My console unit radio, temp, GPS in my car blew out in my Lincoln. Ron who I believe is the owner couldn't have been nicer. Unfortunately, they could not fix the problem and I had to go to the dealer, but Ron waved the $75 and felt bad that they could not do it as it was a proprietary Lincoln problem. This class and I don't let hesitate to return! read more

My Experience: misinformed on quote and availability, then ordered a wrong component, thereafter, updcharged for misdiagnosing system compatibility...lastly picked up vehicle in complete disarray without any regard/accountability. Stay with your vehicle or go somewhere else! read more

Was having an issue with my motorcycle radio. Ron tackled it and found a solution! Awesome company they have over there!

Went there looking for audio equipment for a friends car, an amazing gentleman named Ron was so helpful and kind and ended up helping us two separate times today. My friend ended up purchasing an entire car audio setup and ended up getting a great deal on it with an excellent selection of really nice products. I would 100% recommend this business to anyone, they're really accommodating and respectful to customers, they went above and beyond for us. read more

Unbelievable experience! Went to get some remote start fobs replaced and got treated with some great friendly customer service. They even knew what they were doing! I don't live near this place e but I'm definitely going back there if I ever need anything they handle again. read more

Excellent place.,I had them install a backup camera 9-10 years ago. It started with issues... They not only were quick to schedule repair, but stood by product and fixed issue and very reasonable price. Great place for auto sound, remote starters , cameras, leather seats, other accessories .... Not many places that offer this type of professionalism. I won't go anywhere else now. They also installed back up lighting for me ... I only wish they add more install options for more equipment. My next auto sound system... will be done with them. read more

I had a problem with the security system in my Ford. it was very unpredictable and extremely frustrating in that I never knew how long it would take to start the vehicle. Sometimes it would start right up, other times it could take 5 minutes or more. I just wanted it disabled/removed so I took the car to a local car alarm service center. They were unable to find the problem. The dealership quoted a very high price and gave no guarantees Luckily I found Auto Sound. The technician appeared to take my issue as a professional challenge. He found the problem, gave me advice as to how I could easily fix it myself, and Auto Sound did not charge me. These people are real professionals and nice. Ten stars. Thanks Greg Walpole read more

I went to Auto Sound to gave a set of JBL speakers and an amp installed in my car. We had a price figured out that day and made a appointment right then. The price was very fair as i was expecting to pay much more. They even checked other websites to make sure they were giving me a competitive price on equipment. Went the day of the appointment to have everything installed and was told shortly after that that they thought I shouldn't waste my money on the amp because my car didn't need it and that i would be better off getting a sub installed instead and it didn't come out to be much more. They were absolutely right and knew exactly what they were talking about. They did awesome work and if you didn't know any better you would not have a clue they did anything at all. I would 10/10 recommend them. Plus they are a official vendor of Alpine products. read more

10 year old Subaru sunroof shattered and flew off simply going down 495. All body shops said go see Auto Sound in Plainville. They tackled problem with professional repair/replacement and honest service with no price gouging. I would trust them again with any products or services they do. read more

They don't listen and refuse to admit or fix mistakes. I went there to get my windows tinted. When I got the car back, they had not only neglected to put one of the door panels back on, but they did a sloppy job and the rear window needed to be re-done. They tinted the front windows darker than I had asked. I brought these things to their attention and they said to bring it back next week, they would make it right. When I went back, two guys came out to look at the car. They talked over me and told me that was what I had asked for, even though it was not. First they told me I had to pay them to fix it. Then when I objected, they got aggressive and said they refused to fix it even if I paid them. I've literally never had a worse customer experience in my life. I got in my car and left. Now I have to go somewhere else to have the tint removed, and re-done correctly. read more

John did a great job on my stereo system, I recommend if you're going to get a stereo system for your vehicle Autosound is the place to go.

A few years back I had my car and my mom's autostart done here. They were great to do business with. Prices were great and service was great. I would definitely go back again read more

I just left this place and will never go back. When my father and I walked in we were immediately greeted by a really nice guy with blonde hair that was very attentive and helpful. Then he had us speak to who I can only assume is the owner or manager because the experience was totally different. I wanted to look into what it would cost to boost the sound in my new vehicle but the guy was just a jerk. when I asked questions ( cause I know nothing about this stuff) he seemed almost annoyed that I even asked a question. Maybe this guy is just so busy he can afford to treat customers this way??? I don't get it. Either way, I won't be going back and I won't be recommending this place to anyone. I even had a gift card towards the work but I'm throwing it in the trash. read more

Emailed for a price and received within 20 minutes, and answered my other questions quickly. Went in after Christmas day to put a remote starter in my wife's car and they were busy but they squeezed me in that day and had me in and out of there in an 1 1/2 hours. Installation looks professional and they did not take advantage of me. Offer lifetime warranty on remote starters for a decent price. Great customer service, would definitely recommend them and use them again! Thanks Guys! read more

