Was so happy with my first experience at Hassid Dental! Right from the moment I walked in, I felt very welcomed and cared for. They were extremely thorough with my cleaning, and talked to me in-depth about the condition of my teeth based on various x-rays and photos: what I'm doing right, what I could improve upon, what I might be at risk for, and more. The dentist also talked me through what to look for when buying toothpaste and mouthwash, and provided scientific explanations for which products work best. The new patient/scheduling process is very smooth, as well. I simply filled out the new patient form online, got an email the next day from the office to schedule my appointment (which worked great for me, since I often can't take phone calls during the day), and was ready to go. Overall, I'm very impressed with the organization of the office and the kindness and consideration of each individual I interacted with! Definitely recommend. read more

Unequivocal 5 stars. I almost don't want to tell you folks about this dental office so appointments don't become even more scarce. But I'll be honest, this is probably one of the best dentist visit experiences I've ever had. Making an appointment was simple. You can do so via their website (under "contact"). Someone reached out to me relatively quickly. I did make the appointment for several weeks out however they called me when there was an earlier cancellation. They send you all the necessary forms online so you can do it all in advance. They will also verify your insurance information before your appointment. FYI: Dr. Hassid is not "in-network" with any insurance company but accepts all PPO insurance plans. So don't worry if you don't see him listed under your provider's dental directory. Everyone is SO NICE. The entire team is friendly, helpful, and authentic. When you're there, you feel extremely welcomed and cared for. I'm pregnant and they were all very conscious and sympathetic. They gave me the option to skip the x-ray but I had the okay from my doctor. They covered my belly with two layers of protection to ensure safety. Their care is very thorough. X-rays, gum recession testing (don't know the technical name), and a careful examination of your oral health. The cleaning was very thorough as well. They seemed really honest. I had a previous dentist (a Groupon dentist) tell me that I had two cavities that needed to be taken care of (I skipped it as I didn't have insurance at the time). Dr. Hassid said that wasn't the case -- there were areas that called for closer scrutiny but nothing that required immediate filling. The office is bright and clean and very pleasant. Seriously, this office is the best you'll find. They will make you feel like you're the only client in the dentist's chair. I sent my boyfriend here as well and he had a wonderful experience too. Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I don't think any time was spent reading the details of my review or trying to understand my experience as a long time patient. Basically you just called me a liar and dismissed everything I said which I clearly referenced with photos. All I was asking for was transparency. I'm sure the no-show fee is on your website and I'm sure it's in your fine print but my issue was with it not being attached to when someone actually books or is reminded of the appointment. Is that too much to ask for as a paying customer? I do understand that tele-medicine appointments are a thing and come at a cost which again was not my issue, the issue was that it was never disclosed that that was what was happening and that there would be a charge. I never booked a tele-medicine appointment. The doctor just called my cell phone and talked for 3 minutes regarding tooth pain that she "asked" to speak more about and I was later charged $65. That's like my doctor calling to ask how my surgery went and then charging for the call. If this review accomplishes anything at all my hope is that you take a moment to hear the feedback you receive from patients and consider how things could be adjusted for a better patient experience because this (and your dismissive response) has unfortunately resulted in the loss of three patients that would have stayed for life. read more

I am one who travels far when I trust a doctor/dentist because it is very very tedious for me to rebuild that rapport again - I used to drive from Houston to Austin for the day just for a cleaning or to see my derm/OB/GYN, etc. I originally went to a dentist in Midtown when I moved back to Houston and he performed a filling, but postoperatively, I felt a sharp pain when I chewed on soft or crunchy foods. So, I went back to them for a reevaluation and they did not see anything and attempted to file my upper tooth down thinking that was the issue. The sharp pain persisted and I LOVE MY CRUNCHY FOODS, so I decided to take a day trip to my Austin dentist and they performed these tests to see if my teeth were misaligned and they took a look, but found nothing again. Unfortunately, the pain persisted, so I googled another provider and came upon Dr. Hassid. Him and his staff are so friendly, personable, and accommodating. Being that I had a recent XR with my dentist in Austin, he waived that fee for me as a new consult as well and just had my Austin dentist email my XR results over to his office so he can evaluate it - saved me tons of $$. He ended up fixing my filling and thanks to him, it's now pain free for me to consume my favorite food texture again. read more

