They also have other types of flooring. We chose a plush carpet and some really good pad and Brett wrote up our order. He sent our phone number to an installer named Chris who was supposed to call us in a day or two to schedule coming out to measure. When I didn't hear from him for 4 days I called him. He said he couldn't get into his email and didn't know that he was supposed to call. But he did come out a few days later to measure and again a week later to measure the third room that was missed on his first visit (hubby's fault). Being that it was only 3 days before our scheduled install I was definitely nervous. Brett called us two days before install to say they didn't have enough of our chosen carpet and offered the options of choosing a different carpet, doing less area, or getting our full deposit back and not getting carpet. We opted for getting a different carpet so we made that drive up north once again. The morning of our install Chris called to say he couldn't make it but would send his brothers. We had spent days getting the rooms ready - taking out all the stuff in the closets (up to 3 feet off the floor), emptying shelves, and basically removing everything but the heavy furniture. So of course I said ok to having substitute installers. They turned out to be very good and got the job done in one day. So far everything looks great And they only missed one night stand when putting the furniture back. So Sloane's will continue to be our go to for new carpet.

My experience with Empire Today and their contractors in the Denver area was far below average…read more From the moment we signed the papers to have vinyl flooring installed on our main floor, we ran into issue after issue. On the first day, two workers came to remove the carpet and prep the floor. Halfway through the day, one worker left for a doctor's appointment and never returned, leaving one person to do the entire job alone. We even bought him lunch because we genuinely felt bad for him. The second day was the same situation, one worker alone installing the floors all day. As the work progressed, we started noticing multiple problems: Missing or incomplete edging Scratches and paint damage to our kitchen island from moving flooring materials around Incorrect trim materials being used because, according to the installer, "the company didn't provide the right materials" The trim pieces didn't match, were oddly shaped, and didn't properly cover areas they were supposed to. My partner ended up repainting and caulking parts themself just to make it look halfway decent. Then we discovered they weren't planning to install flooring in a small connected section near our garage entry and stairs because they "weren't told to do that area." It made absolutely no sense to leave two stairs and a pathway unfinished and different from the rest of the flooring. When we contacted Empire about it, they admitted it was a "misunderstanding" and tried to charge us nearly $1,200 extra to complete the area that should have been included from the beginning. After pushing back, I was able to get the price lowered by a couple hundred dollars, but the entire financing situation became another headache. We had already been approved for a specific financing amount through Empire when we originally signed the contract. When I asked if they could simply add the additional amount onto the financing, they told me they couldn't because only part of the credit line was still available. I then asked if they could split the payment, putting part on the financing and letting me pay the remaining balance out of pocket, and they said they couldn't do that either. So because of THEIR mistake in calculating the flooring square footage, I had to suddenly come up with extra money out of pocket to finish the job. The same installer came back, again working alone, and completed the added section. A few days later, I went downstairs and discovered the carpet at the top stair leading to the basement had been cut up and damaged, and surrounding wood pieces were broken. Nobody mentioned it to us. I contacted Empire again, sent photos, and after over two weeks they finally responded saying they would send the same contractor back out because of their "warranty process." When he returned, he still didn't have the correct materials. At one point he found a piece of picture-frame molding in our garage and asked if he could use that as trim. At that point we just wanted the situation over with and said yes. Now, only weeks later, several sections of the vinyl flooring are separating from each other. We contacted Empire AGAIN and specifically requested a different installer because this same contractor had already returned multiple times to "fix" issues. Today, the exact same installer showed up again and told us the separation was due to weather changes and that he would just glue the planks and hammer them back together. At this point, I would never recommend Empire Today to anyone. The workmanship has been poor, communication has been frustrating, damage was done to our home, and we've had repeated issues within the first month of installation. We're now stuck continuing to pay for flooring that has been a constant headache.

