I sent multiple emails and texts over several days asking for basic updates on transport, documentation, and next steps. I received no response at all. Today, I learned from the inspection company that the vehicle had been sold to someone else before they could even perform the inspection. The dealership never notified me the car was no longer available, despite having my credit information, my inspection appointment, and my ongoing communication. This is not how a professional dealership operates. Running a buyer's credit, agreeing to terms, and then disappearing while selling the car to someone else is unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with my experience purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I purchased my car and continued making my payments as agreed, only to start experiencing serious issues with the vehicle around a year later, right as the warranty had expired. The car began having major transmission and electrical problems. I have now had to deal with battery/electrical issues, the vehicle shutting off after it gets hot, and possible serious transmission problems. This is especially frustrating because I am STILL making payments on this vehicle. I understand that used cars can have issues, but the timing and severity of these problems have left me feeling completely played and taken advantage of. I purchased a vehicle expecting it to be reliable--not to be dealing with thousands of dollars in potential repairs shortly after the warranty ended. This experience has been stressful, financially draining, and extremely disappointing. I truly wish I had done more research and taken my business elsewhere. I had a positive experience purchasing a used car with Stan. He was responsive in communicating with me, and flexible in scheduling. The car's price was fair, comparable to other similar ones for sale right now. After sharing my drivers license and insurance info, I was able to take the car for a long test drive, as well as to a service center for a Pre-Purchase Inspection. Some basic maintenance was needed, which I expected for a 10-year-old car with 100k+ miles. Stan offered to fix a few items free of charge as part of the sale (they have a mechanic onsite), including replacing the rearview mirror, realigning the front bumper, patching a tire, and fully replacing the infotainment system. I put down a small deposit to hold the car while those things got fixed, which took a few weeks. He remained transparent about the process throughout. My minor qualms were that I did have to follow up with him for regular updates during the repair process, and he double-booked our appointment when we purchased the car--we were filling out paperwork in the same tiny office as another client.
