    The dental group accepts DMO insurance to get business and then inaccurately represented a…read moretreatment not covered by the DMO insurance to boost their billing. The client, who has no dental training, ultimately has to decide whether to accept the treatment. After speaking to the DMO insurance company about the treatment I was informed by the DMO that I was misled about the purpose of the treatment. I tried to negotiate with the staff and office manager to get the cost of the treatment back. The office manager took my call and told me that I approved the charge at time of service. This is true. I did approve a misrepresented treatment and its charge. I was also told she would talk to the owner dentist about my claim. This never happened. Then, by email, I asked to talk to the owner dentist and I even offered to pay part of the charge as a compromise. The office manager never responded to me on two separate email attempts. I consider these business practices unscrupulous and poor customer service overall. Ghosting customers may be the social trend, but it's very poor customer service! Fulshear Modern Dentistry seems to overlooking all the choices their customers have for dental care in the area. The situation/charge above was in dispute with my credit card company initiated by me. This dispute was unanswered by the office manager. However, my bill is paid in full even though I was unable to work something out with the office manager due to her lack of response.

I don't have any problems I've already had my wisdom teeth out. So they told me that I couldn't get my teeth cleaned because I'm not doing the x-rays so my understanding is they want to do x-rays to get more money out of me because let's say they did find something wrong with something on the x-rays they would still have to have my permission to proceed to go forward to whatever they found. So if I told them no, I don't wanna do anything whatever they found they would say OK and they would clean my teeth so there's really no point on taking the x-rays if I don't proceeded to go forward with whatever they would find and don't forget I don't have any problems so why are you forcing me to do x-rays because they need or want more money. It's sad because they always have excuse saying all they don't wanna lose their license or blah, blah blah, even though the contracted paperwork at the beginning that we signed saying that we can't do anything, even if they broke a tool in our mouth. It's just bothers me that these corporations use these tactics to manipulate us into spending more money in reality it doesn't benefit us. And it's sad because I love this place but once you start adding more stuff just to get money out of my pockets when I've been going here for probably 5-6 years and never had a issue. they need to listen to their clients and their patients more than whatever they're trying to push on us, because at the end of the day we were the ones that pay their bills. Like come on man at the end the day we're calling you paying you to tell you what we need we're not paying you to tell us what we need because trust me if I had some type of problem in my jaw, I would definitely recommend getting an x-ray but I do not have any problems. And just to throw this out there I don't have insurance, so those 5-6 years that I've been coming here I've paid up front so they actually get my money the day of unlike you guys that use insurance so when you use insurance they don't get their money for about at least 2 to 4 weeks so for somebody like me that pays the day of they actually get their money that day

    I went here to fix the clicking sound in my jaw and to have my teeth cleaned. I found out the did…read morenot take my insurance, but, i had my teeth cleaned. 150.00 I was told it would cost 10,000. To fix my bite. I was sent to a chiropractor for a massage. Then after teeth cleaning, i was told i needed a sonogram in order to see what needed to be done. Another 250. Then i was told that it would cost 60,000.00 to fix my alignment in my jaw. I might have felt better if he had said take your sonogram . Perhaps i could take it to another dentist. He said my partial was lose on one tooth so no good, can't take it off and would have to be replaced. The staff was wonderful, and the dentist s were seemingly good, but the cost was freaking crazy high! The place is amazing, so if you have a ton of money i guess it would be great, but for me, retired teacher, the experience was embarrassing to say the least. I even said can you give me another alternative, like not the Lexis version, but maybe the Toyota version that cost less. But no! I left feeling yucky, like do i mortgage my house for my teeth? Lol not at 72! Just to be clear, my negative review was all about price and how different it was like call backs on information or for appointment s after I questioned if we could do a less expensive route. The place and people were really over nice and the equipment was top of the line. I would have loved for them to do the work because I felt comfortable there the first time i went.

It's seems the receptionist is out of touch with what the offices does or provides. Furthermore without even confirming if biomemtic treatment is available or not a "consultation" fee of $799 is asked upfront to book an appointment. This is without acknowledging whether I'm a candidate or not. Without knowing the full price of treatment. Without even confirming the service is available from the dentist.     UPDATED: The office reached out the same day and was able to explain and remedy my situation, so…read morewhile I am still overall sad about what got us here, I have to give a huge shout out to the practice lead and Dr. Katie To for correcting the experience and making it right. They do seem to stand by caring for their patients completely, and it seems like my experience was simply an anomaly. -------------------- I truly wanted to have a positive experience with this practice, but unfortunately, I've had several disappointing interactions that I feel are important to share--both as a fair warning to others and in hopes that the practice may be open to resolving the concerns. 1. Lack of transparency and follow-up on payment information -- I've requested copies of the payment forms I signed eight times (once in person, multiple times by email, phone, and voicemail). Despite this, I've still not received any documentation or clear communication around fees--for orthodontic and dental work. 2. Delayed and dismissive handling of records -- After my initial visit with Dr. To, I waited nearly two weeks for answers to my follow up questions, and then decided to request my dental records so I could transition to a new provider. When I followed up today, I was asked to "be patient and wait a few weeks." This felt dismissive, especially given I am in pain and actively seeking timely care. Given the premium pricing and the promise of a holistic, patient-centered approach, I expected a higher level of service, compassion, and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling disregarded, disappointed, and disheartened. If the practice is open to making this right, I would be willing to discuss further. In the meantime, I hope this helps others make informed decisions about their care.