Dr. Hassid is the dude when it comes to taking care of his patients. Everything is super clean, latest tools, stellar staff, who know how to clean teeth properly. The care they deliver is on point. The staff is friendly & Dr Hassid is thorough & doesn't rush through the appointment like 95% of dentists do. He explains things clearly & doesn't make you feel stupid for asking questions. He even handwrites a thank you card if you're a new patient of his. Dental hygienist, Emily is super sweet & pretty gentle with your mouth. My only complaint is the services at Hassid Dental are a bit more expensive than other places. I compared my dental bill to my spouse's dental bill from a place located at Memorial Hermann Southwest Medical Plaza & some line items were $50+ more at Hassid Dental. I love the convenience of their location but I don't know if I can justify paying more for the same services my husband is getting elsewhere for less money...especially since I'm paying entirely out of pocket. read more

Been going to Dr. Hassid for several years and I've had several complicated issues including a complicated extraction and implant. He's the best, and corrected work my old dentist did as well but was so respectful in talking about the prior dentist's work which I thought was cool. I'd had so many problems with a certain tooth before Dr. Hassid took it out, and he explained how and why and even drew me a picture. My family goes to him now. He's not the cheapest but with insurance it's not a huge difference and it's worth it- you get what you pay for. Very nice office and ample parking as well. He also calls you at night same day he's done a procedure on you to check on you, which is unheard of. read more

Dr.Hassid and his staff are absolutely fantastic! They have always gone above and beyond for me to make sure I'm comfortable and happy with my teeth. Dr.Hassid is highly professional and pays attention to detail with your teeth. I love that he's never heavy handed with your teeth, which used to be one of the reasons I hated going to other dentists. He was there through my entire braces journey and kept my teeth clean and would even communicate with my orthodontist for me if need be. I love all of his dental hygienists/assistants, they are knowledgeable, kind, have a great sense of humor, and professional. Marcia at the front desk has always been so sweet, she's great at scheduling me and always responds in a timely manner. You can tell Dr.hassid only wants the best people on his staff. His dental office is pristine and you can definitely see that he cares a lot about cleanliness and hygiene which is so important when dealing with people's mouths. I have been treated with the upmost care, concern and respect. His office is an hour away from where I live in the woodlands and I still insist on making the drive just because it's worth it to have a dentist who truly cares about your teeth health. Dr. Hassid is INCREDIBLE. I left his office crying tears of joy, and that's absolutely never been my experience anywhere else. I loved my hygienist at a prior dentist but had one too many issues, so I finally decided to give my husband's dentist a try. He had been raving about Dr. Hassid for years, but I was stubborn, and luckily I finally made the decision to give him a try. Dr. Hassid's office is extremely nice, and they have a lot of awesome technology. The dental assistant was wonderful, and she helped to start out my experience on a great note. I came in with a ton of anxiety and expressed all of my concerns to Dr. Hassid. He always made me feel comfortable and never let me feel like a burden. He walked me through each of the steps he was taking and was willing to hand scale my entire cleaning. He is extremely easy to talk to, and you can tell how knowledgable he is. You just feel at ease being in his chair, and let me tell you, I am not one to feel at ease very often, especially not at a dentist's office. Not an orthodontist so can only work with Invisalign. Oh but if you can't do Invisalign they recommend you to someone who actually studied orthodontics. Not that this ever happens. do yourself a favor and go to a real orthodontist and see a dentist for cavities, etc. read more

Fantastic experience here with Dr. Hassid and his team. I would honestly say the best experience I've ever had at a dentist's office. My appointment was at 10 am. Parking was convenient and the building was easy to find. Very nice office, and the front desk staff were warm and friendly. Wait time was minimal, I sat down in the waiting area for about 30 seconds before I was called back. Dr. Hassid is personable, warm, and takes time with his patients. He sat with me and went over my X-rays, pointing out details that no dentist has ever shown me before. Tabitha did an excellent job on my cleaning. If you're wanting to become a new patient, you may have to wait a few weeks for the first available appointment but it is absolutely worth it. read more

