This is a really long overdue review but I want to make sure they get the credit they deserve! My hubby and I came here to pick out new carpet for the house we purchased late last year. Everything about the experience was positive! We worked with Angela who pointed out a large variety of "in stock" carpet that wouldn't have delays to install. Not only did we find the perfect color/texture we were looking for, but she was very patient and friendly, and answered all of our questions. Plus the price couldn't be beat. We had the carpet installed approx 1 week later, and it took one full day, and I even felt bad because they finished up close to 8 p.m. They did a fantastic job. I even had a panic a few days later because I thought they made a mistake and called them back to take a look. The guy in charge of installation (I forget his name but he was wonderful) came out the next day and took a look at it free of charge, and I realized my eyes were playing tricks on me! It was a high quality installation, and 6 months later the carpet still looks perfect and brand new. I'd definitely come here again. read more

I have been going to La Boria's since my first home purchase in 2001. Love this hidden gem!! Angela and Tony were super helpful on this last purchase. We picked out carpet for our stairs and they took their time to understand exactly what we wanted so they didn't over sell (what???) us carpet that we didn't need. It ended up being over half the price of 3 other places that I went to, who just wanted to sell me. The installers called ahead, showed up on time and did a spectacular job. I honestly would like to give the company zero stars! I bought carpet for my new home from them a couple of years ago. Someone came and measured my home, only to find out that they did not order enough carpet. They told me this was my fault and that they could no longer get that style of carpet and I would have to pick out a different style? When I explained that I wanted the same carpet in my entire house and would like to cancel my order, I was told that was not possible since they already ordered the carpet. The rude lady that answers the phone would not let me speak with the owner and actually hung up on me!! They ended finding some additional carpet from somewhere else that was "similar". After they left installing my carpet I was missing a 200 dollar Apple gift card which I had in my storage room in the basement (Just moved into my home). I have had nothing but issues since this carpet was installed. I have wrinkled carpet all over my home that I had to pay someone to fix! The wrinkled carpet is from poor installation!! Other contractors I have had in my home doing various projects have commented on what a shoddy job they did! This was a horrible experience! They price gauged us to give us a "good deal", ultimately wanted 21.99 best price for carpet I found for $18 elsewhere. Same thing for the moisture wicking pad, I was quoted almost $3 higher than her next closest geographical competitor. Ironic because Angela assured me she was giving me an absolute best deal, however when I called her on it, she said she would have to get check prices and back to me, which she never did. We also wanted something green, okr at least education in that department. Tony told us that all carpet is made green these days so it doesn't matter, which is obviously not true and the first signs this is an untruthful store. They actually operate right next to a carpet recycling warehouse yet they tell us they just throw all the old carpet away in the trash anyway. Was originally excited to use this company based on the prior reviews and locality to our house but alas this is not the right carpet dealer for us. read more

This company employs wonderful employees who go above and beyond. I'm only giving them 4 stars because Yelp tends to hide 5 stars and I want to make sure my review isn't hidden. I saw the bad review about Angela. Craziness! She was a huge part of why I'm so grateful to this company. We had been seriously screwed over by a corporate carpet company with zero customer service and were scrambling to find someone to help us at the last minute. Angela brought us in, helped us find our carpet and pad, and got us set up with next day install. Did I mention the install was on a Sunday??? Good luck finding that anywhere else. I know. I had tried. The installers showed up, as promised, on Sunday ready to work. And, they showed up early!! I'm so impressed with this company. We have been to many other places that were not as pleasant to work with. Adrian was easy to work with, kind and very knowledgeable about all the product they had available. I would recommend them for all your flooring needs. This is the second time we have been to Laboria's. The first time was for hardwood and this time for carpet. We will definitely be back soon for carpet for our upper level! This place is by far the so unprofessional and has rude employees upon their staff.. I tried to call in and for some reason my phone was acting up and they couldn't hear me on the other end of the phone, well the lady who answered the phone decide to say the most inappropriate things, and a couple really rude remarks before I hug up the phone. (I was able to hear on my end). Well I tried to call back and still had the same issue with the phone so I called off a different phone a little later on and a man answered the phone and now they can hear me (how I know It was my phone) but I asked for a supervisor because I was going to make a complaint on what I heard on the other end of the phone the 1st phone call I placed, weather they can hear me or not, that is completely unactable for a place of business especially the type of business they are.. this man asked me my name, I told him and asked for his, he said its nun of your concern and told me not to call again or he will call the cops on me AND HUNG UP!! I called back and I asked again to speak to a supervisor as someone looking to become a customer this is completely unactable along with the way I'm being treated by the staff this far!! he said we have caller id and you kept calling and hanging up so don't call here again or I will call the cops and hung up on me!!... now keep in mind I called 4 times yes!, 2 from one phone they couldn't hear me off of and 2 from a different phone that they could hear me off of and I spoke to the man on.. so different numbers not all off one number and if they really could not hear me how did they know it was me all 4 time and not just the two calls they could hear me on? then to add salt to the wound I got a call back almost right after I got hung up the last time from a different number from the business line I called and it was a women named ANGELA on the other end saying she was the supervisor, I was asked what happened so I told her what had happened in the original call I wanted to complain about and then about the guy who hung up on me twice telling me he would call the cops. Well she flat out told me I was lying about the 1st phone call that nun of what I said happened and that she was sitting there the whole time but she would check her guy worker! (she sound like the lady who I was complaining about and her attitude was a perfect match so I think she lied about her being a supervisor) I just bought a house, 1800sf and was looking to have the entire house re-carpeted smh.. you can bet I will not be using this company to go anywhere near my house for any type of work I need or want after the trash customer experience I JUST received. From this company's staff.. maybe they were having a bad day idk and really I don't care bad day or not you don't treat someone like I was when your JOB is CUSTOMER SERVICES... someone else will defiantly enjoy what its going to cost to re-carpet 1800sf up and down stairs. read more