He immediately contacted Benjamin, a trusted carpenter and woodworker. Benjamin was able to come out the very next day and fix the issue. Our floors look great, and we are very impressed with the flooring material. The product we chose is an exclusive product of Empire, and it exceeded our expectations both visually and structurally. We received only the best response and assistance from Greg and Benjamin in fixing the issue caused by the subcontractor, and we are overall pleased with the value and service we got from Empire. One missing thing would have made this a five-star review, and here is where I think Empire can improve. It would be beneficial to both the customers AND Empire to send a QC Manager or Install Manager or Workmanship Inspector or even the original salesperson out to the client's site at the end of the job to give a look at the work done by the subcontracted crew. The subcontractors may have made errors that they assume that the homeowner won't notice, and because they don't work directly for the homeowner, may neglect to fix those errors. When they do this, they are representing Empire, and, as the reviews show, this leads to a poor opinion of the company itself. If these crews knew an Empire rep would be checking their work every time, they would be more likely to do an excellent job the first time around. It would also make the clients feel better about the process, as this would show that Empire is just as concerned about customer satisfaction on the day the contract is completed as they are on the day it is signed. Big thanks again to Greg and Benjamin for handling this issue for us.

Robin was very efficient, explained every scenario, what would be best, what should be done, what would be most cost effective, etc. We had intention of having a second flooring company give an estimate. She even encouraged it! However, we knew immediately, that she and her team would be the ones to do our flooring project. Our connection with her was so organic and true. She spent ample time with us and didn't rush through anything. She showed us plenty of samples in the comfort of our own home, and didn't try to persuade us with price. She went based on our wants and needs and was honest about each options pros/cons. Upon completion of our project review, she shared plans with her partner Justin who would oversee the project. Justin had some minor thoughts/changes to address, for example some steps that would be included in the redo, and gave his expert opinion on what would turn out to be a better option. They were able to accommodate our requested dates. Once project day arrived, we were so excited and couldn't wait to begin. Then the crew arrived. Justin arrived first to do the walkthrough and finalize/confirm all that was going to be done. We had an immediate connection with him as well! What a great team you two are!! Then the two service members of the team who would be doing the work arrived, Diego and G! Extremely professional, some of the hardest workers we have ever seen, purposeful with protecting items in our home, and again, extremely efficient work. I would trust them in my home again and again. Now, to brag about the work. Just wow! It feels like we are in a completely new home! The floors are perfect, they even went into detail about which direction we wanted the wood to face. They moved the furniture for us, helped us relocate furniture upon completion, came back to check on work to make sure we were satisfied and everything was as it should be. They cleaned up after their work, instructed us on upkeep and maintenance of the floor. Robin had an in house check in a week after work to see the completed project! I wish I could have recorded her reaction! Our whole experience with this entire team has been phenomenal, and one that we will never forget. Every person we encountered became a friend to us and they treated us and our home with the utmost respect. I would highly recommend for any and all flooring needs! Thank you guys so much!!! HOWEVER- I arrived at the final walkthrough at the scheduled time, and they were still not done clearing out their supplies. This was okay and I assumed more work would be done. There was brown liquid spilled on the cabinets and floors, paint spilled on the floors, stairs & countertops, outlet covers missing (still not found), painter's tape still stuck to the walls & baseboards, and sunflower seeds littered across EVERY single floor in the house (including the in the carpet and the bathtub). I am shocked at the way the house was left and how sloppy this was. This was not the condition that it was supposed to be left in. I had a showing the next morning so had to spend over 3 hours cleaning it. I contacted the manager about it and received a $275 discount. They did offer to come back over and "take care of these items" but I had no time to let them come back so I had to take care of it myself. For how much I paid to for this to be done I expected way more from this company. I will not be using this company again.

