I called A to Z transmission and spoke with Tony. He actually took the time to see if it could be machined, rather than replaced.... which thankfully, it could! They repaired blown head gasket and a lot of other work my truck needed, still waay under the price to replace with a used engine. I got an estimate from the Toyota dealership and on a whim I took someone's advice and went here for a "second opinion". The oil change with two patches on two tires that had nails in them was $20 less than an oil change at the dealer! I do need new brakes and they were also far below what I was quoted at the dealership! They came up with 3 fewer problems than the dealership did as well! They were very honest and very reasonable! I wouldn't think twice about bringing my car there for anything! The only negative is they don't have any late night or Sat appointments.

Why would I bring my car back to someone that was not able to diagnose the car in the first place. Why would I take my business from the mechanic that found the problem and bring it back to Kirk's.
