I visited for the first time a month ago, it was an excellent experience. Very welcoming staff and very technological machines that they use. The hygienist was super nice and they even have TV's on the ceiling so you can watch something while they do the work! Super cool! I could tell Dr. Katie To was exemplary in what she does. She told me of any concern she might have even not tooth related. read more

Very weird business. Whatever they advertise on the website as being able to provide will not be confirmed by the receptionist. It's seems the receptionist is out of touch with what the offices does or provides. Furthermore without even confirming if biomemtic treatment is available or not a "consultation" fee of $799 is asked upfront to book an appointment. This is without acknowledging whether I'm a candidate or not. Without knowing the full price of treatment. Without even confirming the service is available from the dentist. Odd business practices abd alarming upfront fees. No thanks. read more

UPDATED: The office reached out the same day and was able to explain and remedy my situation, so while I am still overall sad about what got us here, I have to give a huge shout out to the practice lead and Dr. Katie To for correcting the experience and making it right. They do seem to stand by caring for their patients completely, and it seems like my experience was simply an anomaly. -------------------- I truly wanted to have a positive experience with this practice, but unfortunately, I've had several disappointing interactions that I feel are important to share--both as a fair warning to others and in hopes that the practice may be open to resolving the concerns. 1. Lack of transparency and follow-up on payment information -- I've requested copies of the payment forms I signed eight times (once in person, multiple times by email, phone, and voicemail). Despite this, I've still not received any documentation or clear communication around fees--for orthodontic and dental work. 2. Delayed and dismissive handling of records -- After my initial visit with Dr. To, I waited nearly two weeks for answers to my follow up questions, and then decided to request my dental records so I could transition to a new provider. When I followed up today, I was asked to "be patient and wait a few weeks." This felt dismissive, especially given I am in pain and actively seeking timely care. Given the premium pricing and the promise of a holistic, patient-centered approach, I expected a higher level of service, compassion, and professionalism. Instead, I left feeling disregarded, disappointed, and disheartened. If the practice is open to making this right, I would be willing to discuss further. In the meantime, I hope this helps others make informed decisions about their care. read more

I think that Dr To is a very good dentist and I have no issues with the procedures I had there. I showed up for my last appointment after driving the better part of an hour just to be told that my appointment had been cancelled. The person at the desk said they had tried to call me but there were no calls or texts on my phone. I didn't get an email either and when I got home there was no record of their calls on my land line, much less a message. The desk person seemed unconcerned that I had driven from Houston to Katy for nothing, in fact she shrugged her shoulders. Dr To never called me to apologize. I feel like Dr To does not value my business and probably doesn't even know my name. I haven't gotten a reminder from her office. It's as though I never existed. I wasted two hours driving nowhere that day, only to find out that I'm not important to her practice. read more

Are you afraid of the dentist? When I first met Katie I didn't even want to sit by her because she was a dentist. That's how afraid I was of the dentist. She took her time and knew what to do and say to help me to relax to get what I needed done. I can not thank her enough. Now I can truly say I trust her completely. I have taken my children to her as well. My 4 yr old loves her and calls her the best dr ever! She's right too. I will never see anyone else. When you find the best there's no need to look any further. read more

One in a million dentist! Our family just loves Dr. Katie and her team. The things we love about Dr. katie are- she is kind, honest and watch out for what the best for her patients. She does a lot of education to help us maintain our oral/dental health so that we can stay away from major dental and health problems down the road. She has up to date knowledge about her field so that she could provide up to date, top notch dental care for her patients. My little girl adores her. I personally had anxiety with dentists in the past but I overcame that problem once I became Dr. Katie's patient The office staffs are very courteous, gentle and wonderful. The dental hygienist is kind, smart and attentive. We love them all. Thank you all so much. read more

Dr. Katie To, and her staff, were very accommodating with our crazy schedule restrictions. My son cracked his last four baby molars and had to have two removed within one week. Dr. To's Team helped make my son's fear of pain go away and stay away before and after the extractions. We are very appreciative of their professionalism and speed in getting us scheduled, minimal waiting time upon arrival and quick work once in the room. Thanks, Perez family read more

I have loved my experience thus far with Dr. Katie To. Her staff absolutely excels at hospitality! I've never known such a friendly and accommodating dental office. When I first called to book my appointment, I spoke to Loren, and she was so friendly and upbeat over the phone. It really helped me look forward to my appointment as opposed to dreading it. It really does feel more like a relaxing spa experience as some have said in other reviews. Dr. Katie To did an excellent job of sitting down with me and going over my treatment plan. I had quite a bit of issues going on and she went over each one with me in detail and really took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns. Laura, the dental hygienist is so sweet, fun to talk to, and really helped make my deep cleaning a positive experience! Dr. Sheth and Douglas made me feel very comfortable when I had a rather large cavity on the side of my tooth that needed to be filled. She did such an excellent job; I'm very happy with how it looks now! There is one other, but her name escapes me at the moment. I'm so sorry! Thank you for making my first day feel so welcoming! You were fantastic! Thank you Dr Katie To team! read more

