I do NOT recommend Imperial to anyone. They've been servicing my Elantra for 16 weeks and still cannot fix it, and they even created new problems and now want me to pay! I initially brought my vehicle in to repair issues with starting, and now they've created a transmission problem that didn't exist when I brought them the vehicle. Understandably I JUST hit 103k miles so the car isn't brand new, but it's so weird that as soon as my 100k warranty expired my car starts falling apart while at the dealership. They've had my vehicle in their shop for 4 consecutive months now starting July 12th, prior to which I brought them my vehicle 3 times with a check-engine light and ONLY an occasional issue with starting, and they were unable to find a diagnostic code so they told me to keep driving it, after 3 test! Come July 12th, the 4th attempt to fix my only issue of occasionally not starting, they finally found a code and replaced my ECM. They gave me the keys back weeks later and said "I can guarantee your car is fixed." I drove out of the parking lot, picked up food at Panera Bread 1 mile away, and my car wouldn't start! Wasn't fixed at all. So I brought it back the next day, they found ANOTHER error code, ordered parts and replaced a crankshaft position sensor. I picked up my car on Monday Sept. 28th with them AGAIN guaranteeing my car was fixed, and drove straight to the Natick Mall, but after stopping at the first red light on Rt. 9, the transmission started kicking between gears (Automatic transmission), instant whiplash like we were in a car accident scaring myself and my step-daughter, with a check-engine light flashing like a Christmas tree. Virtually un-drivable. It became apparent that after 5 attempts to fix a simple starter issue, they could not resolve anything and created a HUGE transmission problem! So I immediately brought my Elantra back on the same day to Imperial Hyundai, Sept. 28th, and their service manager Brian assured me they would fix the issue AND pay for it. After 3 weeks they didn't even call me, so I called them only to find out their manager quit, they ran a diagnostic test on Oct. 7th and found a new code, then the technician went on vacation for a few weeks and they forgot to call me! On Oct. 23rd, after complaining to Imperial in Mendon, their head service manager Mr. Walsh called me, told me all of this, stating that he should have been made aware of my situation months ago but was never properly informed. He apologized for the huge unnecessary delay, and he refused to accept accountability for the new issue that magically developed while my vehicle was in their hands for 4 months and now demands I pay for repairs or I will have to tow my car to another mechanic! Unbelievable. Mr. Walsh also assured me that they wrote a "letter of good faith" to Hyundai in hopes they will pay to fix the newest issue and replace my wiring harness, but Hyundai Corporate states there is no record of such denial. Looks like I will have to tow my vehicle to another shop, pay 3k in repairs, and then chase Imperial for retribution. I'm writing this in hopes that no one ever has to go through 4 months of headaches and problems with Imperial, and that hopefully they can own up to their mistakes and actually provide fair and honest customer service. I originally only intended to visit Imperial Cars to see how much they would offer me for my car as they purchase cars even if you don't buy theirs. I ended up walking away from the lot with my eyes on a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland. I will be honest, I hate care buying, the stress, the pressure, the pushy salesman stereotypes etc...I could not sleep for many nights. So I came across dealerrater.com and was a great website, similar to yelp.com but geared/focused on dealer reviews, and educated me on the best dealers to shop around. To my surprised, there was Imperial Cars - where I had just been. I saw great reviews on them, and on David Boratyn, and I knew then he would be the guy I would ask for. Like on another review below, the car I was interested was actually parked by the service shop, so I had no idea if it was available. I called David, while I was on the phone, he physically went to check the car to make sure it was available, and still for sale, and even though that day was his early day, he waited 1.5hrs (after his shift ended) for me to arrive, plus another 1.5hrs to review and test drive the vehicle. I won't forget the smiles!! he welcomed me with a cheerful, professional, genuine smile. Right off the bat, he was super professional, super calm, patient, he LISTENED, and thoroughly and patiently walked me through the entire car. He was not pushy, he was not rushing me even tho I had made him stay late, and asked tons of questions. My car buying experience completely turned a 360! Every single question was answered, he was super attentive, and even met me half way to exchange cars on the final day. Oh yes! and did I mentioned he walked me through all the options my cars has AGAIN, and calmly took his time and went through each option (and there are tons! my car is loaded) until I was comfortable. I highly recommend David, he is the antithesis of the typical car salesman. Pleasure working with him!! I am truly enjoying my new ride!!!! I recently purchased a Ram 1500 Laramie from Imperial. Imperial was the only dealer around that had a large selection of trucks to choose from so I decided to drive a bit further from home than I have in the past. It was well worth the trip and I was very fortunate to be greeted by Andy Clair when I arrived. Andy's service was outstanding throughout the entire process. He reviewed the entire inventory of 1500s and