I have been doing business with Zippy's Auto for over twenty years. Over that time, I have had all the work done on my cars done by them, and I have bought three cars from them. Every single experience with Zippy's Auto has been a positive one. I first went there for oil changes because their location at that time in Lonsdale was close to my house in Valley Falls. When they moved to Cumberland Hill, I followed them, and again went they moved to their current location in Woonsocket. It's a twenty-minute drive to get there with many reputable service stations in between, but I would never go anywhere else. I trust and rely on Omar, who runs the shop, as much as I would one of my own brothers. I am confident that he and his team will always make the correct diagnosis and decisions, and that the prices will always be fair. Stopped in to ask when an inspection could be done for my car and I was asked if I had time that they would do right away, as my car was in the body shop for 3 1/2 weeks the inspection was over due. Horrible mechanics and very rude owner. After spending $800 to repair my car (plus $400 in car rentals). and After going back and forth, breaking down and returning the car, they could not isolate what turned out to be very simple problem (fixed by a skilled mechanic) and basically shoved the car back at me, wiping their hands of it and telling me basically by their body language that I'm on my own. Just discovered this place...love it. I was told by another local mechanic that my engine (overheating) was beyond repair. Out of desperation I went to Zippy's. within an hour they found out it was just a bad water pump and fixed it that day. I've been back two more times and the service is great and the prices average.
