It was our experience that they were down to earth, responsive to our telephone calls and overall trustworthy when interfacing with the customer, however something has changed dramatically and they do not return telephone calls no matter how many times you call them. Initially, I was patient because my calls were made around July 4, however I lost patience when I called more than five times over a period of three weeks and they never returned a call. In several conversations with other motorcyclists, I learned that that has been a drastic change in Barnstorm. It is perceived they are custom shop, at this time but they do not communicate that to the public. While I received an apology as a result of this poor review, Nothing changed!

Later, I took my motorcycle in for repairs; they installed an old, poorly refurbished fairing and replaced parts that didn't need replacing--solely to charge more against my insurance--and they never returned the original parts to me. In the end, I was left without my original parts and with defective ones installed in their place. Furthermore, the decal for the fairing was never applied. Some of the parts I selected were cheaper than the original ones, and they pocketed that price difference as well.

At the end of the weekend, I gassed up the bike early in the AM, and planned to make the trip home to Seattle in a single shot. Unfortunately, my bike wouldn't start. For the next hour or so, I tried everything I knew to try to get the bike to start. I suspected that some microswitch on some component of the bike that was supposed to signal the A-ok to start was broken, but had no clue how to figure out how to get home. After thinking through all of the plans, A-Z, I decided to call a dealer on the east coast (who might be open at 7:00AM Idaho time), to see if anyone might be able to provide field advice. A service guy at my dealer in Seattle had mentioned the great work that Rob Swartz was doing for Motus owners since the Motus company had gone out of business, so I gave his number a try. Rob picked up on the first ring, and after listening to my sob story, went over to a bike that he had in the shop, turned it on, and walked my through the screens I need to navigate in order to check the various microswitches on the bike. By doing this, we identified the culprit, the clutch microswitch. Since I wasn't going to find a replacement on the road, Rob suggested cutting the wires and closing the connection manually. When I tried this, the bike started immediately, raising my spirits as well as my expectations for getting back home in one piece with my bike. After arriving home in Seattle, I received a call the next day. It was Rob, calling to see if the fix had worked, and I'd made it home safely. Wow, there was nothing in this entire exchange for Rob, but he helped me through a stressful field fix, and took the time to follow up the next day to hear how things had gone. I will be looking hard for excuses to buy parts and expertise from Rob in the future. I would love to see him save Motus as well if it is in the cards, and can't imagine a stronger evangelist for the brand. Anyone on a Motus should check out Motus of New England!

Sent my raptor 660 there due to spitting and spuddering when on the throttle they had it for 2 1/2…read moremonths throwing any type of part they could think of to try and fix it needless to say almost 900$ later to get it back and it still doesn't run right can't even ride it cause it just randomly shuts off now ever since they gave it back I do not recommend this place at all for any work to be done they fixed the spuddering problem but now my quad shuts off randomly when I'm on trails had to tow it home cause of this also they didn't tighten the carb boot it was off along with bolts missing out of the case on the stator side they replaced overall bad techs there only buy oil and mix from them

Called Wicked powersports for a certain waverunner (2025 model) on 4/24/25 - they had a deposit on…read moreit so we put a deposit $500 deposit on a 2026 model and went to their store on 4/25/25. Spoke with Rachel and she was very informative and pleasant. Rachel said someone would call us Monday and let us know if the people that put the deposit on the 2025 were still taking the machine. We called Monday three times to find out if the machine was available and each time someone was to call us back-nobody did. Tuesday same thing-three calls someone will get back-nobody did. Called Wednesday and got Jen. Told her wanted to know if the 2025 was sold or not and she said it was. Told her we were very unhappy that in three days no one had time to return our call to find out if the 2025 was available. Was told we should have some compassion because her family comes first -her daughter got married that weekend and she was busy and had to catch up at work. I said still no reason that someone couldn't take 2 minutes to let us know if the machine was available. Told her you just lost a sale of the 2026 we put the deposit on because of no call back and her attitude blaming us because we thought three days was a long time for a call back. Was told from her that they didn't need our business. Asked to talk to a manager and she said she was the manager so I asked to talk to the owner and she said she was the owner which I questioned if she was and she hung up on me. Very poor customer relation person. She acted like we were asking too much expecting a call back and to be sympathetic because she had a wedding and I had no compassion!! What kind of business "owner" does this?