thoroughly explained the different options that were available. After narrowing down my choices, we test drove one and Andy came along for the ride to explain the different features of the truck. When we returned to the dealership, Andy walked me around the lot to look at the other available trucks that I was interested in so I could compare the features. Once we settled on the truck I wanted, Andy walked me through several financing options and tried to get me in to see a Business Manger but the dealership was very busy and I could not wait for a manager to free up so I told Andy I would come back tomorrow. There was no pressure applied from Andy for me to stay and I did not hear the typical "The car won't be available tomorrow if you don't deal today" that I have from most car salesman I've worked with. Instead, Andy told me he would move the truck to back of the lot and wait for me to return the next day. I did and a Business Manager was waiting for me to finalize the purchase. They even delivered the truck to my house the next day so I didn't have to make a third trip back to pick it up. Lastly, when I was having a problem figuring out how to open the tonneau cover, I called Andy and he tried to walk me through it. When I was still having difficulty figuring it out, Andy offered to stop by my house on his way home to help me. I've purchased a lot of new vehicles in my life and I have to say my experience with Andy Clair and Imperial was my best yet. read more

I recently purchased a new 2016 Jeep Wrangler from Imperial and although I rarely review any establishment, I had such a great experience during the purchasing process I felt obligated to share it here. This is my 4th vehicle purchase and by far the best overall experience. I did my due diligence in searching out pricing between some local Jeep dealers and found "the one" I wanted here and for the lowest price. Because I reached out via email prior to coming to the lot, I had a salesman, Ed Kelly, expecting my arrival on a snowy Sunday. Which, by the way, upon entering the show room I had the door opened for me and was pleasantly greeted by other salesman and escorted to Ed's desk. Ed sat down with me, reviewed what I was looking for and gave me very straightforward remarks on different models. I was instantly comfortable and relieved that he was my salesman as the typical car salesman stereotype was erased within the first few minutes of our conversation. He had a couple vehicles ready for me to test drive and quickly had my trade in appraised. I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of, being a female that has happened in the past at dealerships. As far as salesman, Ed has my loyalty for as long as he works there. The financing process was not at all what I have been accustomed to either. I've spent over three hours in financing in the past and the total paperwork/finance process here was about an hour. Again, all the add-ons/options were explained to me but not pushed on me and Rami Awad was very entertaining during a dull process! I was also approached by one of the managers to check in and see how the sales team was doing and to ensure I was happy with my experience. I'm not one to write reviews. Not because I don't have opinions, but because generally I don't have the time. But my experience this week at Imperial Chrysler compelled me to write about my experience. I walked into the dealership believing I probably couldn't by a car. I have had some credit challenges. I was promptly greeted by Andy Clair. He welcomed me to the dealership and asked if I needed any help. I told him that I was looking for a car. Andy was working with another customer at the time so he introduced me to Gill Debor. At this point I lost all hope as Gill looks like he is about 12 years old. Wow was I wrong. I was a little embarrassed to explain my situation, but Gill immediately put me at ease. He listened to me intently, asked questions that I wouldn't have even though to consider, and most impressively he took notes about what was important to me in a new vehicle. After listening to my situation Gill explained to me what types of vehicles would put me in the best position to get a bank approval for my loan. I had never considered a newer vehicle. I thought a 2012 would be out of my payment range, but he explained how a newer vehicle is more appealing to the bank. He found me a beautiful Chrysler 200 that exceeded my expectations and made sure that the payment would be in my budget. Gill then introduced me to Mike Walsh who handled the final bank paperwork. Mike was very patient with me explaining the benefits and liabilities of the different payments and terms. Ultimately I took a little bit higher payment then I wanted, but for an extra $ 22.00 a month in payment I was able to save 12 months off the loan and save $ 3,600 in the long run. Luis Allende. This is the only name that you need to know when going to purchase a car from Imperial Chrysler. I want to be clear. I do not enjoy car shopping; I find the process difficult and often stressful. Car buying remains a holdout for on haggling and meeting for what both sides feel is a fair price. That said, my recent purchase from Imperial Chrysler in the care of Luis Allende, was the finest car buying experience of my life. From the moment that Luis shook my hand and met with me through the moment that I said good-bye to my previous vehicle of 13 years and hello to my new Dodge Journey, I felt respected. Luis answered my questions forthrightly. He presented facts explained the transition that the brand went through and alerted me to information that made the experience far simpler and I will say - enjoyable. Imperial Cars, in the