Where 2 start???? they need like "Infinity Stars" -- 5 is not enough, but for the sake of argument,…read moretoday we are going to say that 5 stars = Infinity Stars lol.... I came here yesterday which was on a Friday to get my teeth whitened. My appointment was for 11 am. Once i arrived, I had to fill out some brief new patient info from the ipad. Once that was done, I probably waited 3-5 minutes before i was seen. (That was awesome!) We walked to the back, and the dentist took me on a brief tour of the facility. It is really nice in the inside. After the tour was over she introduced me to one of the main dentist's and then she took me to the area where they would be working on me. Soo the dentist began to go over the teeth whitening procedure step by step. She was very thorough, and i appreciated that because that is exactly how i am. Also, i want to mention that her name is "Daniela" and she is the nicest dentist that i have ever encountered. EVER!! I felt like i had been a customer there my entire life, and in reality it was my first time there. After she explained everything she asked me if i had any questions which i did and we went over them one by one. Once that was over the first thing that they have to do is take a before pic. She took them on her cell phone and mine. Next, she pulled out a teeth chart, (not sure what its called), but its where she is able to determine what the current shade of your teeth is before the procedure is started. This allows the dentist to see how many shades your teeth increases after the procedure is complete. She wrote this information down and took pics of it as well. After that they have to fit your mouth for custom teeth whitening trays that you will take home with you. They put some pink stuff lol inside your mouth. Its cool not cold, and it has to stay in there for x amount of seconds. 20~30 seconds i believe. The prosthodontist will come and check your teeth to make sure everything is okay no cavities etc, and then the procedure can begin. It had been a while since i had eaten - i only had a banana and 2 eggs for breakfast. (I know, i know, but i'm trying to be healthy!!!) Daniela asked me did i eat recently i said no, and she offered me some "Muscle Milk" That made my day, and i think i drunk it all up in 8.4 seconds! Really that was amazing that she offered that b/c I've seen other dentist offices where this would not even be an option. Back to the procedure.... So to begin the teeth whitening procedure, first they have to put a lot of cotton stuff in your mouth, and under your tongue to protect all of the soft tissue above your teeth. She took her time and did it right. Then they put a big mouthpiece in your mouth as this will keep your mouth open for the duration of the procedure. They will also put vitamin E on your lips so that they will not get dry. Mine never did. Daniela told me before the procedure started that if the intensity was too much to handle then all i have to do is clap my hands and then she will lower the intensity. (I started on the HIGH level.) The teeth whitening process goes like this: Three 15 minute sessions, and an "optional" 4th session. After 12 minutes the machine will beep, and they will come and ask you how you are doing and tell you that you only have 3 minutes left. I like the fact that even before the 12 minutes was up they peeked in and asked me how i was feeling. After the first 15 minutes on high intensity, i felt no pain. I did the second session on high as well for the entire 15 minutes. Once i got to about 12 minutes into the second session i started to fell these little electric shocks in my mouth but i made it all the way thru on high once again. If i had to judge the pain on a scale of 1 to 10 i would give the last 3 minutes about a 3. So for my third session we decided to lower the intensity to medium instead of high. I made it thru the entire 15 minutes again. I would say that by the end of session 3 the pain was at a 4. I decided not to do the optional 4th session as the dentist told me that when she looked at my teeth it looked like the gains would be marginal and my teeth were already looking very good. So we stopped after the third session. After that they take all the stuff out your mouth, clean you up, take some after pics on their phone and my phone, and then you pay. They will also give you some relief medicine, aspirin, and a take home teeth whitening kit when you depart. Amazing experience!!!!! Summary Super Friendly Staff No wait time Very Clean inside They will take their time with you and explain everything very thoroughly before they begin Best dentist I've ever been to! But she took my call and had me laughing in no time, which really helped because I was in so much pain. A little backstory, my braces were removed in 2021. A year later, my permanent retainer was moving my teeth. My orthodontist took full blame and put braces on the bottom of my teeth to correct them. The process was finished in April. Well, the left side of my head and face became very painful. The orthodontist said the retainer mold was wrong and replaced that... Fast forward, I moved to Texas, and now I'm at the doctor's because my face is swollen, and on to the Berkeley Eye Center. I'll spare you the rest. So now, I have the kindest woman named Sherri on the phone, who I consider a friend now. She told me to come on in, she'll send the paperwork through email, and she'll see me at two. She didn't stop there; once I got there and finished the exam, I thought I had to come back for them to put the proper braces on. Nope, Sherri said we can do the braces today, and they did! No more pain for me. Thank you, thank you so much, Sherri!

I was a loyal patient of Dr. O'Keefe for 15 years until he retired and sold his practice to Dr…read more Gray. Despite warnings about the new management, I decided to stay with the practice. Unfortunately, those warnings turned out to be absolutely right. For the past three years, Dr. Gray's office has consistently overcharged for routine procedures and added unnecessary services that insurance wouldn't cover--fluoride treatments for $50+, excessive x-rays, and more. Before the transition, I was never charged beyond my insurance coverage for standard bi-annual cleanings, but that changed immediately under Dr. Gray's practice. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was because my hygienist, Sandy, and Dr. Newman were still there. Both were professional, honest, and trustworthy--but they've now left the practice, which speaks volumes. On my last visit in February 2025, I was pressured to get additional x-rays despite recently having a panoramic x-ray (only needed every five years) and two sets of bitewings due to a recent root canal. When I questioned this, I was falsely told that I hadn't had x-rays since 2022. When I declined and explained I was only there for a routine cleaning, they claimed the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners wouldn't allow them to proceed without x-rays--an outright lie. Under Dr. O'Keefe, I was never forced into unnecessary x-rays. Frustrated by the dishonesty, I canceled my appointment and left. I was already fed up with the overcharging and deceptive practices, but what ultimately compelled me to write this review was discovering that they had the audacity to resubmit billing for my August 2024 root canal--despite the fact that I received no treatment that day. Thankfully, my insurance company caught the duplicate charge, making me question how often they've billed for services never rendered. On top of all this, the turnover in staff is alarming. Longtime employees have left, and the new front desk staff lacks professionalism. Daisy, who handles payments, is especially rude. I strongly urge you to avoid this dental office. The deceptive billing practices, unnecessary procedures, and lack of integrity make it clear that this office prioritizes profit over patient care. Stay far away!
