I brought my vehicle in to have a ball joint replaced. It took them more than a day to do it and when they were finished, they told me the bill was over $2000. We asked why it was so much and they told us since they were looking, they replaced some spark plugs. Some wires look bad in the engine and they did the rear shocks. All the car was brought for the ball joint the rest of this work they did was unauthorized. I don't do all that work at once because I only work a part-time job. read more

BEWARE!!! We went here for a State inspection sticker for my daughter's car. He failed it for a small exhaust leak, they put it on lift to diagnose and give an estimate, so far so good. While it was on lift, the "salesman" was up-selling us a full tune up, all air filter replacements, etc. without even looking at it, and BTW the car runs perfectly. He said "we can go through the car and list everything that's wrong with it for you". He came back with the verdict, an exhaust pipe leak. He said they can fix it right now and slap a sticker on it, and we can be on our way. He said a "flex pipe" would do it. He quoted $450.oo for the job, warning us that if we replaced the whole system it would be over $1,100.oo Having once been a mechanic, I knew I was being taken advantage of. I asked why so expensive for a "flex" pipe, and could he break down the cost. He said they get $90.oo an hour for labor, they had to bring in a welder for a fee of $75.oo (they don't know how to weld mild steel on premises?) and the flex pipe was $275.oo. Two Hundred Seventy Five for a piece of pipe! I asked him what it was made of, solid silver? I told him no thanks, and to bring car around. Later went on O'Reilly Auto Parts site and found various flex exhaust pipes and connectors for this exact year and model car from $14.oo to $28.oo So, in reality the repair should take one hour of labor at $90.oo, and $50.oo for a generously marked-up part, total of $140.oo - they wanted $450.oo BEWARE!!! ---UPDATE--- Brought this car to another shop in the area. They fixed the exhaust pipe problem and the total charge was $195.00 including tax. I won't name this other shop, because their fair pricing and quality work has their 8 lifts full of cars 6 days a week. read more

Con artists that are not educated in the inspection process. My girlfriend kindly brought my car here to get it inspected earlier today. The car proceeded to fail inspection due to an emergency brake "issue". I ended up having to leave work early to go back and have them re-inspect the car. When I got there I asked them to show me why it failed in the parking lot. They proceeded to put the emergency brake on, put the car in drive, and revved the engine (over 2100 rpm) until the back tires were being dragged in the wet parking lot. The person doing the test said that this is why it failed. I stated that this was incorrect as the test is supposed to be done at 1500rpm. The person doing the test got very defensive and proceed to tell me I was wrong and that my car would fail at any other shop. I left and drove straight from this shop to another garage were my car proceed to pass without issue. It appears that the people running this shop are not educated in the inspection process and are just looking to con people. This shop should be investigated by Massachusetts to ensure that they are inspecting people's vehicles properly and not robbing them of their money. read more

This place is bad. And I mean this is the worst business in the entire region. I would take my car to a 3 year old before letting these bafoons even look at my car as it drove by their shop. I took my 2 year old car here for an inspection after having it with my mechanic for a day going through everything for inspection. I show up at Chaddys station here and the greaseball starts giving me the go around about how I need 2 new tires, a light and wiper blades. I laughed and said yeah I'm all set I'll take the rejection sticker and if I get stopped I'll be sure to send them his way for being a con artist. I took it to the inspection station up the street and had a sticker on my car in less than fifteen minutes since leaving chaddy. They laughed and said never take a car to those con artists. I went there for oil change and break pads. They are so pricey and I have to redone it again in less than six month since this auto center using cheap parts. So make sure if you are dealing with owner or his assistance to watch over their work. Personally I will never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Second day of car trouble. A buddy recommended this place to go for a sticker. I usually have no trouble. I give over my registration and money then a few minutes later I am off. So much for that in this situation. The guy came out and gave me a laundry list of stuff. OK, that's fine. But I just had all that stuff you listed... FIXED!! And I know that the guy did it because he is a buddy and recommended this place. So, I smiled and left after paying $29.00 for nothing but a damn headache. I looked over the print out and it basically was a visual fail (tires/brakes) and to boot the car was not warmed up enough. He could have told me that the car was not ready. I guess it would not have mattered seeing I could not understand him (thick accent). This proves again I should have waited and gone to the garage I usually go to. Same lesson learned - patience. I gave one star for this visit. They also do detailing and the car looked pretty good that was being worked on. read more