little town of Medway, has a great and well-deserved reputation. With employees like Luis, it is clear why they have earned this reputation and the repeat business of so many over the years. Recently I went to Imperial Chrysler in Mendon, Ma to check out some vehicles I had seen advertised online. As I started walking the lot to find the vehicle I was interested in, I met a salesman who introduced himself to me as Ahmed. He offered to walk me through the inventory , and we test drove some different models of the Dodge that I was interested in. I could not make up my mind on any at this point and thanked Ahmed for spending over 2 hours with me and showing me all the different models. I explained that I had to go home and discuss it with my wife. At this time he offered to let me drive the car home so that my wife me take a look at it. I told him I appreciated the offer but I did not want to do it that night. he finally told me no problem and no pressure, but the offer stands for whenever I would like to. Before I left he said if I had a second he would like to show me one more car, and this one really appealed to me. I took him up on his offer at that time, and drove the car to my wife. I returned after about two hours . I returned almost at closing time and he was still there. He was genuine in his transaction and patient. I told him my wife and kids loved it, within the next couple of days we finalized the deal . Went to Imperial Jeep looking to check out one I saw online . After several minutes going up and down lanes someone asked if they could help . We explained what we were looking for he says let me check . Comes back few minutes later says can't locate must be sold . Try's to offer others but not what I wanted or not in range wanted to pay. Very bummed was ready to just leave but my brother in law says let just check with someone inside, then if nothing we'll leave. We make our way to the inside and see if someone else may be able to check on it . Tommy Rizzitano sales consultant came over asked if he could help . We explained situation and he jumped right on it. After about 20 minutes he came back located what I was looking for. Happy me since I was ready to leave disappointed. We sat down and went over numbers was pleased with his assistance and awesome customer service. Constantly asking if need a drink or anything while working the process to get my new jeep. He then brought me over to Ahmad Al-Jallad the finance manager to proceed with the sale of the car. He also was amazing. Very friendly and explained whole financial end of it along with warranty benefits. The process was lengthy but in the end I went away a happy customer with the jeep I wanted. I walked into the dealership knowing exactly what I wanted and Khalil was a tremendous help in getting it. A day later I walked out a Jeep owner. He was easygoing, not pushy whatsoever about buying, handed me a set of keys and said go check it out. I never once felt pressured like I had to buy even if I didn't want to. I loved that he didn't sugarcoat anything once we got to filling out all the dreaded paperwork. He was confident I would be able to get the car even when I wasn't which made me feel like he really did his best to get me a good deal and he's clearly been doing this for quite some time. David in the finance department was also spectacular. He tried multiple different avenues to make the payments work for what I was willing to pay. I didn't see anyone in this dealership who was just looking to make a sale and get a commission, but more so, actual people who cared about their customers and were willing to go to work to make the deal happen. Sometimes it's intimidating walking into a dealership especially being a young woman and cars not being my specialty, but not once did I feel as though I was incapable or felt intimidated during the entire process. I recently purchased a Jeep Cherokee at Imperial. I had a few cars in mind when I began my search, and I was not in a hurry to get a car. I wanted to be sure to make the right decision and find the car that fit my needs and my budget. Al Antolini was our salesperson. He was patient and professional. He listened to me and assured me that he would find the perfect fit. He wanted me to be happy with my purchase. Al showed me different models that he thought I would like.Since I was not in dire need of a car immediately, Al said he would do his homework and get back to me. A few days later, he called me with some options. He had found the perfect fit for me! When it was time for me to pick up the car, Al spent a lot of time with me going over all that I needed to know. Again, he was patient and professional. Al was as happy as I was regarding my selection. I highly recommend him for his personal approach to this decision. Was referred to see Joel at Imperial Jeep back before Christmas. Was in the market for a Jeep Wrangler Sport S used. They had a wide selection of vehicles in their lot all different models and colors. It was freezing and Joel took his time to show us around the lot and look at all of the Jeeps. They have a great showroom, waiting area, and even an awesome Diner to grab some food while you wait. After mentioning the options I wanted and negotiating prices, we decided to go ahead and order a 2017 Firecracker Red JK Sport S instead! From the time we left the dealership Joel had me updated with every step of the shipping and arrival process. It took about 5 weeks for the Jeep to arrive, got the paperwork/$$ taken care of within a few hours, and picked the Jeep up to enjoy for the weekend before we got snow! Joel was fantastic, answering any questions I had promptly and putting up with me being difficult lol I'm glad I purchased my Jeep at Imperial, I went to a few other dealerships and had poor experiences and felt rushed. I will be going back to get work done on my Jeep through their maintenance department in the near future. read more

