The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. We were NOT told this would, or could, happen. My husband has had his retainers for 24 years, still intact & they are similar to what our daughter has, not metal. So we expected our daughter's to hold up as well. We went into the office to see if we could get a replacement for her top retainer only but they wanted $200. That's $200 for something that falls apart within two years. Yes, I had the option of buying another set of retainers at the end of her treatment, in case she lost her first pair. But I was never told the first set could possibly fall apart. Dr Khan is a great orthodontist who does amazing work. But I believe the cost of the retainers is a rip off. The hygienist was very thorough, they cleaned her teeth and polish them. Even I, being her daughter, saw a difference between her teeth before the appointment and after the appointment. I am very impressed with the hygienist at this location. After getting her teeth cleaned, the dentist closed her fillings. My mom was very pleased with the work. She was so thankful that this office was not trying to sell her on things that she did not need to get done. While they did mention her need for a crown, they did not sell her on any ancillary charges or bogus treatments for her teeth. My mom hates going to the dentist. And she doesn't like the dental field because she feels that they're very pushy and the make up charges or work without very much proof. Worst decision of my life. The molding that they were relying on to make my teeth appear even…read moredidn't even last a month and they said it would last years. They didn't listen when I kept saying my front teeth were crooked, which made the process take longer (26 months) and they're still not straight. My teeth are in horrible shape and enamel is so worn. For whatever reason, they put something on two teeth to keep them together during the process and now the space has rotted. Twice my wire slid into my cheek; the second time it happened, one of the ladies in the office decided she wanted to explain that my wire had shifted as if I didn't say that exact same thing when I made the appointment. I wish I'd gone anywhere else.
