I honestly can't say enough good things about Dr. Read, Megan, and everyone here. I had really bad dental anxiety and had barely been to the dentist since I was around 12 years old. I'm 47 now so walking through the door for the first time was a pretty big deal for me. From the front desk to being in the dental chair, everyone made me feel comfortable, safe, and never embarrassed about how long it had been (or how wildly messed up my teeth were). The whole process took about a year. I had my upper teeth removed and implants done on the top, along with some implant work on the bottom. It was a big process, but Dr. Read and team made it so much easier than I expected. Megan was part of the team taking care of me during most of my visits, and she was excellent as well. Having the same person there so often made a big difference, especially with my anxiety. She was always patient, reassuring, and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The final result is incredible. My teeth look natural, feel natural, and are strong enough that I don't really even think about them being implants. They used some really impressive technology throughout the process, and you can tell a lot of care and pride went into making sure everything looked and felt right. When everything was finally finished, I actually teared up because I was so happy with how I looked and most importantly - how I felt. I don't think I realized how much of a burden having bad teeth had been until that burden was gone. Being able to smile without thinking about it is a pretty amazing feeling. If you have dental anxiety, have avoided the dentist for years, or are considering implants, I would absolutely recommend the entire team. I saw Dr. Nickolas today for a crown replacement and a check-up on my implants that he's doing on 2 of my teeth. Dr. Nikolas and the entire staff were extremely kind and friendly. I've been going to this office for dentistry for nearly 15 years and I can't say enough about the excellent treatment I've received form them. Came here for just a routine exam and cleaning and they said I needed a deep cleaning. Wouldn't even do the regular cleaning. They did the same thing to my wife who went a different day. Something that should have been zero out of pocket with insurance ended up being a $500 bill. The cleaning wasn't even that great and I am skeptical of the laser treatment they pushed. When the EOB came in, there was a discrepancy in what they charged vs what the insurance said I owed. Whoever the one with the attitude is in billing said they dont submit certain things to the insurance because they know they wont cover them. What I am free to conclude is that they push this deep cleaning and laser scam on everyone and leave things off the claim to hide what they are doing. Did they do the same thing to you? read more

Sadly the two root canals that I had several years ago done at Parker Read have failed. There's massive bone loss and now the tooth has to be extracted and an implant put in. Normally I would not attribute this to the dentist however my mother had two failed root canals from here as well. read more

Always difficult trying to get a later appointment here. Constantly harassed about getting x rays when frankly yearly x rays are not a therapy I need or want. Just a a money making business model. It's good to move on from them and go to a biological dentist that treats the patient as a whole biological system. read more

Excellent care and service, with great attention to details. I'd been going to another dentist for the past 20 years and changed to Dr. Nickolas earlier this year for preventive care. Recently I needed a crown replaced and dreaded the thought of going through all the pain, mental and physical. When my old dentist installed a crown it took 3 visits and 2-3 weeks waiting for the crown to be fabricated, the process was a month. Taking impressions, temporary crown, fitting and refitting, terrible experience. Going into Dr. Nickolas examing room was like going from the dark ages into the future. Huge monitor showing you every detail of X-rays and photographs of your teeth and inside your mouth. The entire crown removal and replacement only took 1:45 minutes and I walked out with the new crown installed and NO return visits required. The state-of-the-art equipment allowed them to take all the measurements the 20 minutes later they returned with a PERFECT fitting crown. Completely Painless!! I kept asking myself why hadn't I learned of this before. Great staff and accommodations! read more

I am very sad as I am writing this review. I have been a patient for 28 years and my husband has been going there for 40 years. Unfortunately, I had to change to a new dentist after my Hygienist asked to do a deep clean as she thought it is needed. They gave me an estimate after checking my insurance which I paid. My insurance rejected the claim as they didn't think it was needed as they said. Parker Nicholas Dental office billed me for it and said it's my responsibility. For whoever is reading this review, be aware that you might get hit with a full invoice if they mis-evaluated what you need and insurance rejects it. Don't trust this office! read more

This has been the absolute worst experience I have had with a dental office. The procedure was a difficult extraction ( the tooth had a root canal and a post). The procedure was good but the after care was a nightmare. I waited for my pharmacy to contact me for the pain medication and antibiotics. I finally contacted the pharmacy and they had not received anything from my dentist! I called the dental office immediately and got the answering service and explained the situation. They assured me someone would get back to me. After waiting an hour and I then called the pharmacy. They checked their messages and informed me that it was illegal to fill the pain medication over the phone and the antibiotic prescription had cut off so they did not know what I needed. I called the answering service back and they said they would send another message to the dentist on call. I waited another hour and called the pharmacy and the same thing happened again with the antibiotic and did not get a full description of the antibiotic. I called the answering service again and told them that the pharmacy closed within the hour and needed some urgency in handling this grievous mistake on the dental office. Again no call from the dentist on call until 8:00 when the pharmacy had closed. She told me to take ibuprofen and Tylenol and I would have to wait until morning. I'm in excruciating pain and this is the best the could do. And again no apologies... The next morning I called the office at 8am and she spoke to the dentist and said he had electronically sent it in. I called the pharmacy to see when it would be ready and they had sent in an antibiotic that I was allergic to and had informed the dental assistant the day before to make sure it was not that one. Still no apology from the office. Finally my son is waiting at the pharmacy left only to make a second trip to retrieve the correct antibiotics. Still no call from the dentist or anyone to check on me after this surgery or follow up about the medication, etc. I have been a patient at this office for the past 60+ years (I started there as a child)! I am distressed and sad that I now feel I have to go elsewhere where I feel like I am taken care of. Especially considering the amount of money I have spent over the years. This on procedure was almost 800.00! read more