We needed to replace our cracked and sinking driveway behind our townhome. We chose to work with…read moreDenver Concrete, and we are not disappointed. We had to get approval from the HOA to have this done. DC provided all the documentation we needed, including pictures, and a link for the HOA to ask questions. We asked for a Fri/Sat for the project and they accommodated us. However, the work was pretty much completed on Friday. However, the next day it snowed and the temp dropped below freezing. The DC crew came out and placed warming blankets on top of the driveway. Then they picked them up and placed stakes and caution tape around the driveway to keep people and cars off of it. I was worried about the freezing and snow we had gotten, but Lee assured us that if the driveway should be compromised in any way, he would take care of it. The blankets they put on it left marks, but after a couple of weeks, the crew came out to "finish" the driveway, smoothing out those marks. We were able to walk on the driveway after a week or so, I believe. And now we are parking on it. It did take all of 4 weeks to get to that point, but the driveway looks great, we are no longer worried that someone will trip over the crack, and I'm sure this will help the value of our home. Lee and his crew are great to work with and alleviated all our concerns. As to the cost, we have no idea what cement work costs so we are not able to give an opinion on that matter. We wanted someone who knows what they're doing and are easy to work with, and we found them.

Called twice to get the quote and both time Lee said he'd get it right out to me. Still waiting.read more

The colleague of a friend referred us to Denver Carpet and Flooring. I was a bit hesitant and nervous; however, after speaking with Angela, I felt fine. She was extremely courteous and professional! Not only that, she arranged for Michael to come to our house the following day. Michael arrived precisely on time, bringing his impressive carpet knowledge and multitude of samples! In two hours' time, he gleaned all the information and was able to provide two quotes later that afternoon. Then Sean took over coordinating our order and installation. He called to tell me that the carpet had arrived, earlier-than-planned. But, Sean was very understanding about scheduling its installation the following month due to delays in our project. He was friendly and helpful each time we spoke! Finally, Sean assigned Luis and his crew to our installation. All four were very hard-working and polite! Since we haven't had carpet laid in over 25 years, I had forgotten what an "art" that is when done correctly, not to mention what hard work it is! My experience with DCF from beginning to end was exceptional! The process was easy, unpressured, very well coordinated and very well explained to me. My questions and concerns were very quickly responded to in a professional manner. Barb Hart worked closely and patiently with me to help me select the right type of flooring in terms of color, tone, pattern, style and product type. When working with other flooring companies to get quotes they were not very helpful in helping me with product selection. They just wanted a quick sale and then get rid of me. Kevin Stewart and his crew - Robert and Arnold did an amazing job of installing my new flooring. They were respectful and took great care to protect my furnishings and home while installing the new flooring. They paid great attention to detail in their work to ensure perfection in their installation. They put heart and pride into their work. No sloppy work at all!! The new flooring looks absolutely fantastic! Excellent selection with the help of Barb and excellent installation from Kevin and crew. Denver Carpet and Flooring installed our new dog-proof carpet in our family room yesterday. The entire process, from choosing the carpet that would best fit our needs to the installation process was smoothly and professionally done. The in-home consultation allowed us to see large samples of carpet in the lighting and with the furniture it needed to coordinate with. That was so helpful! The company stayed in touch with us about when to expect the carpet to arrive and when it would be installed. The installers arrived on time, carefully moved our furniture, worked efficiently and meticulously, cleaned up after the installation, were respectful of our belongings, and were just very pleasant and polite. I wish every company employed workers who took pride in their work. We'll need to replace carpet in other areas of our Labrador/human home. Labs will eat ANYTHING, but seem to throw up a lot of it, and our dove gray carpets have paid the price. When the time comes for a new canvas for their work, we will absolutely call Denver Carpet and Flooring. read more

They put in about 800 sq/ft of hardwood and 1100 sq/ft of carpet. Including carpet on a very challenging staircase. I got Mohawk smartstain and some beautiful hardwood. Getting it all done by the same company simplified things immensely and I got a much better deal. I got quotes from 2 other companies but DCF was at least 20% cheaper. They have separate project managers from the salesmen, and all the installers spoke english. They did a separate patterned carpet on my stairway at no additional cost. The only negative is that the hardwood pieces are MUCH shorter than I imagined. I don't blame DCF for this but just something to keep in mind when you are shopping for hardwood. I would ask about an average board length because with a mixed box you might be getting 4 short boards for each long board. But it depends on the look you are going for, my floors look awesome but they are just different than what I imagined. Anyway, we got a GREAT price on the work and I would use them again for sure. read more

