Will not be returning. I came back for THE EXACT same filling today, took time of work as many do , just to be told " idk where you got it from but it wasn't here , these are the things we did last time ". I literally left this place writing a nice review in 2023 cuz I was so happy with everything and that I no longer had a tiny hole in my tooth , just for them to repeatedly tell me it wasn't there , because it's not in a record . Yeah sure I'm delusional , because I haven't even been to the dentist since EDGE . And you could miss a record because people make mistakes at their jobs . Just fyi. Went in for my semi annual cleaning. I have had one cavity in my life and no other dental problems. Dentist did exam and determined I needed a deep cleaning and had a cavity. Deep cleaning was priced at $411 (excluding cavity fix) and was not covered by insurance. I declined and requested a regular cleaning. They said "no." So it was either pay the ransom or they won't treat me. I walked out. Went to a new dentist the next day who did exam and X-rays. Determined I did not need a deep cleaning and had NO cavities. Cleaning was covered 100% by insurance. Stay away from these scam artists. read more

I always have sensitive teeth and a low pain tolerance and they are always really empathetic and accommodating of that. Also they will be straight up about things. Example: I had received a few opinions that I needed my teeth removed. I came to Dr Justin Lai and he assured me that I didn't need removal, that my problem was different from the other diagnoses given by others. Also if you don't have insurance they have payment options you can explore. Text reminders for your appointment an hour prior, a courtesy call the day or two before to re confirm the appointment, a text sent with a link to update and/or fill out forms prior to your appoitment. Temperature check in front by the door. Parking lot is shared by other businesses but typically there is enough parking for you to not worry. I forget if there is a ramp and where, just in case. The Square doesn't have a dedicated stop light, so you may miss it and have to u turn, there is a turning lane but it's not long. The staff is great and kind and diverse. read more

Im in looove!!!....I've been dealing with dentist issues for over a year....it took this dentist 30min to evaluate and provide some info on what could be causing pain on a root canal prev done by another Dr.....and 23 min to work on a tooth!!! The crazy part is that I had a prev estimate from another dentist of $1,000 for the tooth the Dr. worked and charged me $91.80.....go ahead give it a try and fall in love!!! I came here when first moving back to Houston last year and had a cleaning then an extraction which wasn't the best experience but Dr. Lai reached out and we were able to get things resolved. Fast forward in my journey and I've gotten another cleaning, whitening, root canal and crown. Everyone is the office is lovely I'm usually seen right away and have all of my questions answered. I've gotten follow up calls after my appointments to make sure everything is ok and I appreciate that. I'm very happy with where my teeth are now. I had an amazing experience at Edge Dental! Dr. Kelley Joo & her assistant Ale took really good care of me. I'm from Miami & as I flew in to TX I got a horrible pain from a tooth infection and I set up my appointment online and the day I came in everybody was super nice and understanding, good vibes. Dr. Joo diagnosed everything in a very detailed manner then during the root canal she made sure I was comfortable and not in any sort of pain which was amazing. My friends told me many stories about how much their root canal hurt and Dr. Joo & Ale really made everything painless and comfortable. Was not feeling well (running a fever) and called them to notify them I was not coming in for my appointment. Over the phone the receptionist told me I had a balance of $50 for past cancellation's. I was never made aware there is a $25 charge for cancellations. I had to pay the $50. I will be looking for another dentist which is a lot more flexible it doesn't look at their patients as an ATM. read more

Excellent and thorough care by dentist and staff. They have all the latest technology and were caring about my comfort. Being at the dentist gives me anxiety. They eased my fears and did a complete cleaning easily. I have to go back to get old fillings redone. They used a special camera to show me why which put my hesitation rest. I decided to see a dentist for the first time in nearly four years (not because I'm neglectful, but student insurance doesn't cover dental). I chose Dr. Lai's office based on the reviews and the location. I made my appointment and they were able to accommodate my working hours. I walked in, verified my online paperwork, and then went back for x-rays. Dr. Lai was working with another patient and so I waited a little bit. Not terrible... maybe 15 minutes. Dr. Lai, as friendly as could be, examined my mouth, gave me a cleaning, and advised me of possible problems that he saw. Yay! No cavities or excessive plaque! Friendly staff is so important to me.The front desk staff girls are always so welcoming and make you feel comfortable. My favorite part of the exam had to be the Xrays..I always gag and dread getting my pictures done because it's so uncomfortable but their technology is top notch. The dentist also does a thorough procedure of checking the lymph nodes or any other soreness near the neck and throat which most dentists that I've been to haven't done.
