I don't want to pay $50k or $60 for a brand new SUV because I probably won't keep it too long after my move. The price of gas going the way it is an SUV would kill my wallet just driving around town. The sales person with whom I've dealt is David. No pressure. He let me test drive the thing. Then, he let me off of the car lot without tackling me and pinning me to the parking lot. I really appreciate his time and his demeanor. I'm still researching a few more vehicles, but I so appreciated this man's time and the way he interacted with me that I know I'll be going back. I did go to Car Expo in Downey to see a Ford Expedition King Ranch. The salesman wanted to pin me down as to whether or not I would be making a purchase today. I said I wasn't sure, but I wanted to test drive the vehicle to see how I like it. The salesman would not let me test drive it, and when he did get the keys for it it wouldn't start. Can you believe it? I guess that it wasn't meant to be. The vehicles at Uruapan are clean, the lot and business itself are really clean and the professional staff makes someone feel at home. I'm giving Uruapan four stars because I haven't made the purchase, yet. I'll write more later to tell you of the whole experience from start to finish. In the meantime, a customer is buying a vehicle as well as the salesperson's time. Some dealerships might remember that.

DMV informed me a notice was sent to them in March that they needed to confirm the vehicle's identification. Once I finally got my plates I noticed registration is due again in December! Carfax is made available to review for free. No hassles when you come to test drive. They drove the car to my local mechanic to allow me to get the car inspected prior to purchase. They agreed to fix the minor issues found at no charge. The struts needed replacing as well as a tire pressure monitor sensor. They were able to help me get that fixed at a third of the cost I would have paid at the local mechanic I trust!! Super happy with the purchase. These guys are solid and honest and helpful. Also, This car was 10 yrs old so they smog checked it already, which is good for two years. The paperwork signing was prepared prior to me accepting the car, so signing it took about 2 minutes and we were done.