After 20+ years in our house it was time to have all the carpeting replaced. This was probably around 3000-3500 square ft. From meeting with the sales rep, to the calls to set everything up, the install and the follow up after, everything went extremely smoothly. The quality of the carpet and padding can be felt when you walk on it. The best part was watching the team of Jose and Jose install the carpet. I have never seen two individuals work so hard. They did the install for all that square footage, including stairs in one day. Yes, it was a long day but one day!!! They were so polite, constantly told us to make sure we were checking everything as they went. They walked us through after to look at everything. We had no comments because they did such a good job. You cannot even see a seam. I swear they were literally running at times. I highly recommend Denver Carpet and Flooring and if you get Jose and Jose to do your install there is no one better! read more

I had a great experience with Denver Carpet and Flooring. We recently purchased a home and wanting to change the upper level carpet from an old shaggy brown to a nice plush neutral gray/white color. Steve was great at providing a detailed quote and providing various samples to choose from. The installation process was where the real above and beyond customer service came in. Angel, Chris, Jesser, and Luis were our install team that worked tirelessly to get the job completed in one day. They originally were going to need some extra time the following day but after sharing we were having the whole house cleaned in the morning in order to move in the following day -- Luis the manager called in extra crew to help complete the project overnight. Despite an incredibly long day and working from 8am to past 10pm, they completed the job beautifully and we are so pleased with our new carpet. we will definitely use them again in the future. read more

Denver Carpet and Flooring helped get my family back home quickly after water damage destroyed our carpet!! Catrice and the sales/estimate office staff went above and beyond to ensure the replacement padding and carpet was the same like and kind as a previous carpet. Truth be told, the quality, feel, and durability of Denver Carpet was better than the competition in every way. Catrice even took the extra time to examine competitor offerings and made sure we received our teacher discount! Very few companies celebrate and support teachers - Thank You! Sean and the installation staff worked extremely quickly, supported with large furniture, and completed the install quicker than quoted. My family finally got back into our house with better carpet than we had and our toddler loves playing (and falling) on a dense pad with super soft carpet. Denver Carpet saved the day! read more

