In 11/2024 I had this business repair my Starter Module in my 2004 Buick Regal LS, it came with a one year warranty, almost exactly one year later this part broke, called the business and they came out and got my car, when i returned for the car i was surprised to find they put in a "Crank Sensor" in my car, again i was given a warranty on this part too. I picked up the car, drove 5 miles up the street and went into a store for a hot coffee, when i returned to the car, it wouldn't start, when i called the shop yet again, i was greeted with a very frustrated manager on the phone "that part was brand new, i dont know why it broke", still under warranty i asked them to repair it, this time upon recieving my car, i drove it straight home due to being very ill, i got in the car 4 days later to go to my doctor's appointment and the car refused to start once again. at this point i asked to speak with the owner or get a full refund for the faulty/poor work they did on my car and im still waiting for a response. i've called every single day and i'm told the owner Christopher Remillard was notified of the problem and would be calling me back soon. It has been a full week and on going i have heard nothing, meanwhile the manager "Mike" wants to hook my car up for more testes and parts, thus milk me for yet more money to repair my car, and has refused to offer to repair the broken part.or give me a refund on the faulty/poor repair job, DONT TRUST THIS SHOP, and i will report them to the BBB if this problem/refund is not taken care of properly, DONT BE A VICTIM!! read more

This company dropped my car off their flatbed and it hit a police cruiser. The owner won't return my calls, and never reported the incident to his insurance company. If I could leave zero stars, I would. ETA The driver was very sweet, and super apologetic. He told me that he'd been asking for repairs to be made on the truck and had been unsuccessful. I first found Bellingham Parts Plus when I called AAA for a breakdown. Driver/mechanic took a few minutes to diagnose the trouble. I wanted a tow to where I had been getting my car repaired and the driver gave me excellent advice. He said, don't let them tell you it's the alternator, it's not. Sure enough, they tried to tell me I needed an alternator or I'd breakdown again shortly. I decided to leave and go to Bellingham Part's Plus where the less costly repair was made. I've stayed with them now for years for all our vehicle repairs. They're very honest with what needs to be done, they make excellent repairs and they're competitive in their charges. They like to scam people, I ask them to see what's wrong with my car and they took part off when I didn't ask them to fix it, then the charge me $192 just because the went to see what wrong with the car. My car was towed to this place without my consent by the police because my brother was pulled over and turns out he had an suspended license (we were never told this btw- nasty surprise). When I called to pick it up they told me they weren't open on the weekends, which would be fine but they were also charging me to house my car for two days when I could've picked it up- this is fleecing the customer (of which I had no choice, I wasn't even given a phone call to decide where my car would be towed to, which I later found out I could've had towed to a relatives house near by and avoided overnight charges) This happened on a Friday, the police towed my car to them because of a contract- a mutually beneficial way to screw over people. I have AAA and they would've done it for free. The cops intentionally avoided letting me choose where it would be towed to so it would be stuck for two days and this horrible place could collect more money then was actually fair. THEN when we went to pick it up Monday we talked to the owner who was not only rude in his explanations of why they would not drop the overnight charges but also dismissive of our anger over this injustice- while its not illegal what they were doing (police and this place) it certainly was bad business etiquette. I don't have a lot of money and they took advantage of my situation for personal and selfish gain. When we squared away the payments and license check I returned my rental (another cost incurred because they wouldn't let me pick my car up sat) and got a ride with the rental company for FREE (great people btw) but then guess what? They couldn't find my keys. Are you serious, the lady behind the counter brought up several keys and all were not mine, I spotted it in a cup on the desk and said would in be in there, to which the rude owner said "no those are for customers keys that were working on" I'm sorry? You just took my money, and because I didn't come to you for work done I'm less important. Got it. $270 to be treated like a second class citizen ($106 for the tow, and around $80 a NIGHT THAT COULDVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY HAD ANY CLASS) Another employee helped to find my key and found it guess where- in the cup I had mentioned, the owner mumbled angrily under his breath that it shouldn't have been in there, and I mumbled back that its a tip top place they got here, apparently my keys and money didn't even warrant being put in the correct place. The final toll came when they ushered us out when my car was up front, we walked out and my brother nearly yelled- my car, the one they supposedly were keeping safe for $80 a night was covered front to back in leaves and forest debris. So obviously if you bring your car here don't trust you'll get it back clean or in any type of nice condition in which it was dropped off. Or maybe its because it was a police tow and these biased jerks just didn't care. Ive taken pictures and I will post. I recommend anyone who treats people (paying customers one might say) with that level of disrespect, shady business practices, and complete lack of empathy is not deserving of a single cent of your money, and as you've read sometimes you don't even need to consent to be charged nearly $300. 0 stars if I could rate this super honestly, until then know that if police need to tow your car they will take it here and you should pray its not on a weekend or you are screwed, and you can expect no remorse or compassion from these people. The only nice person was the front desk woman who wasn't great at her job but at least she expressed some sympathy. Although she neglected to tell me that police tows are to be paid in cash only (luckily I had cash- my savings) another way to keep all this extra dirty business untraceable to both of them. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I came for just an oil change and asked how much it would be for my Ford Focus 2014 that takes synthetic oil and they told me $100!!!!! "Luckily" my friend works for them and got it down to $87. I later went back to pay and they told me it was $97 FOR AN OIL CHANGE ONLY. I told them my friend brad said it would be $87 and they told me that was not true? Yet I told them brad said it would be that much before I got it done to make sure it wasn't that much money. I called 4 different places around the area all said within $50-70 and that they get calls about this place scamming people especially WOMEN. I called after and tried to get my money back and she was very rude and did not care that I had a bad experience which is why I am here writing my first yelp review! The Bellingham police called for towing from Bellingham parts plus. It was not my decision as I have heard terrible things about this place but unfortunately I had no choice. This place is known for ripping people off. Their positive reviews have to be fake because everyone I have talked to knows this place is terrible. There are Massachusetts state laws regarding towing fees. I was at least double charged for my towing and when I questioned the receipt I was called a "prick" and almost hit by one of their employees. Not once did I swear or make any sort of threats. The owner just sat there. He never called me back, which is not surprising given how their establishment works. I spoke with Massachusetts state police towing compliance who confirmed that I was at least double charged for all line items (number of workers, labor, and towing). He was baffled by the receipt I provided and recommended I submit a complain to dept of utilities. If Bellingham police tows your vehicle to this place, be prepared to question the bill and also deal with sketchy people. If you have a choice in the matter, do not work with this business! read more

