Dr. Bader Abdeen and his team took care of this providing a great solution by performing a free graft root which is a minor oral surgery but still requires to be done by a specialist like Dr. Abdeen who is a DDS and MSD. Dr. Abdeen did a diagnostic when I went there the first time and proposed a treatment to solve the problem. I am really happy with the results obtained and how careful and professional they were in doing this work. Every time I need to come in everything goes really smoothly from reception to billing. I usually don't have too much time to wait more than twenty minutes or to schedule appointments during working hours and they have done a really great job in accommodating my in hours I can go to my appointments right after work. This helps me on have my treatment done but also in barely impacting my day. Dr. Abdeen, Amy and all the team at Katy Periodontology and Oral Surgery provides an excellent service and they really care about you. They are really nice and take the time during each appointment to explain what they will be doing, how you are doing vs the plan and go over your questions. Prices are reasonable as well considering the quality of service provided. I do not like to have periodontics treatments done and prefer to do preventive maintenance to avoid any problems. However, if I have to, I will definitely come back any time I need to Katy Periodontology and Oral Surgery.

Went to my general dentist on Tuesday (11/28/23 at 12pm) who confirmed everything I thought and they referred me to this office (per my dentist I needed a emergent tooth extraction done). I called this office same day around 2:30pm or so, and long story short I was booked for a emergent tooth extraction 2 days later on Thursday. Pre-oral surgery: Now I am hella nervous (I'm typically with doctor's appointments but dentist's appointments I'm freaking out. Something about any type of metal tool item in my mouth that does it for me). Anywho, I was instructions of what to do via text message (I.e no eating/drinking 8 hours before the timeframe and to bring along another driver over the age of 18) and all instructions followed to a "T". During: On, Thursday 11/30/23; I arrived for my appointment at 10:30am for 11:00am appointment to be on the safe side. Insurance was verified and paperwork signed. Dr. Michael went over everything in about 10 minutes, and the doctor explained it would be localized rather than general anesthesia. I said okay, and I was in the surgery room for like 30 minutes; localized anesthesia given, expected cracking of the tooth occurred, doctored irrigated the area to cleansed the wound of infection, viola the area was sutured and I was done (all under an 1 hour. Honestly fastest and pain free appointment ever. I was shocked). After: the pain is minimal and just taking the doctor's orders if alternating between Tynelol and Ibuprofen. P.S. the customer service was awesome. I can really tell the staff and the doctor cares. Doctor actually checked up on me, the day after and I was like so surprised (what doctor does that, besides a PCP perhaps??? This doctor has very good bedside manner). They gained a client like forever, but I did tell them that hopefully I won't need their tooth extracting services anytime soon cause I like my natural teeth. I will however be back for a dental implant. Verdict: 5/5 stars. I honestly have no complaints. Coke here, if you need a very good oral surgeon.

Everyone is very professional and the practice is absolutely spotless. Even though we've moved about 30 minutes away from this practice, we still make the drive to come here. Dr. Kumar is also wonderful, he truly cares about his patients and really spends time with you (even for a general cleaning). Definitely the best dentist we've had! I would recommend this practice, hands down, to anyone.

But she took my call and had me laughing in no time, which really helped because I was in so much pain. A little backstory, my braces were removed in 2021. A year later, my permanent retainer was moving my teeth. My orthodontist took full blame and put braces on the bottom of my teeth to correct them. The process was finished in April. Well, the left side of my head and face became very painful. The orthodontist said the retainer mold was wrong and replaced that... Fast forward, I moved to Texas, and now I'm at the doctor's because my face is swollen, and on to the Berkeley Eye Center. I'll spare you the rest. So now, I have the kindest woman named Sherri on the phone, who I consider a friend now. She told me to come on in, she'll send the paperwork through email, and she'll see me at two. She didn't stop there; once I got there and finished the exam, I thought I had to come back for them to put the proper braces on. Nope, Sherri said we can do the braces today, and they did! No more pain for me. Thank you, thank you so much, Sherri!

He removed a well-placed cap and bridge--work that had been done properly by a previous dentist--in order to treat a cavity in a nearby tooth. According to a new dentist I saw in Elbridge, this was completely unnecessary and should never have been done. To make matters worse, the fillings he used were of poor quality, leaving me with discomfort and embarrassment, including bad breath. I struggled for a long time to find someone willing to correct the work he did. It wasn't until I found a compassionate and ethical dentist in Elbridge that I fully understood the extent of the damage and poor decision-making that occurred. There are dentists who respect their patients and practice with integrity--and sadly, there are those who don't. Dental care is not just technical work; it involves trust, ethics, and responsibility. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. No one should go through what I went through. They must understand if someone is going to their practice because they trust them and messing them up ruthlessly is a bad karma no matter which race the patient.
