    2022 Chevy Equinox

Paul was very helpful and informative! Very happy with this whole experience. My dad has been coming for years and I would very much recommend as well.

Imperial chevrolet at first glance is a beautiful dealership with a lot of inventory. I had found a truck that I liked and wanted to purchase but the overall experience dealing with the sales manager Brad and salesmen Lukas was horrible. When I first came to this dealership I met Lukas and we talked about trading my truck. I had told Lukas about the fact that my truck was heavily modified and I gave him my vin and pictures so he could give me a trade in value on my truck. The first offer he gave me was too low for me so I chose to post my vehicle on facebook and try to sell it privately. During that time I filed a credit application because I was seriously interested in buying their 2024 denali duramax which I now own. 2-3 days later I received a call from a finance manager named Omar. He asked me what the hold up was and I said I was waiting to sell my truck privately because their trade offer for my old truck was too low. I then told Omar that I would trade my truck but id have to get a better offer. I followed that with saying that I still have factory parts for my truck hoping that might make a difference. I also mentioned to him that the only problem was that the factory exhaust was cut. Omar then said alright and that if drive down to the dealership with all my factory parts and everything checks out we can work out a deal and the dealership will cover the cost to put the truck back to stock. After that conversation with Omar, Lukas reached out through text and we started negotiating a new deal. On Friday April 25th 2025 I drove down to imperial chevrolet with all my factory parts in my truck bed. Salesman Lukas and a couple service techs came outside, looked at the bed of my truck where all of my factory parts were and said that everything was good. I then said to Lukas "since you guys are going to put my truck back to stock can I get my after market parts back?" Lukas said yes. I also have proof in text with Lukas that id be getting my aftermarket parts back. We go inside and I purchase my new truck under the impression I was going to get my parts back which I have the receipts for. I had around $8k in aftermarkets parts installed on my trade that would be taken off the truck since they wouldn't work with the truck in stock form. Anyways, I drive home in my new truck and the following day I text Lukas to double down and make sure I'm getting my parts back. He said yes and that the the techs wont be touching my trade in until Monday at the soonest. Over the next 2 weeks I try to reach out and get in touch with anyone I can to get an update on when I can get my stuff back. I called and text Lukas but I couldn't get a solid answer for anything. I even emailed the sales manager Brad and he didn't respond. It got to a point where the lack of communication was so bad I took things into my own hands and drove down to the dealership to confront them and figure out what was going on. Sales manager Brad didn't even know about the agreement I made with the salesman Lukas about the parts when we brought it up to him. Brad asked Lukas "was that part of the deal you made with them?" Lukas said yes. Brad then went out back and had the technicians look at my trade in truck, saw the cut factory exhaust and then started trying to back pedal his way out of a deal the salesman made with me. Saying he wont give me my aftermarket parts back because the factory exhaust is cut. Clearly there is poor communication between employees and management at imperial chevrolet. The deal was already made though. I came to imperial chevrolet with the intent to create a relationship where I would be a returning customer over the future years but not holding up on their end of a deal is not a professional way to go about business. I messaged Brad informing him that I would be writing a review and his response was very immature. Hopefully they can amend this situation for me before I reach out to a state attorney.I have receipts and proof of everything.

Michael Chlus This was the fastest and easiest car purchase I have ever experienced. Keith and Ahmed were very knowledgeable about the Lexus I was buying. I already came in with my "car salesman" filter, but I didn't feel like they were trying to "sell" me on anything making me very comfortable. I've enjoyed doing business here .Pricing on the car and trade in was fair, and I left with a great deal on my new (used) car. I will go back here again because of the excellent customer service and high quality vehicles. Thanks Keith and Ahmed.

Clowns couldn't replace a GM vehicle's oem headlight with another oem headlight. First, they ordered the wrong part. Once they finally got the right part, they installed it horribly. The light isn't the correct shade (yellow instead of white), the light makes a grinding sound when adapting, and there is water in the light. The first two were obvious and were noticed at the shop- they just didn't care. It is frustrating when hard working Americans have to deal with those in professions where cutting corners is modus operandi.

    Vin check proving salesman lies.

My experiene with Imperial . . . If I could give no stars I would. Called to see if car we saw on the internet was available spoke with Shannon who confirmed availability in 2 systems, and made appointment for the next day. Called again morning of appointment and spoke to "the internet sales manager" to make sure car was still available. Said we would be coming from 2 hours away with car to trade and cash in hand to buy car. Was told the car had been there for a while, and not to worry about anything. We would be able to buy it and drive away the same day. Dealership would call if there was any problems. Leave work early to go to dealership. Have my 64 year old mom clean out her car because we were buying her a new one as a gift. Drive the two hours with my mom in one car (to trade) and my husband in our car to the dealership. Upon arrival, greated by "Eric" and we are told that the car we had an appointment for has been deemed "unsafe" by the mechanics and is no longer for sale. (So, it was not checked before it was put on sale?) Ask to speak to the manager who says they have no control over what the internet department told us, that the internet department is a week behind the dealership, and that he did not know about our appointment because he never received an email from the internet department. (Funny because the salesman did . . . ) Asked him why the sales man knew and he didn't and his words were "I do not know what the salesmen know" Ok? In the meantime, salesman Eric decides to go help other customers. Manager (Aaron?) sends us to another sales guy (Mo) who tells us they have plenty of cars in out price range. Goes over budget with us, and sits us in a car to drive us around to the three dealerships. Shows us a car with Rejection sticker on it and tells us it just arrived today (VIN check reveals that they have had the car since February, see photo) and that he does not know why it's at the repair shop. Shows us another car that had obvious front end damage and tells us it's above our price range. Tells us it has not been through service and that he may not be able to sell it to us. Shows us an SUV when we say we were specifically looking for a sedan. Shows us a rusty car with oxidized headlights. We ask to test drive the car with the cracked bumper. Salesman dissappears for 1/2 hour. Never comes back with the car. We leave dissatisfied and disappointed. We had bought a brand new car from here a couple years back and had a great experience. Something obviously has happened since then because their customer service has gone out the window, and they believe that it is ok to lie to customers. Never again :(

