I always get a friendly greeting when I arrive. This is a convenient stopping point en route to the beach. Fair prices with a variety of options for coffee and tea. It also serves as a community gathering place, with plenty of work areas and seating with a big window letting in lots of light.

My daily morning cup of tea.

We were visiting this area, and lamenting the lack of a coffee shop to fuel us for the drive back to Raleigh, when someone pointed use here. I honestly felt like it was going to be more adventure than enjoyment, and after figuring out which door to go in, my mind wasn't changed. It was pretty empty, but great seating and fun country-home decor. The gal running the place was passionate about her coffee. My companion got a drink off the menu, and I watched her grind and fuss over it to get it just right. When it came to my turn, I asked her to make me her favorite. I was not disappointed! The perfect shot of hazelnut flavor, and a smooth carmely bean and I was wishing I could be a better expert so that I could do this review justice!

There are no posted hours on the door and the sign says "closed". I can only guess that the business has closed permanently. If not, I would still not recommend them due to the erratic and uncertain operating hours. There's nothing worse than stopping at a place which should be open and find out it's closed.

Lucky thing we drove by a Starbucks while looking for the Subway on Broad Avenue in Rockingham,…read moreNorth Carolina. I needed my Starbucks fix that Friday afternoon in September 2024 and my friend who was driving needed caffeine to drive back to Raleigh. And with that, we stopped by this particular Starbucks after picking up The mobile order from Subway, since it was a quick 2 minute drive away on Broad Avenue. During my time here, my friend and I saw maybe 10 people sitting and vibing at Starbucks. Probably this was the place in Rockingham to chill on a Friday afternoon. At least, that's how I saw it. My friend and I spent about 10 minutes or so putting in our orders, waiting for our orders, and picking up our orders. It was nice to be in familiar surroundings, honestly. I ended up grabbing a Trenta black tea lemonade because it is my go-to drink on every occasion. I also got a double chocolate brownie from the bar, warmed up, since it definitely tastes so good being warmed up. Definitely fudgey and warm as it melts in your mouth. The Starbucks store was pretty much standing room only while we were there. So much for chilling and relaxing that day, but wanted to get to my destination before dark. We arrived around 4pm and left promptly at around 4:15pm. It was a good day for Starbucks for sure. The overall experience here at this particular Starbucks location was very nice and welcoming, although familiar and wonderful At the same. I did use the Starbucks WiFi while waiting for my order, it was nice and fast. It was standing room only, as mentioned before, but that was okay and didn't deter me from enjoying the time I spent here. The staff was generally friendly here and we got good service here. From ordering to pick up, they do take care of you. The prices here can be a downer, but like everything else in life, we want what we want. For the most part though, this experience here at this Starbucks in Rockingham, North Carolina was fun and definitely needed. The menu is filled with coffee drinks, teas, and Frappuccinos. Most people come to Starbucks for their signature coffee but I come for the black teas or black tea lemonades they offer. Their baked goods are always a good tantalizing treat as well. And so, if you need your daily Starbucks fix and are in the Rockingham, North Carolina or will be in the area soon, consider coming to this Starbucks oasis and they will treat you with amazement and wonder. Friendliness goes a long way nowadays. I was glad to see this Starbucks and nice to know that they're there to serve the Rockingham, and surrounding communities in central North Carolina. This particular Starbucks location is physically located at 1217 E Broad Street in Rockingham, North Carolina. They accept major credit cards and cash. They also do mobile orders and payments thru their Starbucks app, which my friend had but I did not. She walked to the pick up counter while I ordered my own while on their WiFi. it was nice for sure. As far as parking goes, there was plentiful parking options for anyone and everyone who comes here. I road tripped here with my friend so I just came and left in her car. Not sure about public transportation options here in Rockingham, NC. Best thing to do is research if there is or isn't one and go from there. You're like to need to rent a car or have a friend drive you over. Then again, there's always Uber and Lyft that you can use as well if needed. I enjoyed the ambiance the most when I come to Starbucks. Here in Rockingham, it's no different. I do enjoy the fact that they let you relax, work, or just enjoy being at Starbucks without telling you to not loiter without buying anything. And so, if you need that Starbucks daily fix and are in the Rockingham area or even passing thru, consider coming to this oasis have a coffee or an ice tea. 4.5 stars for the overall experience. When we said something, no one cared. We intentionally went out of our way to come to this Starbucks and we will never do that again. Also- your brewed coffee is gross and it's basically from a keurig. Sad, you guys used to be good.

They don't care about throwing you under the bus, The Store manager has literally said multiple times out loud. She only cares about her employees that are so far up her butt and belittles everyone else. She's constantly giving away free coffees to the Kay employees next door. Gossip? Oh believe me, there's plenty of that goes around and no one seems to mind their own. You ask a question? You're a bad guy and get told so. You feel that the service is weighing? That's Bec the store manager doesn't know how to run that place. She runs on making people fear their job instead of giving morale to boost the mentally of her employees. They chase regulars away and make false accusations about people. The food sucks. Don't eat it. They will literally leave eggs in cardboard containers after the breakfast rush and that's why your eggs tastes like crap. Because it's long due for the trash. Never had any issues with customers. Customers are great. It's only the stuck up employees and management. This particular store is a franchise so they tend to make their own rules and also follow corporate procedures as well. Cleaning isn't everyone's forte and you'll see it very often where they don't clean the lobby and bathrooms as their supposed to. They don't make matcha right at all. It's nasty. There are a few hospitality type people in there. They will mess up your drinks all the time and not make them the way their supposed to. The drive thru is horrendous and make one mistake and the livelihood of your job is thrown in your face. She constantly tells her employees to shut up and keeps everyone on a tight leash. She's running a shady business here. Needs to be looked into and something needs to be done about it or every customer that comes through that has a negative experience will tell. I hope the new 7 brew that opened adjacent across the street, will in fact dunk donuts so hard they won't be able to recover. Oh and btw, don't take a $50 or $100 bill there. They won't take that legal tender.