OK - this is more informative rather a review of Imperial Chrysler Dodge Jeep. In August of 2014 I purchased a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Imperial. During the purchase process, I considered a lease rather than loan because I was only interested in keeping the Jeep for 3 years. I preface the following by saying I've leased 2 vehicles before, and I have full knowledge of the lease process. The Finance Manager prepared a quote thru Ally Financial, I questioned the lease amount, because it appeared to be inaccurate, (I had an excel file that did the same calculation). After the FM met with the Sales Manager, they realized there was a $2,000 charge buried in Ally's lease program. They seemed to be very embarressed that it was there, and immediately removed it. This concerned me that not all consumers would be aware of this additional charge, and how many customers had leased vehicles with this charge. I should have posted this notice long ago, and hope that anyone who leased vehicles with Ally prior to August 2014 review their documents to make sure they weren't overpaying. read more

This lot is massive with a ton of vehicles to choose from. I was initially approached by Mike G., who was friendly, honest, and laid-back. He didn't hesitate to let me know when certain vehicles were "overrated" or "just not worth it." A lot of dealerships in the area are a bit overzealous and invasive when you show up. Mike was helpful and glad to show me and my family around prior to letting us review the entire lot on our own. It was a low pressure situation which made it easy to find and purchase my new car. Omar helped me work out my financing plan and finalized the deal. Like Mike, he had a great sense of humor and made sitting in his office for an hour feel like fifteen minutes. There are definitely some good people over at Imperial, I'd recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a new or used vehicle. Worth noting: there were a few vehicles on their website I planned to check out when I got there. They were gone upon arrival. The best deals within their used inventory definitely move fast. read more

I had 2 vehicles that were not good to be driving my children around in the cold weather with. I went to imperial to look around and see what my options were. They were great not only were they able to help me with the car I was still paying off and not able to drive Russell was even able to help me find a vehicle with everything I was looking for and in my budget. Russell went above and beyond for me and my children be even came in on his day off to help me because he didn't want me to just settle with a vehicle I wasn't happy with like I have in the past. I am very happy with my new car and my kids love it to and anyone I know who is looking for a new vehicle I will definitely recommend imperial and I also suggest asking for Russell he definitely goes above and beyond for his customers. A few points. First, I am a cynic. Must be the small business ower trait I received from my Dad. That being said, I write reviews to complain, not praise. Well, here is one of praise. I Bought my wife's car at Imperial a couple years ago. There was a "he said-she said" situation where I was told I would receive something, but didn't. The salesman was incorrect, but it was a "too bad" type scenario. I emailed the owner (Marty Meehan) and complained. HE was the one who called me back. NOT an employee, but the actual owner. He rectified the situation as we came to a more than fair scenario. So, I went from never on planning to buy another car there, to buying another one Friday night. Everyone was great. Karyn in finance was knowledgeable, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with as well as the salesman (Jon) and the manager (JP). Highly recommend the Jeep Grand Cherokee as well!!!! read more

I purchased my Ram 1500 in 2019 and truly love it! This post is more about a recent service experience. I recently found the I had a leak into the ceiling on my truck cabin and called the service team. Mike, one of the service managers, was fantastic! He was able to get me an appointment immediately and was able to figure out the problem efficiently. Unfortunately I need my entire rear window replaced, but under warranty. Mike was honest with timeline and willing to help along the way with any of my needs. He made sure I had a rental car without hesitation. He kept me updated regularly and made sure that the job was done to its entirety. When I finally went to pick up my truck, Mike helped me look at everything. He helped make sure that everything was done and that it was done to my satisfaction. I have nothing but good things to say about Mike and the service team. Thanks again! read more

I stopped in on a Sunday in early June looking to replace my 2015 Dodge Durango Citadel with a new 2019 Ram 1500 Laramie. Test drove the new Ram 1500 (fantastic truck!) I always do my homework before visiting a dealership as to the price of my trade and what I want to pay for a new car. I had concrete numbers before I stepped in the door. I worked with JP Carlo who was awesome! We negotiated an extremely fair price for the truck with the color and options I wanted. They did not have it on the lot so he ordered it. They also gave me the best price on my trade-in (Durango). They placed my order on June 6, 2018 and my new truck arrived as promised on July 23, 2018. I dealt with the General Manager Mike Penner.
