price was reasonable, but based on the service we received, I feel like it was a bargain. On the day our car was picked up, the driver called us in the morning and we coordinated pickup for later that day. He came that afternoon and we were on our way. I informed Dave that delivery would be difficult because we live in a gated community. He told me not to worry about a thing, and that he would make arrangements with the driver, to meet me outside the gate. (I actually had him pull into the Publix parking around the corner, it caused less commotion, and I think my new neighbors appreciated it). My wife's car was delivered safely in Bonita Springs 3 days later. As I said before, this was the first time I've ever used a car transport service and working with Dave Fisher and Fisher Shipping was quick, easy, and honest. Stephen at Fisher was great. I was anxious and had a ton of questions and he worked with me. Got my car 3 days after I signed the paperwork. That is the short version. This is the slightly longer version: I bought a car from a dealer 1,200 miles away and I had to arrange for the shipping myself. I got bids from those rated highly online but still didn't feel comfortable. I called the dealer and they said that someone from Fisher shipping had contacted them. They hadn't used the company, but... I called Fisher and got Stephen. He listened and answered all my questions. He was up front about the fact that his would not be the lowest bid. But boy he was first rate. And the bid was in-line but at the higher end of the spectrum. Stephen was great to work with. Always prompt responding when I had more questions. Always accessible via email and phone. Never made me feel like a pain because I was nervous. The shipper that brought the car was great. He arrived early, days early. I had my car 3 days after I booked the shipping. The whole thing felt overwhelming and stressful, but Stephen did his best to smooth the way. The outcome couldn't have been better. read more

Overall my experience with Fisher Shipping Company and especially Sarah was phenomenal and far exceeded all of my expectations (which are very high). I was struggling with other companies and a friend recommended them. I was skeptical. Sarah called me later that night after I had done a random inquiry on their website. She spent over an hour on the phone with me not only hearing my needs, but also listening to my frustrations and getting to know me. By the end of the conversation she promised me to move my car quickly and that she did. The next morning I spoke with her at 7am and by noon my car had a truck from Ohio to California. Absolutely everything was beyond my greatest possible expectations! Sarah Carragher, the lady that I dealt with in their office, treated me like a VIP and kept me aware of every step of the process. I stay very busy, so when I forgot about something, she kindly reminded. The car was picked up on the day she told me and delivered on the day she told me. She gave me the information for the driver and when I would be contacted. The driver (Dima, originally from Uzbekistan) followed through with the contact and was as polite and helpful as a person could be. He gave me the option of taking delivery at night when he arrived in my town or in the morning. He went through the paperwork showing me where he noted the very small few scratches that were on the car when he picked it up from the dealer. The Fisher was about $150 more than many other shippers, but it was well worth my not having to worry about what could go wrong for the 2,450 mile trip. I was shipping a show-level classic and asked if there were other protections they offered to ensure it arrived without incident. Despite the invitation to upsell their services, Adam said there was no need. He was correct. 2. The car was coming from a remote portion of upstate NY to CA and yet the driver arrived within 20 minutes of the target time I had provided two weeks before. 3. Typically on cross country trips, my experience has been that a car gets transferred among drivers in different large haulers, which means multiple loads/unloads, risking damage each time. This was my first time shipping a car and it went great! After speaking with several other companies and getting frustrated with the entire process, a friend with a car dealership recommended me to Fisher. I called Jerry and his "down to earth" personality really put me at ease. The entire process went smooth. He gave me a competitive quote. The pick up was on time and just as planned. I paid the driver at pick up with a cashiers check (although I could have paid at delivery). Also my first time having a car shipped. I got quotes from a couple different companies, and then waited, and waited and waited, but my car was not getting any closer. Finally on recommendation from my dealer I called Fisher. They are not the cheapest, and came in $250.00 higher than other companies, but I was reassured I would see the car shipped. I booked with them mid week and by the end of the week they had a truck. My car was picked up in N. Carolina on a Monday and I received it at my home on that Wednesday!! No problems and the carrier did a great job with the car in perfect shape (except dirty from being in an open carrier. If you don't want this spend the extra $$ for an enclosed carrier). The good: Quick pick-up and transport across the country! Not so good: Large grease smudges on driver's side door, inside, apparently from transport guy getting into and moving vehicle...not subtle...grabbing the inside of the door to close it with very, very dirty, greasy hands.
