I purchased my current carpet from Ron Schrantz March 2011. It's still holding up great. I was going through some old paperwork and found all of my receipts. I'm glad to see they are still open for business and would highly recommend them for your carpet needs. They were professional and you can't beat the quality and prices. Wow, these guys are fantastic. I walked in and was promptly greeted by Al. He was helped me pick out some carpet for my rental quickly and scheduled an installer for the next Monday. I was there on a Friday. The price he offered was competitive and I was out of there in about 20 minutes. About an hour later Evelyn, one of the installers, called me to schedule a measure and was able to meet me at my rental that night. She confirmed that I didn't need quite the area of carpet I thought and, as Al told me during the purchase, I'd get a refund for un-needed purchased area. To top it off Evelyn and her team were able to install the carpet that Sunday! I shopped at Home Depot, a few times, and found it to be a pain to find someone to help us. They wanted $50 (deducted from the job once done) for a measure and it would take almost a week to do that and additional time to get the carpet installed. I did have the option of spending 50% per sq, yd. more for "72 hour" carpet that's in stock at the warehouse or buying the comparably priced stuff at the store and hauling it to my property. We've worked with Ron Schrantz before and appreciated their work. So we were surprised and extremely disappointed when we went into the store and found all 3 employees working there without masks. The store is small and when looking at carpet it's not possible to have distance. When I told them we needed to leave for this reason, nobody offered to wear a mask or seemed concerned. We took our business and our big carpet job elsewhere and we're glad that we did. read more

I had been searching for affordable carpet for several months when I ran on to Ron Schrantz review on yelp. They listed an email address for estimates or information so I sent the general idea of what I wanted and thought it would take awhile to get an answer. Not so! 20 minutes later I had an estimate for carpet, and pad and when I asked the location, was quickly given details how to get there. I visited the store on a Saturday, fully expecting to walk out with nothing, man was I wrong. I was greeted by Ron who took me in and promptly started showing me samples in the price range and quality I thought I could afford. Ron showed me with a little extra, I could have super nice carpet instead of the cheap stuff. In my case the extra added a whopping $15 to my order. He offered design and color information after talking with me about what I was doing with the carpet. I bought what I thought I needed and then had another awesome guy named Bob come out to measure and talk install prices. Super nice, super helpful. Figured out I needed another yard and called Ron who in turn quickly called me to make arrangements to add it to my order. I sopped back in with friends to get a small sample to match paint. Different guys there this time, but everyone of them went out of their way to make sure I had what I needed. HIGHLY recommend and have given out 5 of the cards I swiped from his desk. They didn't try to tell me what I wanted, they helped me find it! Carpet Exchange could take lessons!!! read more

I called these guys for a short notice install and they were able to coordinate the measuring and installation in just a few days. Their price was fair and they had a good selection of mid range carpets in stock. All other places I called only had low grade carpets immediately available. The sales rep was very helpful and responsive. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again. read more

This was a great experience! Being a single women shopping for carpet seemed a little intimidating. The people at Ron Schrantz were very helpful and informative. However- once the contractor (that I selected elsewhere) arrived and began to install; the pad was short. It would seem that the wrong cut was given at the time of pick up. The situation was quickly resolved. It was a bummer to have to return to swap the pieces out but everyone was very sympathetic. read more

I purchased carpeting and flooring from this company. The installers he got for me did not re-install the toilets properly and I had to bring in my own repair person. I asked the people at Ron Schrantz to come out and look at the time but they said it was the installers problem which is true but why would I want the installer who did it wrong in the first place to be the one to come out again. Now a little over a year later the carpet is bubbling. It has become a who did what and a "it is not my problem" situation and I am left to figure it out on my own. Ron Schrantz will come out but only if I pay a fee for them to look. I work for a community that will have 2000 apartment home when finished. I know who I will not recommend for their flooring needs. read more

My husband and I, along with our three kids, headed out to shop for carpet... my very particular engineer husband who had already researched carpet materials and padding for hours and had millions of questions and thousands of requirements - and my three kids who wanted nothing less than to shop for carpet... and it was awesome. We were greeted by Ron and worked with Al who knew the answer to every ridiculous, particular question my husband had about how the carpet is made, what it's made with, install, prices - you name it. And he answered pleasantly, knowledgeably, patiently and helpfully. The entire staff was also incredibly pleasant, patient and helpful with my kids, who were given paper and highlighters and used them to (what? really? it was THIS good!) draw pictures and thank you notes for Al for being so nice and helpful. I thought we'd spend the day going place to place. We started and finished here. The selection of carpets is fantastic - in type, color, price..., the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful, the showroom is clean and inviting and, if it stopped there, I'd stop writing -but there's more. As I said, my husband is an engineer- construction management for large, multi unit residential over commercial spaces, so he knows flooring - and the install is PERFECTION. Jaziel was so pleasant, worked clean and hard and did a great job. We have NEVER had a contractor in my home who has pleased my husband - but he's already talking about re-doing our bathroom and heading back to Ron Schrantz for flooring. This is a nice little hidden gem for flooring in Denver. I visited 9 other stores before ending up at Ron Schrantz, so have a good idea of prices and products in the metro. Ron Schrantz's has a good selection in stock with prices that are unbeatable. They also have a good selection that they can order in at extremely low prices as well. Its not just prices that make this place great, they have a great sales staff too. I worked with Billy and there was very little nonsense. They had nothing to hide here and would quickly tell you what the face weight of a carpet was while most places treated that like it was an industry secret. Sent a request for a quote on Sunday, got a message he would have a quote for me on Monday, it's Wednesday night and I haven't received anything.
