Unfortunately, payment service has been worse every month. Staff started to add paid service line ( I made a payment in an office) to the insurance claim and sure insurance doesn't covered it. After that, they were sent an additional bill for the uncovered line. I understood everyone has made mistake, this is normal. But I really disappointed following experience: When I tried to explain this issue to the staff, they didn't give me chance to showed my evidence and explained my situation. After 15 minutes uncomfortable conversation staff finally listened me and agreed that they claimed insurance incorrectly. And final point this discussion they told me about my accent..... I don't know how my accent related your fault... but this is reason to thinking about next visits this clinic... read more

Went in for my semi-annual cleaning, and it was noted after MANY years, that I needed to replace a filling. Fortunately, Dr. Fey and his top notch team was able to get me in the very next day. Friends had told me the procedure would be painful. Well, I did NOT feel a thing! I even joked about how "therapeutic" the visit was. I was told there might even be some temperature sensitivity...possibly a week, and maybe up to a month! I can tell you, I drove to Smoothie King directly after the procedure, and felt fine. Ate sizzling fajitas for dinner, no issue! A client of mine is a dental hygienist and has been trying to lure me over to her dentist for some time. Pffsshhhh, I can tell you, Jeffrey and his CINCO RANCH DENTAL team will forever be part of my family! See you back in May!!!! read more

This place is great.... IF YOU ARE WEALTHY. The office is gorgeous!!!! The staff was really nice and explain everything in detail. The dentist himself is very calm and very friendly. If you're a high roller and have deep pockets - this is your place! A great place for the super wealthy! I'm just a normal average income person. Haha! I went in thinking I would get an X-ray and cleaning and overall teeth wellness. Ohhh nooo.... They did do like 20 X-rays but then it's just a consultation... to determine "what kind of cleaning you need." After they determined I need the MOST deep clean ($650 with insurance and $1300 without) that involves lasers.... And then a follow up to make sure I healed from the lasers (for $250 with insurance).... And then regular 4 month maintenance cleanings (for $100). And then I asked... why can't I just get a normal teeth cleaning? They said it would be MALPRACTICE to give me any treatment that's less than what my mouth NEEDS. Does that mean every dentist that's given me a normal cleaning has been malpractice?! I don't think so. LOL! And then if you say you don't want to do it... they tell you your teeth will eventually fall out of your mouth because you're not cleaning all the bacteria out. I'll take my wallet and bacteria elsewhere. Sorry... y'all are super nice, but this is a RICH PERSON DENTIST! read more

Love all of the staff. Makes me feel so comfortable! Always can get in & out, as they are on time!

I've been going to Dr. Fey since the mid '90s and have had nothing but great service. All the staff at Cinco Ranch Dental are very professional and friendly. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

Dr. Fey and his staff are wonderful! I have seen them for many years and they are always cheerful and make my life easy where my dental needs are concerned. If you're looking for a family friendly dental office, you've found it. read more

The best dental experience I've ever had! The girls in the front are very knowledgeable and all of the staff are very friendly. Lauren, the hygienist, is wonderful and I highly recommend her. She has great bedside manner and knows how to make you feel comfortable, even if you are someone who doesn't enjoy the dentist! read more

I visited this place to get a referral for loose implants to a specialist. They ignored my case and charged my insurance for several x rays and recommended unnecessary treatment and totally ignored my case. I will not recommend them to anyone. read more

Dr Fey and his staff are the best. I'm so grateful to be in his care. Thank you Dr Fey.

I had to go back to Dr. Fey to get a crown today and he and his staff are amazing. I have extreme dental anxiety and hate even getting my teeth cleaned. They knew I was nervous and they were so comforting and explaining everything they were going to do. He checked on me multiple times to make sure I was doing okay during the procedure and his assistant was just as wonderful. I hope I never have to go back to the dentist but if I do it will be 100% him! Best experience possible for somebody who is terrified of any type of dentist office visit. read more

Dr Fey has been our family dentist for around 15 yrs now. Very good and professional. We love their staff, I feel he is very popular in the neighborhood as I always find friends there. If it is hard to get an appointment here, probably is because he has lots of customers, then you can Go somewhere else. Before you leave there for your annual or bi-annual Prophylaxis be sure to make you next visit appointment. But most important... PEOPLE brush your teeth and use dental floss. Then you can avoid Dr Fey to drill into your teeth. read more

They had to send my crown back four times before it was finally done right.... could they not measure it correctly? Or was the lab just making that many mistakes? I am not sure, but it was miserable having to go back so many times and being told they couldn't seat the crown because it didn't fit that many times and I had to wait 2-3 weeks every time. read more

I had my first appointment with Dr. Fey about a year ago ad can't remember a dental visit that was as pleasant and productive. Today, February 9, 2016. I returned with a new problem. I feel sure that I will be as [leased in the results as I was a year ago. The offices are the most attractive I've seen. Joyce Rasco co read more