THANK YOU for saving $$$ me from having to get a front end alignment. so went here thinking I was going to need an alignment that was going to run me big bucks. they told me they would see if my wheels just maybe need to be balanced. well they took off my front drivers side tire and I had water in the well. This auto center does great work and is always helpful. I recently came in for an oil change, not expecting to get right in, but I did. They noticed my sticker was about to expire and did that as well. I never would have noticed it. Nice people - professional. Trustworthy. And the oil change was cheaper than SpeeDee. read more

We had been going all over town getting pushed and pulled on some exhaust work we needed done, one shop did some work to get us through an inspection, yet we still failed, so we brought it elsewhere. Those folks found serious problems, but told us they wouldn't know how much needed replacing before they started the work so we might be paying for more than the car is worth. We were getting very frustrated. Thankfully we came to executive auto next. They did a diagnostic, figured out exactly what we were going to need, did big repairs (manifold on down) way under what we had been quoted elsewhere the very next day. We have an older car where every repair makes us think about joining it. Executive found and resurfaced used parts for it in less than 24 hours, which saved us a lot of money vs. The OEM pricing we were expecting. I don't know why there are so many bad reviews here. They've always gone the extra mile for me here all these years. Very good service and quick. They do try to sell you what you need to pass an inspection but I have never been sold more than what I actually needed to pass such as a windshield wiper or a head light. They were all issues I knew about beforehand. Nothing shady, very well run, well done and they always do a a great job at a fair price. Haven't needed to look elsewhere since I found them. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!! I Can almost guarantee you that this guy is going to try and get you to fail inspection for minor reason just to get you to pay more. He is also very rude to customers. At first he tries to act friendly but once your car is getting inspected by him, he will try and hassle you over things that don't need to be addressed. He'll tell you things like your wipers and tires need to be replaced. He'll also fail you for things like your headlights being little yellow just so he can fix it in 20 seconds and then charge you and extra $30. Failed me on an inspection told me I needed inner and outer tire rods, brought my car to a mechanic to get it fixed, they checked it out and came back and asked me why I thought I needed new tire rods, I told them why and they just shook there heads and basically told me the screwed me over my tire rods are perfectly fine. There was very little play and I could continue to drive another year or 2 with no issue. They failed me just to try to get more money from me because there hurting for business. I'll never go back there agin. read more

Kicking myself for not looking at reviews prior to "attempting" to get my Truck inspected at Executive Auto!! Very similar story... They told me my 2 year old tires had "dry rot" and rejected my truck. I drove immediately to Town Fair tire (where I purchased the tires). These were $230 /tire. They told me tires were fine. I then drove to the adjacent Inspection station, told them "why" Executive failed my truck, and they laughed, said we get a lot of people that come from there. He also inspected my tires, said they were fine, and gave me a sticker!! I will be pursuing this atwww.mas.gov/vehicle check to see if I can get a refund....... I feel they fleeced me out of $35. I bought a truck here yesterday and it failed inspection in 8 categories. The shop said it was ready for the junk yard and the frame could crumble a part at anytime. I called Chad Saghbini (the owner) and told him I was bring the car back and he flipped out on me and said I would need to take him to court if I wanted my money back. I was his first sale on his new dealer license and he totally screwed me. Now I have to go threw this process to get my money back. It goes to show you how selfish and irresponsible this business really is. Do not give this guy any business, he is a headache! Went to get my MA State Inspection. The guy that took my keys I could barely understand he has a very think accent. The waiting room is very nice and inviting. They even have a fire place . My vehicle needed wipers. I told the guy I'll put them on myself. He said "well I'll just fail you." When I questioned him about it and why. He got very rude. So needless to say. I had him replace the wipers. While he went to where ever he was. I heard him poking fun of me. He was very loud about how cheap people are. When he came to give me my paper work he got very upset that I did not want to pay by cash. He then wanted to charge me extra for using my credit card. I was not awear it was a cash service only. I did as he wished and paid cash for my sticker. I will not return. After reading the other reviews I can't see why this business is still operating. read more

