The staff was kind, patient, and made my 7-year-old daughter feel comfortable throughout her visit.

My daughter felt very comfortable when getting her fillings. As soon as we got there the front staff greeted us with a smile. The care team made sure that she was comfortable and she did not feel any pain. Thank you to all the staff. read more

Imagine that you're eating some fried chicken and suddenly your 2nd molar falls out. Yes sir, sure did! Thank you Yelpers for recommending HD, because after sending a Yelp message to them, presto: my appointment was made. Once I anrrived, I filled out online forms and my dental insurance was captured. The front desk staff are efficient and friendly. The hygienist Danielle is fantastic. My individual teeth Xrays and panoramic Xrays were complete before I knew it. Dr. Tri is thorough as he is gentle. My root canal was painless, and my prescriptions were correctly called into, effortlessly. I will have a follow up in a month and expect the same seamless professionalism. 5/5 solid dental service and I highly recommend. read more

My husband was having a tooth emergency this weekend and we were able to get in at 11 am. The office is very cozy and relaxing, they have a coffee machine which was great because we were there for a few hrs for an emergency extraction. The staff was fabulous from the front office staff to the hygienist. We were visited by 2 Dr and the care my husband received was top notch. I would definitely recommend them. The office and equipment is modern and new and they have wonderful technology that they use. Well done to the whole staff. Thank you for taking great care of my husband because tooth pain is no joke. read more

I relied on Heritage for my dental care, however, they seem to prioritize profit over patient well-being. Following a routine cleaning, I experienced severe pain within a short period and sought immediate attention. A simple cleaning procedure could have resolved the issue in a matter of minutes. Nevertheless, they insisted on performing a costly deep cleaning on a specific tooth or gum area. Despite the estimated cost being $75, they took advantage of the situation and charged me $193, citing that my insurance did not cover the procedure. This experience is regrettable. I have decided to terminate my association with them and advise others to thoroughly explore alternative options before seeking treatment there. For instance, they proposed a fee of $450 for teeth whitening, a service available at numerous other facilities for under $200. Exercise caution and make informed choices, everyone read more

didn't care for my experience customer service was okay bed side manner with the dental assistant was a bit rough and wasn't as welcoming at first and if you don't qualify for a regular cleaning they make you get a deep cleaning which is $800 dollars if you don't want to pay that you are stuck paying $79 dollars for just a xray smh. Go-to place to get the best dental care! I've had work done at other place and always go through pain with them. They are very thorough and informative and the staff has always been the kindest to me even though I'm horrible at maintaining my dental regiment. Pain obviously is dependent on the person, but I've been through the worst, and this place is the most manageable. Even if I get care for free, I would rather pay to go through them! read more

So i came here to get a root canal it was a disaster from the start. I had to go several times for 2hours each time the dentist seemed to lack confidence. He couldn't seem to get my tooth numbed correctly which resulted in a lot of pain for me. Finally the day came to put the crown on another 2hours of drilling and grinding because it didn't fit correctly. Now several weeks down the road everytime i eat i get pain in the tooth which a REAL DENTIST office told me was because the crown was put on wrong. So if i want to get rid of the pain i have to get this crown removed and replaced for more money! Never go to this place! read more

I have an appointment at Heritage Dental, but when I came they said move to other day, wast my time

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!! If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would!!! Yes, they have great reviews...but that is because they are bribing their customers by giving out yetis, tshirts and other swag to write 5 star reviews. They are extremely for profit and find every single thing that could be wrong with you. I've never had anything wrong with my teeth and magically they find about 10 things wrong and tell me that I must cough up around $3,500 and they can do a payment plan blah blah blah, it was crazy how they were so chill about it like it was normal for them. I would never recommend this place to anyone that I cared about and even people I didn't care about. I tried To go for a second opinion somewhere else and they wouldn't even Email my personal X-rays to the other more reputable dentist office. They kept telling them that they "emailed them" but didn't. This place is unethical and unreasonable. NEVER GO HERE! read more

