I left work early today because I was planning on swinging by on my way home so that I could pick up a 12V, sealed lead acid battery to replace a dead battery in a computer UPS (uninterruptible power supply). I arrived about 3:45 and the door was locked. An employee came to the door to tell me that they were closed because of the need to do end-of-the-month inventory and bookkeeping. Okay, I understand that, but shouldn't you do that after your posted closing time? Anyway, the employee suggested that I could visit their Auburn location tomorrow. Their Saturday hours are 9AM to noon. Well, that's not very convenient, especially since Auburn is about a 40 minute drive for me. It would be one thing if I had other business in the area, but... Looks like I'll either have to go to Batteries+Bulbs in Marlboro to get what I need or see if I can order one online. God, I miss RadioShack. Anyway, my friends, this is a great example of how not to run a retail business.

They do much more than audio, too. They also installed my dash cam, trailer hitch, front bull bar, and lights, and everything works exactly as it should. They installed sound deadening in the doors as well, and the difference is huge -- the CR-V is so much quieter on the highway now. The system sounds fantastic. Before I could enter the store, the salesmen locked the door on me and said sorry it's 6pm. I pointed to the clock on my phone to show him I had a few minutes left to make my purchase and pleaded with him to make an exception because it was dark and needed the bulb to drive home. If this is exceptional service, it definitely fell short. I don't normally write complaints or bad experiences but this is just unacceptable and they lost a sale.