Great service, I spoke with the owner's son several times before coming in to have my car set up for iPod integration. They were super helpful, and very accommodating. It was a bit pricey for installation; but the customer service made it worth it. read more

I was having trouble with my factory-installed car stereo. I went in and spoke with a man at the counter (turns out it was Peter, the owner). Asked him if it was possible for them to check the wiring to make sure it wasn't a loose connection. He said no problem - would cost about $50 and if they couldn't fix it, they would apply that fee to the installation of a new stereo. We looked at stereos and picked one out. He quoted me approx $250 so I scheduled the appointment. When I arrived for the appointment, a different employee was at the counter. He asked why I was there and I explained the situation. He said that I should never have been told that because they wouldn't be able to repair it and it didn't sound like a connection issue. I was less than pleased. When I showed him the stereo we had discussed he said it would be $350; not $250. When I asked why the difference and who was it that quoted me the price, he said it was the owner. I was furious so I left. I ended up going to Best Buy. The gentleman I spoke to was knowledgeable and told me the stereo I had picked out at Auto Sound would not have fit my dashboard. I had a new stereo installed for $230. Best deal ever! Stay away from Auto Sound. They are unprofessional, apparently don't know that much about what systems fit which cars, have no idea how to quote prices and, apparently, the staff doesn't think much of the owner! read more

So I had an alarm system put into my vehicle back in 2008 when I bought my car from boch honda. It stopped working and I found out they were the ones that worked on my vehicle for the alarm and starter. So contacted them and they help me figure something out to get this back up and running. They gave me a good deal in upgrading and buying back my old system. They were good with there time did have me and my wife waiting for long. The manager I would assume that helped us in the front desk was very helpful and courteous. My vehicle in the inside was barely touched which is something that I like to see. The less they can mess with my vehicles interior the better I can say the job has been. read more

Went in to upgrade my factory system. They quoted me a competitive price and got it installed quickly. Very easy to deal with, super nice guy up front. Thank you! read more

I had a remote start installed here. They broke pieces of my cars trim in places as they apparently didn't want to take the time to actually remove the screws that held them in place. When I told the manager about it he told me that he would replace the trim pieces that they broke but they never did. I'll never go back here again....for anything! read more

Auto Sound installed a remote start on my brand new 4runner while it was at the dealership. Something was not right with the unit when I went to pick up the car 12 days later. It just wouldn't start. Auto Sound sent a tech (Matt) to my work and replaced the unit within the same day that I called them. Matt was professional and took great care with the installation. Auto Sound will get all my future business. Robert L. read more

I dealt with these guys through patriot Subaru. They had autosound come to my house to install the remote start which was super convenient. The guy was on time, fast , thorough, friendly , and explained everything I needed to know. Remote works great thank you read more

I had an inexpensive stereo installed in my older car. They were friendly and quick. However, I quickly noticed that my headlights no longer worked. A connector was overlooked, and this was fixed. All would be well if that was the only problem. I hit a bump, and the stereo chassis came completely loose in the dash, the whole thing tipping at a crazy angle. After two trips back, the secured it, but only by using a large and ugly plastic plate right on the dashboard. To top it off, the install has rattled badly since day one. Finally, yesterday, I was able to get some indoor shop time, took things apart, and found out why. They had left several unused screws, and one unused support bracket, inside the dash area, where they sat, rattling against metal and plastic. read more

So i don't understand people sometimes. So i call and talk to John I guess the guy in Charge. I explain I want some new equipment installed suck as a new Double Din Kenwood and two new Alpine 6X9 on my doors and also my system now seems to be draining my battery. With out a question more with a cocky attitude all he says " you need a whole new system i don't do trouble shoot " no questions asked. Not much into the customer service business are ya? I have money and probably would have open to anything needed to get my system fixed but coming off the way he did seems to me they can give two shits of bringing new costumers and think their shit don't stink. How can you determine without a doubt or are not dedicated enough to ask a few questions to better help your customer or guide your customer. I can tell this dude is set in his ways and the customers he has just don't know any better. I don't review as you can see in my history but this guy is not worth bringing your hard earned money to he just want to make a quick killing on you wether you need it or not. 0 stars for customer service. read more

I'm late in writing this. Great customer service. Had a sunroof and DVD installed by dealer aftermarket by these guys. Thought the sunroof motor failed but it was an error due to the battery, they patiently showed me how to reset it and rewired the DVD because of a flukey thing that wasn't really their fault but they fixed anyway. They are great and I would go to them for audio/ video/ alarm etc without question in the future. They are professional, quick and stand behind their work. read more