Awesome company !!!! I cannot say enough good things about this company and the installation service and job they did for us here at RightStart in Cherry Creek Denver, CO. We had a complete remodel done in our store recently and Denver Carpet & Flooring came through for us with new floors and carpet as well. From Tom doing the estimate -- to Edgar doing the installation -- to Charlie coming and doing the after check, they were 100% professional and serviced our company excellently. The installer Edgar was TOP NOTCH and I would highly recommend him for any installation services you need done. He was so professional, considerate and is truly a wonderful person as well. Michael Spetalieri was our sales representative and the first time he came we needed a full education on the options! He was absolutely the best and we never felt pressured either. Sean Cushing managed the scheduling and was always super helpful to answer questions for anything we were unsure of in advance of the install. We needed to find a close match for our upstairs that matched a downstairs hardwood that is not longer available. Heather really heard us and helped us find a beautiful option. I cannot recommend the team at DCF more highly. Our sales professional, Michael S. was enthusiastic and informative. We had to get all new floors on the first level of our home after an issue with our water heater right after Christmas. Michael got us a higher quality floor with a very similar look, and we really appreciate that. The installation team was incredible! Kevin and Jose were efficient and professional, and they really cared about getting the job done well. They were friendly and warm, and they were great with visits from our energetic puppy. We have had a best experience with sales (Barb) and the install team (Kevin, Arturo & Robert)!! Barb worked with us to get the best wood product selected, and the install process went very well. Never have I seen a group of contractors take such great pride and deliver meticulous work. Team arrived every day for 2 weeks as scheduled and cleaned up twice a day for us to ensure our dogs were safe. (Installed wood product on entire first level of house.) I have gotten carpet from these guys 3 times, on each of the levels on our house. Everyone was very accomodating and helpful, from the office staff through installation. This last time, carpeting the basement, things went particularly smoothly and quickly. David already knew what I was looking for and was able to recommend good options immediately, since the carpet used in other areas of the house had been discontinued. This has been one of the best overall experiences in customer service and final product. Every member of this staff went above and beyond to give us the absolute best carpet install. We had Martin do our install, and he did a phenomenal job. Not only did he take on this project by himself, but stayed late making sure that the job was done exceptionally well. We used Denver Carpet and Flooring and all I can say is that we were extremely pleased from the sales person, Barb Hart to Heather in the showroom. There was no high pressure and the carpet install was fabulous! The installers moved our furniture, began working immediately and since it was a small area, finished in three hours. After they were done, Denver Carpet called us and made sure that everything was done to our satisfaction. I highly recommend them if you are considering new flooring or carpeting. Denver Carpet & Flooring installed new carpeting in all the carpeted rooms in the house this week. From start to finish the whole project was terrific. From sales, scheduling and installing I was completely satisfied. The carpeting is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The installers were respectful, polite and very good at doing their work. Denver Carpet and flooring replaced carpet at both my mother's and my home in the last month. They did an excellent job and the carpet looks great. The workers were efficient, professional and left the house clean and in order. They went an extra mile by taking the frame of my king size bed apart because I was unable to handle it. This is a follow-up to previous entries regarding the deteriorating (extra expensive) carpet I got…read morein November 2025. After connecting with Simply Floors early 2026 because of the shredding carpet and after a couple of inspections and coordination with the manufacturer of the carpet, I now have the replacement installed (June 1, 2026). The installation was a good process this time and the carpet will most likely hold up very well. Good installation, done within a reasonable time frame and confirmation of details beforehand was achieved. Would have given 5 stars if this was how it went in the beginning. Although I wouldn't recommend one company over another, I would recommend solid communication with all involved, especially with the install crew and company together so everyone is on the same page from the beginning and not just futile lip service. Follow-up inquiries are also important. Would I work with this company again---probably, since they came through with corrections.

Disappointing rush job didn't turn out great. The owner said it would take 4 days to sand, stain…read moreand seal the main floor so we made plans to stay out of town during that time - since this isn't a project that you can stay at home for. The crew finished in 1 day +2 hours the next day. They didn't mask off our new kitchen cabinets (or anything else) as they were supposed to so everything was covered in sanding dust. They left in a hurry without locking up the house. The front door was propped open with the key in the deadbolt and all of the lights left on. They left tools and trash inside and outside the house. The owner was apologetic afterwards but accepted zero responsibility for his crew. You might think they would check to make sure everything was done correctly before letting us know they were finished, but apparently there is no quality control. There are several areas that look bad - ripples across the floor, stain on the carpeting, a splotch of stain in the hallway and a long hair sealed into the kitchen floor. We will have to hire someone else to fix these areas since we can't trust this company to be in our house.

Selected and contracted Exquisite Hardwood to refinish main floor that included front room, dinning, kitchen and stairs. Work was completed in a timely manor, can not say anything bad about quality of work is was as expected (love the color and finish on floors!). We did feel personal skills of owner and especially employee were lacking and encountered some conflict during the process. Communication could have been better on a number of issues maybe I iwas not clear about some items. One being we asked to have the top stair match the rest of stairs but it ended up matching the upstairs floor and was not finished in hi-gloss like the rest of up stairs floor - this might have helped- (see attached pictures of stairs). Attached are pictures of floor and stairs. I would not recommend Exquisite Hardwood based on our experience with them.

Charlie and Victor did an amazing job restoring the hardwood floors in our bedrooms. They were…read morepretty beat up and had been hidden by carpet for years, but they got them looking new again in a matter of hours. They also replaced a section of boards that had serious water damage and did so seamlessly. Charlie and Victor were responsive, fast, friendly and neat. Their price was also cheaper than all of the other companies that I called. I would highly recommend their services!

Stop, enough description!!. Tenant damage. I doubted anyone could fix the damage it was so bad. David didn't get to 100% better but a good 95%, no human could do more. As long as this company doesn't go crazy with their prices I will never use anyone else.
