You may wish to get a second opinion after meeting with Dr George. Some recommendations may not be needed. I met with Dr Lincy George in mid-2024. I had recently joined a Medicare advantage plan with dental coverage, so I decided to get my teeth cleaned and checked, since it had been a while since my last checkup. I did not have any pain or issues with my teeth. I flossed once per day and brushed twice per day using an electric toothbrush. The office personnel were professional and friendly. I liked Dr George when I met her. My teeth were x-rayed. I informed them that I only wanted x-rays covered by insurance. They used a machine that did a 3D image of my teeth, which ended up not being covered. They wrote it off and did not charge me. My teeth were examined and charted by Dr George. It was a thorough exam. After the exam was completed, she went over her recommendations. It was a long list of two crowns needed, ten fillings, and periodontal gum therapy. It was overwhelming and hard to believe. Dr. George suggested we start with the most needed filling, and said she could start on the crowns that day. I agreed. Now in hindsight, I regret doing the crowns right away. Those teeth were not giving me any problems or discomfort. It is almost one year later, and those two crowns now give me hot/cold sensitivity that I did not have before. Next, Doctor George told me I needed perio-scaling, root planning, gingival irrigation, and localized antimicrobials on my upper left/right, and lower left/right gums. They did not clean my teeth during that first appointment. I was told they do not clean teeth when gum therapy is recommended. Apparently, it is okay to start crowns and do a filling though, just not clean teeth. For someone who regularly flosses and brushes, needing periodontal work, did not make sense to me. I decided to get a second opinion about the need for periodontal gum therapy from a recently retired board-certified periodontist. After reviewing the available information, he could not see any indications that periodontal work such as scaling, irrigation, and antimicrobials were necessary. I decided to go to another dentist this year, since I lost confidence in Dr George. Without describing my previous experience, I asked if he saw any need for periodontal gum therapy, he indicated he saw no need for it and that my gums were what he would expect from a person my age. This confirmed the opinion of the retired periodontist. When a dentist recommends a treatment that I discover later was not necessary, then it naturally raises a question in my mind that possibly the crowns were not necessary either. Maybe it is the insurance money (greed) that drove some of these questionable recommendations. If Dr George truly believed I needed all this work on my teeth and gums, then maybe that speaks to her competence. Seeking a second opinion, tough inconvenient, can be necessary. read more

10 minute grace period for the patient but what about the doctor who has patients waiting for longer than the appointment? I was going to try this dentist out but the fact that I had to fill out an entire form with follow up confirmations to get an appointment scheduled and then sent another form to fill out before the appointment with very similar questions is too much. Especially if you want it filled out before the appointment sent via spam text. I was hoping they would be gracious but because my form that I had very similar questions had to be filled out before they told me they had to cancel my appointment when I was half way there. When you see your patients as a number only and not human I guess you can't expect it. I will be finding a local family dentist that doesn't treat potential patients like a number. read more

Ok you guys....I normally try to make my reviews funny but this one is extremely serious......I should of known that the outcome wouldn't be good.... Don't get me wrong the staff is amazing but the work being performed is of question....to make a long story short I ended up asking for a refund on a $800 dollar root canal...I had to go see a specialist because this company and 2 different locations and several follow ups...weren't able to do the work the right way.....also the pricess are waaay to high.....they were charging $1000 for work my new dentist did for $99...they had me sign a release that I wouldn't share anything regarding their work....this is a red flag... This is the most unorganized dentist/orthodontics office I have ever been to in my 35 years of perfect teeth. They try to charge for things that are included in insurance. There appointment scheduling is horrible. Most recently, I take off of work to bring my daughter, and they tell " sorry our compressor isn't working ". This place is great for dentistry but oral surgery side quoted me twice what I expected to pay based on the same work I had done other places so I declined to move forward with the operation. However, the office staff is friendly and responsive and the dental staff impressed me. Since I wasn't doing the surgery to replace a tooth I had lost, I got an impression and imaging done for a clear retainer with a fake tooth so I can stop looking goofy. The dental tech took the first impression and it didnt come out great. Then they dentist tried to remake it without the fake tooth and it didn't fit well either but was noticeable better quality. After the second attempt, the dentist apologized and sent out my images to DDS Lab and I received it just under 2 weeks later. It's fit perfectly without any altering and it looks absolutely amazing! I finally can smile again and not feel uncomfortable! I was just so impressed with the staff's ability to get me in for same-day appointments and they did the work until it was done right without trying to charge me extra. Talk about absolutely ridiculous seeing as how they received our insurance information an entire week prior to the appointment. Never actually made it in to the dentist, but if their office is half as disorganized as the scheduling staff, I would think twice. Made an appointment on a Monday, and was pleasantly surprised they could get me in on the same Saturday for a cleaning. Got a call a couple days later from their other location, and they actually never scheduled the appointment, and wanted to schedule me at their next available Saturday in October. There are plenty of dental offices around Katy, so no thank you! read more