Dr. Katie To is a gem to the patients in this community. She is caring, honest and explains all the details. Her team is just as amazing as her. Her office is beautiful, clean and smell great. It's more like a spa and does not feel like a dental office. The patients are given blanket, pillow, lip balm and headphone to watch the show while having their teeth cleaned. The office and dentist carefully explained about diet and nutrition. I love the experience I had at Dr. Katie's office and can't wait to tell all my friends and family to come and see her. read more

Dr. Katie To recently diagnosed stage 2 decay on 2 of my child's teeth and recommended drilling tiny holes and applying a sealant material for approximately $300 out of pocket. The x-rays that they took did not show any signs of decay. They said it was all surface and not visible on x-ray. I was not convinced that my child suddenly had 2 cavities forming since she just had her teeth checked 6 months prior to that appointment by a pediatric dentist that did not see any decay forming. I tried numerous times to contact Dr. Katie To before seeking a second opinion elsewhere. I left multiple messages with her staff, and I never received answers to my questions as to why she was recommending drilling holes and putting sealants when she is registered as a biological dentist. Many biological dentists recommend trying re-mineralization first with early signs of decay. I wanted clarification on why we couldn't try that first. Since I never got a response to that question, I sought a second opinion elsewhere with another natural-minded dentist. My daughter had her second opinion exam a few days ago at another dentist and their conclusion is that there is NO sign of decay. I did not mention seeing Dr. Katie To before the new dentist examined her teeth. However, I specifically asked the new dentist to check the 2 supposedly decaying teeth in question again (just to make sure that they looked thoroughly enough and didn't miss anything). They said no decay present! No early signs of decay, either. Both teeth are solid, no soft spots. Definitely no need for drilling tiny holes to apply sealants. In my opinion, there is zero excuse for someone to diagnose decay when none is present. I also don't understand why drilling and sealants were the first recommendation for "early signs of tooth decay" by someone that is supposed to be a biological dentist. Lesson learned here is buyer beware! Get a second opinion before paying for dental work on your kids. Also, make sure that whoever you pick makes an effort to communicate and has their staff follow-up. If they can't even do that, they don't care enough to keep your business. read more

I love Dr Katie. She is so nice, so sweet, so patient, so insightful. She makes sure to address all your questions and concerns before you leave. She made me and my 23 month old daughter feel welcomed. Even the Assistant Mark was wonderful and sweet. He never left our side the whole stay. The receptionist Cynthia was sweet and helpful. She answered all my questions regarding billing and insurance. I defiantly will recommend this place to everyone. read more

I would give more stars if there was that option. Dr Katie and the staff are the most caring group in a dental office I have ever experienced. ###UPDATE 04/30/19### I returned. today, to have my last amalgam filling removed. It was unsure whether the tooth, itself, could remain, with it already being half broken off. Dr. To and the oral surgeon Dr. G., had both previously consulted with me carefully and thoroughly, so that I knew all of my options to consider and decide for myself, with time to research it. They encouraged me to research and I really liked that. The likely expected result at that time. all pointed to extraction, which I really stressed over because I have learned a lot about the importance of keeping our teeth. Today, Dr. To worked on my safe amalgam removal, with her assistant, Blanca helping. They did a truly amazing job, keeping me comfortable, documenting progress with pictures, and explaining steps. I am thoroughly convinced no other dentist could do the great work of Dr. To. In my opinion, she is skilled in her work on a level very few out there care to be these days. She carefully worked to preserve my tooth and felt confident enough to prep and build it back up. I felt enormous relief receiving the news from her that I was going to keep my tooth! She was going to make it whole, again! I'm truly grateful to her beyond words. I already had high confidence and trust in her skills and knowledge, then, she bumped it up a million notches when she performed nothing short of a miracle. It means so much to me that she cared enough to try, to give it her very best. What a truly amazing and gifted person she is. It reflects in the way her staff is with all of their patience. My hygienist, Andrea, did an equally amazing job with the deep cleaning afterwards. She is so gentle and caring and determined to be sure I was squeaky clean before I left her chair. I will continue to make the drive, every time to go see Dr. To and her staff. They are worth every mile. read more