You should go to this dentist's office, if you love being bullied by snobbish, patronizing secretaries! I called their office and remained on the phone with them while they contacted my insurance company and verified that the procedure needed for my step-son was covered. After making this determination, I set an appointment and had the dental work completed - in July 2011. I didn't hear anything from them until it was time to make another appointment, in December 2011. When they said I owed them $227.00. When I questioned this, they said if I didn't pay it by the end of the month, they would report me to a collection company. WOW! I had been going to this dentist for almost three years! And never had an outstanding balance! They spoke to me like I was a complete moron for making such a stupid mistake with my insurance. "Well, you know," condescending, Kathy said, with a chuckle, "your insurance is your responsibility." read more

Great dentist office. Dr. Fey is very personable and always does a great job. Have been going to him for ten years and I always come out with a better smile read more

I would never use this dentist. We used him for a year as a dentist, and were totally ripped off. He charged my husband and son to do a prophylactic cleaning. Which is a cleaning that I found out involves pulling the gums down and scraping the bone, and this was not the service that we were given. We charge 225 for one person and then charged 600 for the my son. I was told by the secretary that I did not even have insurance really and that it was a discount program. This was the first time that I had ever heard that in 30 years of working with Shell. So after that was said to me, I contacted my insurance company to find out. They told me that they had never filed anything with the insurance company. Not only would I not use this dentist, I contend that he should actually be turned into the ethics board for dentistry. read more

Outstanding customer service! From the receptionist, to dental hygienist, to the dentist himself. The office is clean and beautifully decorated. They sent me a confirmation text and took me on time. The dental hygienist explained everything and gave me a expert cleaning. Was recommend by a friend and will recommend others. A++ read more

One of the BEST dental experiences I've had! I had not been to the dentist in over 4 years since the birth of my last child, and definitely wasn't looking forward to the experience. Entire staff is friendly, professional, and personable. Had a cavity on one of my wisdom teeth, and all other dentists have recommended extracting. Dr. Fey was able to resolve it with a crown. The Christian music is a definite plus!! read more

Dr. Fey was wonderful!!! My daughter and I saw him today and she said, "Mom I don't want to go to any other dentist". This coming from my teenage daughter who was cringing the entire way there. For my exam he was very thorough. He went over my xray on a big screen TV in my exam room and went tooth by tooth front and back. His staff was very friendly and when we checked out they worked out a payment plan that fits my budget. I haven't been to the dentist in...A while. I would Definitely recommend Dr. Fey to anyone who appreciates customer service and awesome bed side manner for a change. read more

Very friendly staff! When I walked in, the receptionist was tied up on the phone. Seeing she could not get off the line, she grabbed the attention of another employee to assist me. The office is pristine. Dr. Fey is friendly, professional, and does everything to make you feel comfortable for your procedure! My 13 yr old son has been going for several years now. He loves the video games while you wait and tv during the procedure. Makes it easy on everyone! read more

I just experienced my first teeth cleaning at this location. The office is very nicely decorated and the staff was very friendly. The tech that did my teeth cleaning was very knowledgeable and thorough. I definitely recommend this dental office. read more

I have been going here for a while now and this has never happened but tofay they rescheduled my appointment twice and then uncancelled my previous appointment it was very frusturating and I didn't know my appointment was back on until an hour before. I'm a planner so I like to know ahead of time so overall it was a very aggregative experience. read more

Front office staff are terrible. Took me forever to get an appointment, received an email about the date of the appointment last week. Only to find out I somehow no longer have an appointment and there is nothing they can do about it. They don't know how it could disappear. *eye roll* read more

Best dentist visit I have ever had. Appointment started right on time, staff was courteous and friendly and the facilities are unbelievable. Dental assistant was extremely detailed in explaining what was happening and x rays showed up on a nice digital screen I could watch while being taken. Front office was 100% transparent about costs and insurance and even have me tips about splitting visits to ensure insurance covered a greater portion of my costs. Very surprised to see the other low ratings about Cinco Ranch Dental. I wholeheartedly disagree and would recommend without hesitation read more

Office moved, and many of the nice employees left. I was treated by the dentist a year ago and had a great experience, very caring staff. I went back recently, and was told I needed a deep cleaning- okay. When I explained that I could not afford this extra treatment at this time, I would just like to have this one tooth treated. The financial rep then said 'Okay, I guess we're done here.' The tech who took my X-rays was nice, she comes back with a treatment plan, written out by the dentist. Then she explained that he was too busy to see me, in a surgery. Huh? No one looked in my mouth, nothing but x-rays, not even a complete exam. I go to check out, and I hear him in his office, speaking with another employee. Not even once did he at least come to say 'hello.' I was promised a treatment plan by email with prices, because Polly wanted to make sure the prices were correct. I never got the information. No one should go to receive service and get blown off. I was so upset that the practice has changed from a caring business to the poor treatment and service I received that day. read more