Please never use this business. They are unprofessional and when fixing the original problem they break other parts in your car. When asked to fix what they break they verbally assault and threaten you. This really happened and I don't want this to happen to anyone else!! Brought my SUV to get inspected and I thought it would be a very easy pass. However they told me I needed tires and that I would not pass without it. The tires in question have less then 15,000 miles on them. I was floored when they put the rejection sticker on. My next stop was to the shop I bought the tires from and I was told they were fine. I also went to another inspection station and they also told the tires were fine, and I was given my sticker (after paying another $35.00 of course). Executive is failing people in hopes to get them to spend money to have the cars fixed there. My Father went and they failed him because his rear windshield wiper was worn. Passed by here and needed a inspection sticker. Had a 50/50 chance of passing because I had gotten in an accident and my bumper was sticking out a little. I had gotten an $800 quote from a Natick body shop. It ended up getting rejected and Chad quoted me $517. I came back about a week later to get the bumper fixed. I didn't realized it would take about an hour and a half to fix. They even offered to give us a ride back home while the bumper gets fixed. Was a little nervous reading all the negative reviews while in the waiting room. Had a great experience here. Bumper looked great and looked like a brand new car again. I needed to have my car quickly so I was forced to pay this outrageous price. Flex pipe $70 100% markup Labor 2 hours @ $85/hour - $170 70 + 170 ______ $350 ?????????? My math says it should be $240 Add $10-$15 for supplies ok. read more

Do not go there for your inspection!! Never had trouble with inspections before. Was told my car needed, wipers, a light, new tires and an oil change??? Since when is an oil change needed for inspection?? Oh yeah and it will only cost me $475.00!! Told them I would take it to my own mechanic for repairs. Wow talk about a sketchy place! Went there to get some work done, very simple light bulb change. Light went out no more than 8 hours later went back and then was told I had to wait for another customers car first (paying patrons first I guess) after returning it took an hour to get the undivided attention of Chad, the owner. After insulting me by saying," this kids worth a million dollars he is hustling me for a light bulb!", I gave him a look he then said "quiet (my last name) before I get my gun and put in your mouth". Don't get me wrong I'm sure he was kidding, but he sure did sound serious. He was lucky things did not get physical, I was that mad. We've had minor items addressed here such as inspections in the past. My truck had a blown differential. AAMCO suggested trading it in but my truck should be able to provide another 100K at least. Tried Executive. Got a decent quote. Decided to do it. Got it back less than a week later with an alignment printout saying my Rt. Front wheel was dragging. Hmm. Wasn't noticing anything but brought it down the road to where I last had tire/wheel work done. They looked at it and told me the caliper was bearing down. Replaced that. Then on the way home, the ABS kicked in and the truck stalled. Mind you, I had only driven a total of about 400 yards since the differential was replaced. The "tire" place replaced the rotor at NC. But the stall was still there. Brought it back to Executive where it stalled out again and again. Plus, when I put the AC on, it blew all kinds of crap in that it had never, and I mean never, done before. The blower was also making a horrible sound and the idle just above "dead." Executive's owner called his mechanic out and began yelling at him and promised to get it fixed. Next day, was told it was all set. I went to pick it up and asked what I guess was a stupid question to ask; "what did they find?" The owner proceeded to chew me out for hassling him and wasting his time trying to get him to fix stuff they were not responsible for and to never bring my stuff back. Hmm...Great customer service. Not. As I have mulled the situation over, yes, my truck is running and they did not charge me for "repairing what was NOT WRONG when I dropped it off." I am now quite certain that when they dropped the axle, raised the engine, and took everything off, all of the issues we encountered were the result of their poor mechanical skills. And, when Executive goes out of business, it will be because of their poor customer service skills. I find them disingenuous at best. Don't bring your car for repair there. read more

This is the second time I've brought my 2004 Ford E350 in for inspection here, and will be the last. I was failed because the kid said there was a "massive amount of play" in the front end, but he was unable to tell me what the problem might be. My husband, who is an experienced mechanic, jacked up the front end and said that, while there was a certain amount of play, it was within the allowable limits. He adjusted the ball joints and I went back for re-inspection. The same kid said that the amount of play was the same as the first time, and asked me if I'd fixed the problem. Since he was unable to tell me what he thought the problem was, how could I know? Then I asked him how much Executive would charge to fix it, (whatever IT was) he was unable to tell me how much it would cost. I have a feeling that, if I were a man, I wouldn't have the same issue. I find their service unprofessional, their staff less than knowledgeable, and will be taking my vehicle elsewhere for a second opinion. read more

Do not bring your car here. They failed my car for inspection because they said my tires were balding. They almost simultaneously gave me prices for new tires. Their price was thru the roof and I left saying I'd shop around for a better price. In the meantime I went to two more autobody shops and asked what they thought of my tires. The owners at those locations both explained to me the same thing and said my tires had at least another year in them before failing and that they would "drive to Texas and back" on these tires. They both agreed that I should not have gotten a rejection sticker. I coughed up another $35 and went somewhere else and PASSED my inspection without making any changes to my car or tires!!!