I have never had a better experience at the dentist's! The staff is phenomenal. Wait time was non existent when I arrived. Office has a beautiful interior. Building is clean and quiet, parking is plentiful. Dr. Hassid is friendly, thorough, and patient with all questions. I've never had a dentist sit down with me and explain in detail the concerns and procedures at hand. He never once made me feel like I was being annoying or stupid with all my questions. He entertained all my concerns and treated them with compassion and care. Tabitha, who did my cleaning, made a normally excruciating ordeal an extremely pleasant one. She comforted me about my (bad) previous experiences and was mindful of them while doing her job. The front desk personnel, Julia, was very amiable on the phone and in person. Didn't know it was possible to love dental visits this much. Our entire family sees Dr Hassid! Even our kids who are 4 and 7 love going to see him and even ask to go back regularly. He's very calm, attentive, and a great listener. Spends lots of time during each visit and is very accommodating. You can tell he has really high standards for his work, his office, and the overall patient experience. I can't say enough. He even sent us a handwritten thank you after our family visits. I was looking on Yelp for a new dentist closer to me. Dr. Hassid has 5 stars and I understand why! Marcia called me within an hour of requesting an appointment online. She was very kind and they were able to fit me in same day. They took the time to do a detailed check of my teeth and patiently answered any questions I had. After my first visit, Dr. Hassid sent me a nice hand written note thanking me for my visit. I had some work I wanted to get done (cleaning, filling and whitening) before I went on Christmas vacation. They were able to get me in within a week of my first visit and everything was done with care! My procedures were done yesterday and Dr. Hassid called me this afternoon (Saturday) to check and make sure I was doing well. :-) Dr. Hassid and his team are outstanding and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a personal experience where you are more than just another set of teeth. read more

About three months ago, I moved from Houston to another major city in Texas, and I am seriously considering making the trek to Houston for routine dental visits--that is how excellent Dr. Hassid and his team of staff are in all aspects of patient care. After my root canal procedure last year, he called me that evening to check in on my recovery. He even wrote me a thank-you note for being a patient about six weeks after my procedure was complete! I just moved from Chicago and finding a decent, non-scamming dentist under my new insurance has been such a pain. I'm writing this review after visiting another dental office in the Midtown area and was completely scammed and realizing how amazing Dr. Hassid and his staff truly are! A couple months ago I visited Dr. Hassid's office. Upon arriving, his receptionist (I'm so bad with names sorry!) welcomed me and took the time to go over my benefits with me. She told me what my benefits were and what my out of pocket expenses would be for a general consultation with Dr. Hassid as a result of me maxing out my dental benefits. She even caught the fact that my insurance had the wrong date for my birthday - and I have gone through several dental visits and no one else caught that mistake! I cannot thank her enough for taking the time to go over my dental benefits and even though I had already reached my insurance limit I decided I would still proceed with the consultation with Dr. Hassid. Dr. Hassid is very personable and really does care about his patients. I wanted a general consultation to go over a potential procedure recommended by another dentist. Dr Hassid was able to refer me to an orthodontist and even called the orthodontist's office himself to see if they could schedule me in the same day... and they did! He didn't try to charge me for any additional "service" (just like the recent place I went to which is the reason I'm writing this review), and was straightforward and clear with his recommendations yet took his time and my visit there did not feel rushed whatsoever. I've been going to Dr. Hassid's practice for about a year and a half now. I'll be the first to admit that I am not particularly fond of going to the dentist. Dr. Hassid and the entire staff are friendly and make you feel welcome & comfortable. I have cavity prone teeth and Dr. Hassid has been helpful with explaining my x-rays, fixing bad fillings, filling new ones, making me aware of problem areas and the best yet, telling me I don't have any! Chandra does as wonderful job cleaning my teeth and is very sweet and personable. The practice is small, personal and beautiful. It is located in a great part of town and the building has plenty of parking. Free parking! I highly recommend Dr. Hassid if you're looking for a new dentist in Houston! read more

David Hassid is an excellent family dentist. He is through, gentle, and takes the time to explain all procedures. He is wonderful with children and fearful patients. I was snacking, as one does in the throes of COVID self-isolating, and felt my permanent retainer break. All businesses were shut down and my former orthodontist is in New Orleans. A quick yelp search pulled up Dr. Hassid. I called him and totally expected to just leave a voicemail, but he personally answered the phone. He said that I might experience some shifting in my teeth but that he would ensure I was scheduled as soon as they were able to reopen. Several weeks later, right when some essential businesses could run again, I received a call from him and was promptly scheduled for my soonest availability. His staff was so kind and friendly, my appointment started right on time, and Dr. Hassid was able to fix my current retainer without having to remove it and put in a whole new one. I appreciated that he wanted to go the most conservative route first, and he was gracious enough to say that, should it not hold, he would replace it and put what I paid for this visit towards the new retainer. Two days later, I received the most thoughtful hand-written thank you card. Would not hesitate to return! read more