Both vehicles purchased from imperial. Them trying to deliver the terrain with a rejection sticker.

As someone who works in the automotive space, buying a car was honestly the last thing I felt like…read moredoing this month. I have plenty of manufacturer connections on the West Coast, but here in Boston, I really didn't know who to call other than my friend Ernie Boch Jr. Now, considering Ernie uses Ferraris and Lamborghinis as daily drivers, I wasn't exactly expecting him to become my Toyota referral source. But when I asked him where I could go for a straightforward, professional experience without the usual dealership run-around, his answer was immediate: "Go see Imperial Toyota. They're awesome." Boy, was he right. I recently purchased a new Highlander Hybrid from Imperial Toyota, and the experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Imperial is clearly selling a lot of vehicles, but not once during the process did I feel like just another customer. Everyone I worked with took the time to make sure things were handled properly, communicated clearly, and followed through on every detail. Michael Penner, Bob Baillargeon, Doug Prew, and Hany Arian all worked together seamlessly, but I especially want to recognize Doug Prew for truly going above and beyond. Doug's attention to detail was unmatched. From the first walk-through of the vehicle to patiently explaining all of the technology and features, he made sure I understood everything and felt completely comfortable before leaving the dealership. Nothing ever felt rushed or overly sales-driven. You could tell he genuinely cared about delivering a great experience, not just completing a transaction. Hany Arian also made the financing process smooth, professional, and straightforward, which I really appreciated. What stood out most to me was the consistency and professionalism of the entire team. That usually says a lot about the culture of an organization. The Highlander Hybrid itself has been fantastic, but the experience surrounding the purchase is what really left the lasting impression. My sincere thanks to everyone at Imperial Toyota for making this such a thoughtful, professional, and first-class experience.

I found personal items in the car (wallet, Apple CarPlay cable, paperwork), which the salesperson said belonged to the other staff member when I asked. Advertised features on their website, such as wheel locks, were not included. The online listing was misleading: the "Buy For" price effectively adds $1,000 if you do not have a trade‑in; in small print it states a $1,000 trade‑in bonus is included in the sale price while dealer fees are not. The salesperson sent the front‑desk receptionist I met earlier instead of a manager, saying they could not drop the price because another customer was ready to buy it with a trade‑in; I stood up to leave, then the manager came and said they would give me the advertised price. If you wonder why they sold me the vehicle instead of the other customer with a trade‑in (who would have generated more profit), it is because no one else was actually looking at the vehicle. During paperwork the finance manager added a $215 Protection Plus charge I never authorized or signed for and pressured me to purchase a $2,900 warranty, even making an unprofessional remark when I declined: "I will let you make that mistake." I made a second trip to the dealership and they removed that charge because it violates Chapter 93A of the Massachusetts General Laws. The overall lack of transparency and professionalism left me feeling scammed, deeply disappointed, and deceived. A few months ago I bought the same make and model from a Subaru dealership and the experience was the opposite: I was treated with respect, the online price matched the in‑person price (aside from disclosed dealer fees), and there were no hidden fees or games. Prospective buyers should verify advertised features and review every line of paperwork before signing.

I explained that I had received it, but it was about 15 minutes long and I wasn't planning to spend that much time on it. The representative then offered an incentive, my choice of a free car detail or a free oil change if I completed the survey. It felt like they were trying to hit an end-of-month or quarterly quota. Which is fine, we all have quotas to hit. I'm always skeptical of "free" offers, so I asked how I would redeem the oil change. Based on past experiences, this dealership hasn't been great at following through on promises. I also clarified that while the car is for my daughter, everything is under my name. The advisor assured me that once she saw the completed survey, she would email me with the details later that day. Since I was commuting home on the train, I went ahead and completed the survey. Free oil change, why not. The next day, I called and left a message saying I had completed it. The following day, I followed up again and sent an email with the same update. By Thursday, after no response, I called again and left a message expressing my frustration and telling them to keep the "free" oil change. At that point, it felt like I was chasing/begging for something that had been promised to me, which is unacceptable and just not cool To anyone considering this dealership: if they promise you anything, get it in writing. Based on my experience, I would not rely on verbal commitments. Also, I want to add. The last time I was there for an oil change was because they sent an email offer with the special price. It was difficult to get them to honor their own special from their website. Ridiculous I will say that Wassim Kafal, the General Manager, was great to work with. Very professional, down-to-earth, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, as the GM, he's not someone you're likely to interact with unless you're closing a deal or escalating an issue. As he has a dealership to run which is understandable.