Dr. Katie To is a great dentist, she saved my teeth! Her team was great too. I am so happy that I went to Dr. Katie and will continue to go to her even though it is a 1hr+ drive for me. She truly cares about you and the health of your teeth and carries out her work with integrity, passion and care. When I came to Dr. Katie via a recommendation, I was in pain from a dentist who had damaged my tooth and provided recommendations for unnecessary work. Dr. Katie was able to give me an honest assessment of what I needed and helped me leave her office with the damaged tooth feeling better. I also must say that her team is awesome. Debbie helped me obtain my dental records and provided much needed support. Wonderful person. Her hygienist and dental assistant are also great at what they do and great company. read more

We had such a great experience the first time we brought our 3 year old son here that we scheduled a 6 month follow-up. Had every intention of showing up, even confirmed my apt 4 days prior. However, my son is 3. He caught a pretty bad cold. I landed at his pediatrician the day before his dental apt. I called to reschedule and the receptionist seemed in great spirits, until I indicated I needed to reschedule. Then I was told as a convenience just this once due to illness, they'd waive my less than 48hr cancelation fee. I told her never mind the reschedule. There are other dentists and front office staff that understand kids get sick without notice. Great place for adults not so much for kids. read more

Dr. To and her team are simply the best. They are kind and compassionate about what they do! I'm so glad to have found Dr. To!

First, I just want to say that I don't normally write reviews unless the experience is absolutely horrible OR absolutely wonderful. My experience at Dr.. Katie To's office was absolutely WONDERFUL. I had my initial visit last week. Everyone at the office was GENUINELY friendly and VERY professional (from Debbie (receptionist) to Blanca (dental assistant) to Andrea (dental hygienist) and Dawn (finance). Check-in and out process was quick and efficient and they don't make you feel rushed. Dr. To spent a considerable amount of time with me and explained everything in detail. She went above and beyond in educating me on the disease process and the treatment options....practically everything I would need to know about my teeth. She and Blanca were so patient through the entire process. Not at any point did I feel rushed to make any decisions. I felt very relaxed and comfortable through the entire 2+ hours I was there. As a person in healthcare as well, I can tell that Dr. To loves her profession and is passionate about doing the best thing for her patients. Andrea did a superb job on cleaning my teeth the following day. Like Dr. To and Blanca, she was professional and had great bedside manner and made me feel at ease. She patiently answered all my questions. I can see that she has a lot passion for her work by her meticulousness. I was very impressed with her just as I was with Dr. To. I seldom experience an office practice where everyone works so smoothly as a team and genuinely cares for the patients; in other words, not like many practices where one feels like they just "treat and street". You can tell that everyone enjoys what they do there and it reflects on how they treat their patients and one another. They show respect, kindness, and patience to everyone. I highly recommend Dr. To and look forward to going back again. read more

Looks like my search for a new dentist has ended! *the staff were all very friendly and (most importantly) efficient. *I got called in right away! *the hygienists took her time and recommended specific diet changes for me to reduce calculus buildup. *Dr. To was knowledgeable, personable, and thorough. *you get reminders for your appointments *their schedule is flexible. *the office was very modern, clean, and comfortable. *they have the latest technology and their intra-oral cameras were very educational! I would definitely recommend Dr. To to anyone looking for a new dentist! read more

Dr. Katie To is one of the most caring dentists I have ever met. She is AMAZING, and she has mad skills when it comes to cosmetic dentistry. I just had my first appointment today with Katie and team. Prior to today I have had some terrible experiences at different dental practices so I was very anxious about my visit today. From the very beginning I felt comfortable, Debbie made me feel at ease with easy conversation whilst waiting and the office has a welcoming feeling. Andrea was the best dental nurse I have ever had, she was so friendly and conversation was great and made me take my my mind of everything. She was thorough and talked me through everything she was doing. Katie was brilliant clear with my treatment plan and also reassured me about all my concerns. I could not ask for a better bunch of people to get me back in track with my dental health. Definitely recommend this business. read more

I moved to the Houston area about 2 and a half years ago from Florida. I grew up there and lived there for 17 years. When you've been in a place that long you find doctors and dentist whom you create long standing relationships with. This, moving 1500 miles away from that you have to upset nearly 17 years of history and start all over again! Finding a dentist was no exception. I take pride in my oral health as I've had braces three separate times in my life. My teeth are an investment which I want to protect. I tried find dentists offices here that I liked. Unfortunately the two to three offices I went to were chains, rather than private practices. Of course they treated me as such. Long story short I was fed up. A coworker told me about Dr. To's office. She and her kids had nothing but great things to say. In promptly made an appointment. I went this past Monday (10/31) and was so happy! I walked in to a professional, clean office. I was greeted by a friendly staff. Dr. To personally came to the waiting room, greeted me, and wanted to actually get to know me! The dental hygienist was so friendly and very accommodating. Dr. To and her staff made me feel as if I was back at my dentist from home! I will absolutely go back and definitely recommend her office to anyone who needs a great dentist! She will take care of you! read more