The front office staff does NOT do a good job. They rescheduled my appointment more than twice, always the day before I was about to go in. When I would call to reschedule they would always say that the time I had originally scheduled was not correct. I had to wait over 3 months to get a cleaning done. They charged me before hand for dental work, and then the day I went in to get the work done, they said I owed more than what I paid. When I told them I already paid, they had to "research" it. They then realized that they gave me a discount for paying early so I was good to go, really, you don't take notes on what you say to people??!! The front office staff does not know how to do their job and because of them, I will NEVER go back to Cinco Ranch Dental. I also got work done on a tooth that continues to hurt. It has been looked at and "fixed" and still hurts and it's been over two months. read more

Overall, I was very happy with my first experience at Cinco Ranch Dental. The front receptionist was very friendly (greeted me hello and told me to have a good weekend when I left), the young lady who brought me back and took my X-Rays was very patient, kind, and gentle, and Dr. Fey was wonderful, personable, and quick to diagnose my issue. I am currently twenty-two weeks pregnant and began having a slight pain in my tooth on a Tuesday, but by Friday of the same week, it was more than I could bare, so I called the office back and they had me scheduled to come in by 11:15 AM that day. Turns out, I was in need of a root canal, had an infection, and would be returning shortly for a crown. Dr. Fey immediately prescribed an antibiotic and by the following Tuesday, had referred me to Dr. Alawadhi for my root canal. I was very nervous for the well-being of my baby, anxious, and overwhelmed. I had never had this extensive of work done on my mouth, but everyone was quick to accommodate...and with such an understanding manner. I am so appreciative of this dental office for making my experience run as smoothly as possible! I look forward to many more positive visits. read more

I am having the same problem as Margo mentioned in the previous review. I have been seeing Dr, Fey for the last four years and didn't have problem until he hired a new admin crew. They are compltely incompetent, I am being charged $151.00 for what they say is an old charge that was overlooked, but they refuse to provide me with an itemized statement after requesting twice by phone and twice in person. I have resorted to sending the request by certified mail to ascertain that they receive it and I have prove that I've been requesting it. read more

Fast Complete and thorough with clear explanation of the procedures!

I have had nothing but good experiences with this office. They have always gone the extra mile to deal with my insurance to make sure I pay the minimum or nothing out of pocket. They have worked with me on scheduling appointments around a hectic traveling job. Very informative and conscientious staff. My family speaks highly of CRD as well. read more

The dental office was clean and staff was professional; however, I did not appreciate not being disclosed for services I did not request. I went in for a simple check-up and cleaning that was free from my insurance. I specified this by phone and on paperwork. Upon checkout, they charged me $54 for a gum check-up, which was not disclosed to me before doing the exam. Please be sure if you visit this office to assure NOTHING is done with your teeth because they will charge you for it. read more

Pros: Cleaned my teeth well the 3-4 times i went there. They were always nice to me and it seemed like they always had the latest and greatest equipment. Doctor was very friendly and kind. They had coffee and video games in the waiting room which is great for kids (or an adult who is a kid at heart). So as far as the service goes, I would rate it a 5 star. Cons: My wallet was always lighter when i left the office. almost each visit, i felt pressured to pay for extra services not covered by my insurance. (lastest story below) Summery: I will never go back to them. there are plenty of dentists, and i don't mind being told i SHOULD have a service done, but i don't want to be denied a toyota because i don't want the BMW. (so to speak) My insurance provides 2 free cleanings each year. When i went into the office for one of those FREE cleanings, they would not do the service until they did a SPECIAL $40 periodontal check(which was not covered under my insurance. After i said "whatever, go ahead and do the periodontal check" the person checking my teeth found a "#5" which means that i failed the test. so now they want to do a "Deep Clean" to my teeth. Which is $650 now, and an additional $215 in a few months. (which they was after my insurance). So for my FREE cleaning, was going to be over $900. So i declined the "deep cleaning". then they said, "okay, we'll check you out up front". I then inquired to why I hadn't received the FREE cleaning that i should get ever 6 months. they replied that they would not clean my teeth at all if i didn't do the deep cleaning for liability reasons. This isn't the first time that i felt they pressured me to pay for something extra, but this is the first time that i refused their services, and in turn they refused service to me. So in the end, i left paying $40 and received nothing in return (except a free cup of coffee in the lobby) read more

We just switched to this dentist and at my husband and my first appointment they said we both needed a deep cleaning ($350) and that we couldn't just get a regular cleaning (covered by insurance). Strange coincidence in my opinion, especially since this has never been a problem. Then I had one cavity that needed replaced filing costing $850. I have never had to pay $1200 at any appointment and I've had dental issues. Not sure what is up with the crazy costs but felt very deceived bc when I left from the dentist I was told overall my teeth weren't to bad then boom $1200. Seems pretty bad to me. Left very frustrated. Everyone was nice but this was just insane. read more