I am using this company for a small carpet installation job and could not be more frustrated or disappointed. I asked them to measure before installing because I gave rough estimates and they advertised and promised to do so. They also promised two installers at 10am sharp. Instead, one installer showed up, at 10:30, and without enough carpet. Instead of taking responsibility and problem-solving for the customer, LaBoria's and their contract installer offered nothing and both wanted to charge me more for resolution. I'm several phone calls in now and passing my phone between the installer and LaBoria's. I've asked multiple times to speak with the owner and they won't put him on. They've hung up without updating me after each call. They refuse to send someone to the job with the extra yard of carpet despite the fact that when I was in the warehouse there were 3-4 employees sitting around watching TV the entire visit. Completely unprofessional and I would never recommend. read more

I have been. working with laboria's carpets for two years now and have had little issue except for dealing with the snotty attitude of their general manager Angela. But this last time was different. I went in and looked for carpet after having Antonio the owner come measure my house Stairs. he told me that I needed 48 yards of carpet which I thought was a lot but he said I had a lot of stairs so I went in and found a carpet I really light and had his employee Angela price it out she gave me a price of $1135.00 cash that would include 8 pound pad with moisture barrier and installation as well as the carpet. she told me though that if I talk to the owner he might make me a better price. so I came back another day and ask the owner what's the best price you can give me was we agreed on $1050.00 cash. so then I went to the front desk and set up installation date as well as told Angela the new price. upon hearing the new price she got infuriated for no reason and started being extremely rude tell me that I could just fucking deal with tony then. I could not understand what the rudeness is about so I agreed after to bring half the payment that week and give the other half to the installers. so two days later I brought half of the payment of $525 I walked into the store and notice that Angela was on the phone and tony was sitting at the desk so I walked up to tony and handed him the payment and told him this was half and asked him about giving the other half to installer he said that was fine then I left.then I called about 3 days before install to verify installation at which time Angela started accusing me a recording tony when I gave him half the money. I explained to her I did not record them. She said it was the owners son who said I recorded him. I explained to her that we have been doing business for 2 years and that these type of accusations were ridiculous and on professional at which time she agreed with me and said that we would continue with the installation. The day of installation I got a call 1 hour before from Angela saying that I needed to go down and fill out a contract and that they now we're going to charge me more for tax and The product. she was extremely rude about the whole situation I agree to pay the tax at which time she got worse and I asked the talk with tony the owner I discuss the issues with him I said I want to clean slate and that I wanted my cash back and I will pay the full amount by credit card he agreed and that he would call me back to set it up. After an hour went by I called the store and Angela answered being extremely rude and I asked for tony she put me on hold then said that Tony was busy and that I kept calling the store and hanging up. I told her I'm not into little kids games and I'm getting sick of her's at which time she hung up on me I tried calling back but she had my number blocked from the store. So I used another phone and ask for tony she kept hanging up on me. About 30 minutes later I got a call from tony telling me that Angela said I was being rude and that he cannot do the deal at all for me to just pick up my money I talked with tony in private and said let's just make this deal between you and I and get it done he agreed. And that he would get a hold the installers and send them.I waited for 2 hours and nobody showed up I kept calling the new number Tony had called me on but no one would answer after the third attempt he answered and told me that he was sending someone over but apparently I had called the store and Cursed Angela out and so they were not able to do the deal. I told him this was ridiculous and that I would not do business with them again. He offered to bring the money to my house and drop it off I told him that I will not be home from my wife what. Apparently when he dropped off the money to my wife he video recorded her with his cell phone and gave her the money. After this I had 2 other carpet companies measure my stairs and they came up with 27 yards Not 48 like laboria's tried to charge me. They tried to rip me off. I thought we had built a great rapport and trust the only thing they seem to have trusted in ways that they could take me for a ride. They treated me well before I even overlooked the first time I went in and the store manager Angela was high and tell me about the strong "shit" she had just smoked. I never told the owner. As well as on another date his brother was drunker than a skunk stumbling all over the place and even dropped about 5 rolls of linoleum on himself and the store manager Angela told me that that was Tony's brother and that he was always drunk just not the pay him any mind. I didn't make a big deal this time because It seemed like their personal issues and it was funny when the roll is fell on him. read more