I will give them a two for decor. I have been here twice. Once with my daughter and once with my husband. My daughter left in tears from a deep cleaning. She cried for 3 hours. My husband needed more extensive work done and was in pain. We couldn't afford the hefty 1200 price tag for one tooth so we chose to come back. When asking for pain or antibiotic meds we were told no antibiotics were needed even though there was a infection in the tooth and no pain meds because the doctor doesn't give them. I had to ask for at least some ibuprofen that she did prescribe. The room was very nosy. You could hear everyone's conversation and payment information. Very impersonal. I visited this location the very week it opened as one of my friends was employed there. Very clean and kind staff for the dental side. Dr. George and her assistants were good to me when I was a patient there. However when I decided to start my orthodontic treatment with Dr. Mo is when my troubles began. The day of my first consult to get pricing and treatment options was very rushed. I saw Dr. Mo for a few minutes, he showed me YouTube videos showing what my treatment would be to fix my overbite (headgear, extractions, or forsus Springs). He said I did not have to choose any of these until we got to a point in the treatment where I would need them which was after he aligned my teeth. I did NOT choose one of the 3 options given that day. I was told depending on the option I chose my payment would go up per month. After working out a payment I left and came back a month later. Everything went well until the assistants started putting spacers in to attach metal rings on my back molars. There was miscommunication between the staff and I had to get spacers in twice. I did not know at the time that these metal rings were for the headgear which meant Dr. Mo chose one of the options for me without telling me. I was VERY upset at this since that was in my opinion the last option I wanted as an adult with braces. I tried to tell Dr Mo I wanted the springs which he then tried to say he had no clue what I was saying. Of course there was absolutely NO DOCUMENTATION signed by me saying that I agreed to him putting headgear appliances. Dr Mo and staff became very rude to me from then on bc I had disagreed with what he had done. He tried to then say that if I didn't chose the headgear I had to see a dental surgeon to put screws (TADS) in my gums and each screw cost me $4000. The office staff said so that it didn't cost me so much they'd put it through my insurance even though ortho treatment was NOT covered by my insurance. They said they'd file one screw in for that year and then wait to file the other screw the following year AKA: insurance fraud. I tried to remain with them but knowing how unethical they are really put me in defensive mode. I asked to speak to the owner of the establishment who never returned my calls nor wanted to meet with me. I decided to pull out of treatment 6 months in, and leave their office altogether. My last appointment I was given a set of plastic retainers which were poorly done as they chipped 2 months in. Dr Mo never explained how the retainer worked just handed them to me and asked me to put them on and take off. I do NOT recommend this office. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a quick cleaning. The dentist told me i needed 6 fillings and a deep cleaning. I asked how long it'd take, since I had to work in the afternoon. I was told an hour to an hour and a half. I was there for three hours. I was given 6 numbing shots and she did 2 fillings. She then walked out and left for 45 minutes. She came back and tried to continue the fillings, but my anesthesia had obviously started to wear off a bit and I was in so much pain. Due to the dentist stepping away for so long, she rushed through my second set of fillings and my deep cleaning. She didn't even do fillings 5 and 6. I was refunded a mere $30 for those fillings after paying almost $250. It feels like the staff at this office have no bedside manners. The entire time during the procedure, I had so much water dripping down my neck and face. The dental assistant seemed to be training, she was very sweet and nice. There was another lady, in black scrubs, who seemed to be supervising her. The supervising lady seemed to get extremely frustrated and just yanked tools out of the training assistant's hands. For some reason, there was extra personnel just standing around?? At some point, someone walked across the room I was in and bumped into my feet while the dentist had several tools in my mouth. I have visited the office in Falcon Landing, I figured I could visit this office since this one was closer to me. Big mistake. I can't say enough good things about this place!! The entire staff was super sweet and efficient from the first phone call, when we visited the office, and while completing my daughter's dental work. They really work with your schedule... I would know because I have a VERY busy one, and they were so helpful in accommodating me! The prices are very reasonable and as a plus they were able to complete my daughter's dental work on her very first visit and get her out of pain even though it was late in the day. From scheduling an appointment for my husband and I over the phone with Roberto, to getting checking in with Katy, they treated us with smiles and an eager willingness to ensure we were satisfied & comfortable the entire time. Doctor George & Tanya are both great, they have been very patient with me (I am the worst, most anxious and nervous dental patient ever).
