Our son is attending college near Southbridge and was experiencing an oil leak on his Jetta. Our son did some research and found himself at Stebbins. He was greeted with professionalism and kindness from Frankie who then referred him to Will to look at his car. After looking at the car extensively he showed our son the possible problems with the issue. Since our son is unfamiliar with automotive repair he reached out to us to let us know that the car would need repair. Since we are 3,000 miles away we called Stebbins. Will graciously took extensive time to explain to us what he found in his troubleshooting and assured us he would take good care of our son and if there were any issues he would take his time to ensure our son was safe and all was repaired efficiently and affordable. They took excellent care of the car and our son and continue to help our son with all his automotive needs. Frankie has also gone above and beyond to educate us "Texans" on how our son's car can run safely in extreme snow/icy weather. This business is top notch and trustworthy. Come to find out it's my metal oil dipstick tube, tapping on something else metal when the engine is running. I go for my new oil change & mention it.....basically looking for an apology. The first guy without looking at it said it's rusty & happens a lot on these cars. Second guy actually looks at it & says it's metal, we couldn't have broke this. It's a 12yr old expedition that I do the maintenance myself, just not oil changes.....so I know the truck well. Be careful......they'll break something on your car, won't say anything. Before they look at it, says it's rusty. Have another guy look at it & say we couldn't have done this. Everything but an apology & a discounted oil change. Once in my car, the whole computer system was dinging and buzzing. They did not reset my system and it was giving me warnings for almost every part of the car!! I will never go back. Typical treatment of a single woman. Overcharge, with a very lame explanation. "Our batteries are much better than WalMart batteries." Also, the mechanic had to have seen that he messed up my whole computer system as he drove it out of the garage!! Very unprofessional.
