Brought truck back to my mechanic and asked him to replace right front ball joint. Mechanic notified me that the right ball joint had no wear and should definitely pass the Mass State inspectio. I called Rick's to ask if the inspector was there, and he was. I drove truck to Ricks auto service and asked to have car put on the lift again so they could show me the so-called "badly worn" ball joint. Amazingly enough , the ball joint in question was now tight. Must've been the ride to Fitchburg that fixed it? Very dishonest shop, and owner sat cowering in his locked office while all of this unfolded. I can almost accept the extremely rude behavior of the cowardly owner, but the incompetence and just plain lying is really sad. He's lucky he's the only game in town.
