When I first walked in, the woman at the front desk rolled her eyes, was cold, and spoke to me in a condescending and dismissive tone. I went back out to my car to get the information she needed, thinking perhaps I had simply caught her at a bad moment. When I returned, I was met with the same cold, dismissive attitude while she took my contact information. I was already dealing with a stressful car situation, and instead of feeling welcomed or helped, I was made to feel as though I was bothering her simply by coming in for a service their business provides. At that point, I finally said, "That's okay, I'll go somewhere else," and left. I can't comment on the quality of their mechanical work because I never gave them the opportunity to work on my vehicle. What I can comment on is how I was treated as a potential customer. Customer service matters. People walking into an auto repair shop may already be stressed, worried about whether their car is safe, and concerned about how much everything is going to cost. There is absolutely no reason to greet a customer with eye-rolling and a condescending attitude--especially someone who is simply asking for help and trying to understand the process. I came in prepared to give a local business my money. Instead, their customer service sent me directly out the door. There are plenty of other repair shops in the area where customers can be treated with basic courtesy and respect. That's where I'll be taking my business.

While they were doing an oil change after the inspection, I was told that my inner and outer tie rods needed to be replaced. I was also told I needed two new tires and an alignment. I decided not to have those repairs done there and left. I then went elsewhere and purchased four brand-new tires. After replacing all four tires--the item my inspection report specifically listed as the reason for rejection--I returned to this shop for the reinspection and a passing sticker. That is when I was told they would not pass my car unless I also replaced the tie rods. This was extremely concerning to me because their own original inspection report had already marked both Front End and Steering & Suspension as PASS. The documented reason my vehicle was rejected was the tires, and I had replaced all four of them. I have no problem paying for repairs that my vehicle genuinely needs. If something is unsafe, I want it repaired. What I have a serious problem with is being told that an additional repair is required for my vehicle to pass when the shop's own inspection paperwork shows that area of the vehicle passed the original inspection. If you bring your vehicle here for an inspection, my advice is simple: keep your inspection report, read every line of it, get additional repair recommendations in writing, and get a second opinion before authorizing expensive work. An automotive shop depends on customers trusting that recommended repairs are genuinely necessary. After this experience, that trust was completely gone for me. I will never bring my vehicle back here.

My car was returned to me with a rejection sticky, dirty with oil hand prints on the outside and with an oily/greasy mess inside the vehicle. The interior was left in a condition where I now feel I need to pay for a professional detailing just to get my own car back to an acceptable condition. There were also basic services I expected to be completed that were not. My gas tank was not even half filled, and an oil change not performed. If im paying $3 grand come on... Instead, I was left with a dirty, oily interior that needs detailing and serious questions about the safety of my vehicle. My recommendation to anyone using this business: DO NOT GO HERE.

I drove into Nice Car Care's shop at 5:15 PM thinking if I'm lucky I could drop off the damaged tire and pick it up in a day or so. Instead, Jim asked if I wanted to wait. He repaired the flat, pulled the Outback onto a lift, and put the repaired tire on all within 15 minutes at the end of the day probably after closing time.