If I could give this location zero stars I would. For close to a year I had to get them to adjust a visit in which I was charged for a complete root canal and found when I kept having pain that it was incomplete. On that day I paid over $300. I ended up going somewhere else to get the service completed, due to pain I kept getting. After 4 months they finally sent a reprocessed claim to my insurance and after discussing with my insurance my patient responsibility should have been about $100. I went to the office and called a few times and have yet to receive my refund. If I were you I would make sure that the service they are charging you are correct and that they are really doing it. They charged me for a service that when I called my insurance I shouldn't have paid for because it was covered by my insurance. I received these services back in Oct 2023 and I am still waiting for them to call me back. It is terrible that they have just one person running the front named Andrea and even she will not take the time to look into it. This used to be the dental office I would recommend people to go to, now the minute I hear someone tell me they go there, I advise them to be careful. read more

Today I had a dentist appointment just a routine cleaning and was greeted by front desk and then I was seen by Dr. Tran the dentist guy.. He was so nice and very knowledgeable and communicating everything that was going in with my mouth and chart. I enjoyed my experience today, and actually everytime I've been going I've haven't had no complaints Highly recommend this dentist office if your in the Katy area. The owner is really cool as well. Thanks Heritage Dental see ya next time! read more

I had 4 cavities filled at this office, I went back for a check 6 months later they didnt say anything to me about that tooth, went back for another 6 month check up I was told I needed a root canal. I explained to them that the tooth that I needed a RC in was filled by them and I had a check up 6 months prior. They then I guess look at my records and tell me this happened bc i have bad teeth. Umm,, no what happened was the dentist didn't fill the tooth properly so it started decaying under the filling. They refused to fix it ,they refused to give me my medical records. I wish i could make them have some responsibility for putting me through the lies the disrespect the bad dentistry and money I did not have to get my tooth fixed. Just awful. Toal cost was over 3 thousand dollars to fix the mistake. It was really heartbreaking experience. read more

5 stars for this dental office and all the kudos to my hygienist, Amy? I think that was her name. But truly, she's a gem! I'd return even just to see her for my biannual cleanings! read more

Update after my first appointment, after they asked to do a review. I don't do much review but I did when they asked. Do not go to this place they charge you for everything and try to up sell you, today even for evaluation that cause the problem from crown they did last appointment and they deny so charge me for today. I paid today for nothing. Don't look at alm the good ratings and just see all the bad ones.. They all say the same things and that says something.. when everyone says the same thing about a certain place or something most likely they are the truth. That was the last straw. Also unprofessional when they speak in the front office about me think I'm in the way back room I can't hear and my situation I can hear everything them laughing the way they speak about me I'm not gonna say any specifics, but very unprofessional.. Bunch of millennials. At first I thought maybe new and hip but old school is the way to go.. Also believe when did it my crown they purposely did not give me the numbing solution with q-tip before they did the numbing shot because I asked for a discount right before cause they used up all my insurance allowance and they didn't like it. I swear right after he went and said something to the girls at front and all laughed.. Maybe said that some revenge or some thing. Or it was a huge coincidence something funny happened right after he gave me the shot but I highly doubt it. I can't prove it but when they sent me to a specialist week before, I didn't feel anything there cause doctor there put numbing with qtip then poke gently tk check if I felt anything. If not he out more till he made sure I didn't feel anything, but I felt everything here didn't do anything like the specialist did so you tell me what's wrong there. My dentist was a young korean American just like me so I thought he would take care if me but definitely was not the case.. Trust is everything with your dentist or any doctor and if you want that, do not go here and also if you want to save money. Cancel my account. I am never going back. horrible just horrible. Reply Then why didn't I get the same numbing like the specialist did for me before the shot and the second time I went he pushed it down even harder. First time it hurt and second time was 10 times worse. It just didn't make any sense. Anyways lesson learned check reviews before hand as lots I didn't even mention are the same things I read about. That being said. Inflicting pain, intentionally or not he still didn't follow the same procedures like the specialist and inflicted me unnecessarily pain. read more

