This was my first dental appointment since his passing and my first time going to the dentist alone. I was very emotional and nervous walking through the door. From the moment I walked in, Emmanuel at the front desk made me feel welcome and comfortable. The dental assistants, Kenia and Violeta, were incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. Dr. Saood was compassionate, understanding, and took the time to make sure I felt at ease. When I became emotional and started to cry, everyone treated me with genuine kindness, grace, and care. I am self-pay, and I was pleasantly surprised by their affordable dental membership plan, which helps significantly with costs. I will be getting a dental implant to replace a broken tooth, two fillings, and teeth whitening, and I feel confident that I am in excellent hands. The office itself is beautiful and thoughtfully designed. They even offer a comfort menu with options like weighted blankets, noise-canceling headphones, neck pillows, and other amenities to help patients relax during treatment. Most importantly, I never felt pressured or upsold on services I didn't need, which has been my experience at some other dental offices. Instead, they focused on what was best for my dental health and made me feel respected, heard, and cared for. I highly recommend Smile Avenue to anyone, especially those who struggle with dental anxiety. They truly go above and beyond to make their patients feel comfortable and supported. Thank you, Emmanuel, Kenia, Violeta, and Dr. Saood, for making what could have been a very difficult first visit alone a positive and reassuring experience. I am truly grateful.

I am so thankful to have found this practice. They are honest and truly kind. They definitely care for their patients and are happy to do their jobs. Thank you guys again!

I'm so upset. I got referred here by my regular dentist office because I need braces. So I come…read morehere to the office. I do the initial consultation and the doctor tells me that I need a second opinion from an expert ortho surgeon to confirm if I need to remove a tooth or not prior to braces. This is my third appointment that I've gone to. I go to the appointment and the surgeon confirms what I've already told the doctor that every other person has recommended not to remove it because of the risk. Instead of telling me that it doesn't matter what the surgeon says she wants to remove the teeth anyways the office constantly delays me scheduling my appointment for months telling me that I need to talk to the manager. That the manger is on PTO, they're not back but they'll call me. I finally come in and was able to talk to somebody only for them to tell me that they were stalling me literally... This is a complete waste of my time. This is so unprofessional and not mature at all. What kind of business is this ? 0/10 don't recommend. Mind you I initially got my referral to come here either August or September and we're now in November.

Vita Dental really came through for me and I would recommend this practice to anyone…read more I wound up in a jam with my teeth and in need of a new dentist. I did my research and found Vita Dental and I saw good reviews for them and made an appointment for December 27, 2024. But my teeth were hurting and getting worse, so I called back on December 16, 2024 and asked if maybe they could get me in earlier. I explained that my teeth were hurting on the right side and I was concerned that things were getting worse rapidly. I explained that a 40 years old filling in one of my upper right molars had partially fallen out and that a lower right molar was hurting also. And Vita Dental gave me an appointment for the very next day! December 17, 2024! They sent me an online link to fill out my paperwork in advance so that when I got to my appointment on December 17, 2024 finishing up the paperwork was very quickly completed within 3 minutes after I walked in the door. And I was brought in on time. And everyone at Vita Dental was very kind and very welcoming and very professional. All the imaging equipment was very modern and appeared to be top of the line and brand new. And everyone really knew what they were doing. Dr. Kwon was the dentist who attended to me and I would give the highest possible rating for absolute excellence in his work and absolute care and compassion and a heart of love for his patients. Certainly that was my experience. Dr. Kwon found that there was recurrent decay under the 40 years old filling on #2 upper molar and that it would require a root canal. And Dr. Kwon found that one of my molars on the lower right had extensive recurrent decay under the crown, and would need to be extracted. Dr. Kwon referred me out to ACE Endodontics for that root canal work which I consider to be him acting in my best interest because a root canal should be done by an Endodontist because specialized equipment and specialized training are really what is needed for that work. Dr. Tennary at ACE Endodontics did a magnificent job on that root canal on December 19,2024. And I was back to Dr. Kwon at Vita Dental on December 20, 2024 for the needed extraction in which work Dr. Kwon did a magnificent job. My experience at Vita Dental, is that Dr. Kwon and his team and all the staff are very skillful and committed to absolute excellence in their work and also to care for their patients from a gentle and beautiful heart of love. Love is the right word. And love is a beautiful thing. O Praise be to God! And Thank You, Dr Kwon and all at Vita Dental! I will be sticking with this dentist and this practice. Steven Owen Moore

I specifically requested an appointment due to a broken tooth and having severe tooth anxiety. I…read morerequested nitros oxide to help with the anxiety. The DR came in and asked me if I was sure, she was giving me a really hard time about it saying the mask would be in her way and wouldn't allow her to work effectively I Stuck to my plan and insisted, she seemed really put off. I decided to ask my husband to come sit with me. Also I do not believe the nitros was even on as it didn't help and it always has helped in the past. This time it was like breathing just extra oxygen. Let's go to the follow up. So I went in Saturday and had my extraction site looked at. Everything was fine, my husband wasn't with me at this time. The last thing she said to be is that I need to brush my tongue better as there was a black spot that was fungus. She made this diagnosis with no testing, no follow up information and walked out. I had sucked on a piece of licorice the day before because I was nauseous.however if she suspected fungus on my tongue I would think other than just brush it more would have been warranted. Oh also she almost refused to pull my tooth because I declined the $550 bone graft for the pulled tooth site. It was only after I got my husband that she seemed to halfway fix her attitude. Also she barely left the topical anesthetic on to help with the pain of the shoes and then gave me a shot in the roof of my mouth with no topical. She's a sadist. I would never recommend them to anyone.

The fact that they requested Zelle, should have been my sign to leave. I'm sure they're making more than enough to cover that credit fee and shouldn't be putting it on the patient. Dr. Echeverria was not very friendly and was lacking in bedside manner. She seemed kind of judgmental, even made the comment, "sorry for assuming, most people can tell what I am pointing at" when I asked for clarification on an image. I thought that was very rude. She didn't go over the procedure very much, or seem to want to answer my questions. At the end of my visit, I did not feel comfortable putting my dental care in her hands. The only nice person there was Ana who took my appointment, and the assistant who did my x-rays. They do not offer any kind of financing, nor do they do any kind of cash discounts or payment plans. So if you are a cash patient, I recommend going elsewhere.

Avoid this facility, specifically Dr. Belivand. My experience here has been deeply unprofessional…read moreand hostile since day one due to her condescending attitude. During our appointment, a major hygiene failure occurred. The dental assistant put a hairnet over my son's hair, which had product in it, and then immediately attempted to work inside his mouth with those same gloves. While the assistant was polite and receptive when I corrected the cross-contamination risk, Dr. Belivand defensively interjected to challenge me. Once I stated the facts about the hair particles, she went silent, but then immediately retaliated by power-tripping over a "no phone" policy that was perfectly fine on our previous visit. When I requested a transfer to the male dentist at this location, the office chose to protect Dr. Belivand's ego over accommodating a patient. Today they called to cancel our upcoming Thursday appointment under the guise of a delayed flight and tried to push us out of the practice entirely. They would rather deny a child care and fabricate logistical excuses than hold an unprofessional doctor accountable for standard hygiene violations. I am glad they handled it this way because it saves me the trouble of ever returning to this dysfunctional office. Thank God there are several other dental offices in the Katy area that actually respect parents and prioritize basic patient care.
