From my first phone call, I was incredibly impressed with the professional quality of the information provided by Tiffany. Granted, I'd avoided the dental chair for years for fear of pain. I met Dr. K and he worked up a game plan, and today I was in the chair. Emily, was super sweet and made sure I was comfortable before getting started. When Dr. K came in moments later, he assured me that he would do what was in our plan and would make me as comfortable as possible. One word: BEWARE. I would definitely NOT recommend Roman Dental. I was forced to find a new dentist after my old dentist, whom I loved, retired. I tried Roman Dental after a recommendation from a friend and was happy there for awhile. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful, but I began to grow suspicious when at each appointment they found a new dental problem (multiple cavities, gum recession, etc.) Having this amount of dental problems was very unusual for me. I have regularly attended the dentist (every 6 months) since I was a child. I've had cavities before, but not the level of problems that were suggested by Roman Dental. Being conscientious about my dental health, I initially followed up on their suggestions: filling cavities, purchasing and using medicated mouthwash. But, after they suggested I needed an expensive deep cleaning, I decided to get a second opinion. The dentist who offered the second opinion stated that I did not need the deep cleaning and could not see why anyone would ever suggest I needed a deep cleaning. I have not been back to Roman Dental since. It is my opinion that they have unethical dental practices - suggesting unnecessary, expensive dental procedures. I would definitely be wary of any recommendations they make. read more

Me & husband has been going there for a while. Service has been good. But what pissed us off is that they always try to up sell for deep cleaning or more when all we want is just simple cleaning. It does not just happen to us. Personally, I do not think that our teeth is in such a bad health. We floss and brush our teeth daily. Been to other dentists and not as bad as what Roman dental try to scare us into deep cleaning. Our friends whom we referred, stopped going there since Jan. He encountered similar situation and he just walked out of the clinic. We and our friends will not visit this clinic anymore. read more

Thought we would try a new dentist closer to home so we tried Roman. This place operates quite the scam. Telling me and my spouse we both needed work that we really didn't and of course we thought they were making correct recommendations. For some reason they had zero idea of how much out insurance would pay so we reluctantly agreed. Our previous honest dentist would pick up the phone and have an answer for us right away with no surprises. Come to find out Roman was trying to double charge both us and the insurance company. I have always had near perfect dental health but Roman will scare you into anything. We have since returned to our old dentist to find out we were correct in our assumptions. This place is great! I've been here a few times over the course of a few years and even if they are "higher priced" according to some other reviews I certainly feel like you get what you pay for! I had no pain the whole time. The Dr. and his assistant Tiffany were amazing and very attentive! If you want a quality job and a no pain experience I would definitely see them! I was given a plan of what my treatment was going to cost per tooth when I left my first consultation and felt like that was a very honest way to do business. I commend the hard working team at Roman Dental for providing smooth and efficient dental care to their patients. From the moment I walked through the front doors, to the treatment chair and back to the check out desk, I felt well taken care of and satisfied with the quality of care I received. All the precautions taken during this pandemic are exceptional at this office. I was impressed with the sanitizers and lysol available to use, two sinks in each treatment room to wash your hands at and protective equipment used by the whole team. The assistants wiped down equipment immediately after handling it and ensured a clean and disinfected environment. Dr.Kotlarek is great at his technique when giving injections because I didn't feel anything when I received anesthetic. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of a caring and knowledgeable Dentist. I first went to Roman Dental in 1995, when the practice was pretty new. I needed fairly extensive work, and Dr. Kotlarek installed a 6 teeth bridge that lasted 22 years!!! I have this summer started major dental work again with 3 implants and 6 new crowns. I have never had good teeth. It is genetic, and I have never liked going to the dentist, but Dr. Kotlarek is wonderful, very gentle, explains all the process in details, and never once did I hurt from the procedure. He just raised my sinus, did a bone graft, and installed 3 implants. The surgery was a success, I was sour for a couple of days, but following his orders, and taking the meds he prescribed, I was fine within 48 hours. His rates are not the cheapest but they are not the highest. I would trust anyone else with my teeth! read more

I got all my wisdom teeth out with him this past week and I have to say that I am very glad I went to do this procedure at his office. They all truly care about the health of your teeth and gums and any other dental issues you might have. The office atmosphere is relaxed and happy. They listen to me and make sure that I understand any procedure or the necessity for it and will tell you if you need something done soon or if it's ok to wait until later. i wish there was a zero star review... idk about the pricing i'm in the process of getting my records transfered to another dental office. i was there and explained to the dental assistant about my medical history which was all the dr. needed to know. i was diagnosed with pcos 15 yrs ago if anyone knows what this is... its a syndrome that makes your hormones out of balance and causes a lot of symtoms such as unwanted hair growth on your face or anywhere else, infertility, fatigue, weight gain, the list goes on and on. i explained to her that my husband and i are trying to do ivf because i am unable to get pregnant naturaly, i told her this because i am going through numerous treatments and different meds. she then laied me back to look at my teeth and turned on the bright light and touched my face! i hate to have my face touched by anyone because of the issues i have with my skin and hair growth on my face it hurts, she said what is this scaley skin and i can see hair growth on your face, what do you do shave? she said i can see it really good with this bright light! i have never felt so embarrassed in my life! i wanted to die right there. then she had the nerve to suggest laser hair removal... first of all it's none of your concern you are not a dermatologist, you do not comment on something you do not know about. don't get me wrong she was nice, but when you embarrass someone like that i will never return to this place. i don't ever mind telling someone my story but the way this happened was completelty uncalled for. also she informed me that i need to get my teeth done before i have a baby! again thats none of your business the dentist said nothing about that at all... you are not a dentist for a reason i guess. a dental assistant at that will make someone feel so worthless, i walked out of there so stressed out and the worst anxiety i have ever experienced in my life. read more