I preface this review by saying when me and my husband started, everything was great! We started off by seeing Dr. Nguyen who owns the dentistry and since then, I think we have each seen him twice. I enjoyed the dentistry because aesthetically it is very pleasing and the dental hygienists are very thorough and nice. However; the past year has been atrocious. I had an appointment a little over a month ago that was canceled the day prior and I wasn't made aware of the cancellation until then, the front desk couldn't or wouldn't tell me who cancelled it but did say it was due to business needs. Ok, that was fine and I was not charged the cancellation fee because I did not cause the cancellation. I asked to speak to a manager and was told someone would call me back which didn't occur. I had to demand to speak to the manager when my appointment was rescheduled. I informed the manager that I did not appreciate a cancellation without my knowledge until the day prior. Apologies were given and that is fine. Fast forward to a couple of weeks after that when I had to get a couple of fillings done which went well, but there were some issues with sensitivity and I called approximately a week after the work was done to schedule to come in to have the situation rectified. I was told that they would let someone know and I would be called to schedule an appointment to come in which was a falsehood. Would you believe another week went by and I called in on a Saturday and asked the front desk were notes taken that I had called about this issue and she stated yes but said she wasn't sure what happened but she did schedule me to come in the following Monday a few days later and Dr. Cao fixed the problem. Unfortunately, this was the coup de gras. My husband had an appointment scheduled for later this month *August* and I called and cancelled his appointment and also cancelled the appointment for my checkup which would have been in February. I was asked why and I stated because the front desk isn't handling their responsibilities as they should and because obviously myself and my husband aren't valued as patients that the business relationship is being terminated. I also stated that our files could be shredded and if a manager or Dr. Nguyen himself chooses to call me, I might consider keeping the practice as our dentistry. I've yet to receive a call and this was 2 weeks ago. I have already found another dental practice for us and my husband was seen on Thursday. If you want to deal with a lackadaisical front office staff, this is where you can go. read more

Be careful with this dentist! They told me my 10 year old had several cavities and needed fillings. I got a second opinion because they wanted to charge me way too much for her fillings even though she had some done last year. The new dentist said she had a tiny spot on her baby tooth that will be falling out this year but he said not to worry since it's about to fall on its own. The treatment pricing coordinator (the one who explains pricing) is terrible here and she had argued with me twice already in such an unprofessional manner. She got upset because I questioned pricing and asked for explanations on differences in the adult vs child cleaning. She said that the reason the adult cleaning cost more is because my teeth are dirty! Please get a second opinion if you've been here! read more

I would give no stars if it were possible. The consultation for teeth whitening is not free. The whole process is a SCAM! You are told on the phone that the teeth whitening consultation is free but when you arrive you find out that they want to do an entire examination and charge you for it. The whole method to get you to the door and try to get money out of you is so unprofessional. I would never recommend them or go here. if they have to get their clients by lying it says everything about the dentist in the practice. I have no doubt that during the exam all of a sudden most the patients end up supposedly having cavities and gum disease. I do not recommend this place to anyone! read more

I had a temporary crown come off on Saturday morning. I found Heritage Dental on Yelp. I called and was given an appointment an hour out from the time I called. I was sent form to complete right to my cell phone. The dental hygienists were very professional and gentle with the X-rays, pictures and the exam. Dr. Hieu Nguyen took time to talk with me and review my options. He affixed my temporary crown. I was very appreciative of the great service on a Saturday morning. read more

I do not recommend them, they are garbage today, 12/12/2023, I went to extract a tooth, where I was very specific to the secretary which tooth I was going to extract, but due to not knowing how to speak English and the doctor not knowing how to speak Spanish, They call the cashier's secretary to translate the query, where due to poor translation and secret information they extract the tooth that was not, so much bad attention that only after finishing the malpractice, they were so inhumane that they did not give me neither medical indications nor for pain nor a medical report read more

If I had the option to select zero stars I would. Every time my children and myself visit the office it felt as though we was being racially profile. The doctor is so rude and shows signs of frustration as if she does not like her job. This type of leadership has poison the staff at this office. It is not a place I would recommend anyone to go due to the horrible and unkindly service. When I confronted the doctor about her frustration she stated she had a long day and stormed out the room. This is the main reason why people don't go to the dentist we are afraid to trust due to the lack of empathy and patience, and compassion. I will never go here again and will tell everyone about the horrible experience. read more