I've dealt with this business at least twice in the past few months and I received such great service that I had to leave a review. I like countless others needed a jump during the frigid weather we are currently having (single digits), so, I called AAA. I was told that there was a 3.5 hour waiting period and was not surprised. Bellingham Parts Plus, like the last time I called AAA, responded and was here in about 20min. Mark had my car running in a matter of a few minutes. I asked him for advice on replacing my battery and he was knowledgeable, friendly and very respectful. My previous experience with this place was about the same-Great! Car died and we tried to jump it with no luck. Thought it may be the starter. Friendly knowledgeable Rene came quickly and figured out that the battery was old and needed replacing. He called back to the shop and had a new battery delivered in 15 minutes! In another 10 minutes the battery was installed! Such great customer care and excellent convenient service. This place was absolutely fantastic. I recently started having problems with my car that caused the check engine light to come on. I took it to a guy in town who wanted to charge me in the ball park of $1,000. I don't know much about cars but had a pretty good idea that I was getting swindled so I left. I called Parts Plus and let them know what was going on and they were able to look at it a couple days later. I dropped the car off and got a call a couple hours later telling me the problem, what the repair would cost and such. I appreciated them calling me and quoting me a price before just doing it. I've dropped my cars off for oil changes some places and they just go ahead and do work. It's shady as hell, thankfully Parts Plus doesn't operate that way. They did the same job for over half the price. I am grateful for their quality honest service and will definitely be coming back for all my car's service and will recommend all my family and friends to do the same. read more

I can't say enough about this place. I had to have my car towed to Boston because that is where my mechanic is and I did not know anyone in this area since moving here. It was a busy day and the office called me twice just to check in and let me know they were going to be a little longer. My driver was Keith. He was so nice and told me that in the future I should try this place. After nearly an hour on the road we arrived in Boston. He went on his way and my mechanic put the car on the lift and told me there was nothing wrong with the car! I leave and sure enough the next day the same noise. I decided to take the car to Parts Plus and give it a shot. They fixed the car in no time, charged me less than the quote I had gotten from the garage I had used for years. Today I went to start the car and the BRAND NEW battery was dead. I called them again and they sent their AAA driver who jumped the car, tested the battery, which was no good. Desperate to get to work they were willing to follow me back to Auto Zone so I could return the battery and purchase one from AAA which I should have done in the first place. I did not have enough time to do that but will do it tomorrow. I am so pleased with the service, the pricing and frankly the concern that these guys have shown me. They are real pros and honest. We called AAA when our car wouldn't start. They came down and started our vehicle. We started having problems starting our vehicle right after. When you'd shut off the car, the radio would go on and the clock would go off. The car got so bad I finally brought to our mechanic and received a call asking if someone had jumped our car.....when they jumped the car, they put the lead on incorrectly and shorted out our battery, fuse box, the main lead to my husband's scooter lift, starter, and altenator....over $1400!! We contacted AAA and Chris from Bellingham Parts Plus called my husband....RUDE, IGNORANT and so unprofessional we are taking it up with AAA and beyond. Mistakes happen but when you call disabled man and talk to him so rudely, you don't belong in business. He even called our local garage "a scam artist"....talk about ignorant. We will NEVER have AAA send these people again and we will spread the word about them....and not in a good way. read more
