Food is wonderful! The blueberry grilled cheese sandwich and potato salad pair wonderfully!

There is a long coffee flag so that's when you know that you are in the correct place. The different name on the building through me off. It's very spacious inside with plenty of seating. We were greeted and given menus which we then found a high top table, sat down and looked it over. We decided on the Alyssa crepes and morning glory sandwich. Allysa crepe- I would have ordered another plate if we didn't have another 2 hr drive to go. Between the fluffy eggs and the combination of the ingredients with absolutely mouth watering. I asked for hot sauce and it was complete. I would drive out of my way to come back here again. Morning glory sandwich- I don't know who raised these chickens to give such a different taste to them, but they were raised right. These were definitely happy chickens. Hard to explain but this sandwich and those fluffy eggs will keep you wanting more. Everyone there is so sweet and I'm happy to have had the experience of such an excellent breakfast. This is a rare find and I will be revisiting again.

A quick check of the map showed Nana's Coffee was right on our route, so it became an easy and welcome stop. The storefront is small and unassuming, tucked into a quiet stretch of road, but inside it opens up into a cozy space that doubles as both ice cream parlor and coffee shop. There are plenty of tables, and I got the impression they'd be perfectly fine with someone settling in for a while with a laptop if you're looking for a remote cowork spot with a bit of charm. We ordered a latte, and it was excellent. Generous foam piled high, with very hot coffee underneath that held its heat all the way through. The drink was well-balanced, not too bitter, and served with a quiet warmth that matched the atmosphere. Nana's Coffee may not be flashy, but it's clearly a place that values hospitality. Whether you're pausing mid-journey or looking for a low-key place to work, it's well worth the stop. The blend of ice cream, espresso, and relaxed seating makes it feel like a little pocket of comfort tucked into the day. [Review 1319 of 2025 - 4448 in North Carolina - 24871 overall]

The woman working…read morethe order line was genuinely helpful and took the time to walk us through the menu, including explaining the higher-caffeine options, which I appreciated. I ordered a hot coffee and my wife got an iced one, both were excellent and I'd absolutely order the same drinks again. When my wife mentioned it was her birthday, the barista surprised us by comping one of the coffees. That small gesture made her feel really valued and set the tone for the rest of the visit. She was super happy, and it turned a first stop into a "we'll definitely be back" moment. I'll admit I usually don't love drive-through spots because they can feel rushed or high pressure, especially when it's your first time. But the low-key conversation and relaxed approach here made it easy. Even with the line moving, it never felt stressful. Great people, great coffee. Definitely worth stopping, even if you're not usually a drive-through person.

The bigger challenge for me was the layout and ordering process. The location is drive-through only and the traffic flow felt pretty hectic with cars trying to move in different directions. It made the experience feel rushed and a little stressful, especially for someone visiting for the first time. I was also expecting the drizzle and toppings shown in the menu photos, but my drink didn't include them, so it ended up tasting more like a basic iced coffee. The staff member who took my order was polite, but everything moved quickly and there isn't much of a menu to review unless you look it up online beforehand. Overall, the coffee was decent, but the traffic setup and ordering experience made the visit less enjoyable than expected.
