I initially contacted Dr. Lee's office to schedule a routine dental cleaning. I was informed that a checkup was required first. I explicitly stated that I did not want to proceed. Later that same day, the dental office called me back and stated that they had checked with my insurance and that the visit would be fully covered. I said no, I have to check with my insurance myself. Later, their insurance person called and texted me back and confirmed that they had checked with my insurance and that the visit would be fully covered. Based solely on that representation, I agreed to schedule the checkup. After the visit, I received a bill from Dr. Lee that insurance did not cover part of the service, allegedly because that portion is only covered once per year and I had already used it. Do not trust them when they say they checked with your insurance. Had I been correctly informed of this at the time of scheduling, I would not have agreed to the appointment. read more

First and foremost the dentist at this office is funny and highly qualified. Nevertheless the hygienist who worked on my teeth was so forceful that I now have spaces in between my teeth, especially my front two teeth. If you're looking for a good dental hygienist who is meticulous with her work, I HIGHLY recommend you ask for Megan. She takes pride in her work and goes back when she has missed something. This recent visit, after thinking she was done, Megan found a copy of spots she missed after looking at my x-rays. She made sure the job was done right. Wow, this place is AMAZING! Very professional office who's goal is to provide their patients with the best experience. The staff is so friendly and inviting and also very accommodating for people like me who have crazy schedules. They have all the latest equipment! Hand-held x-ray machines (which is a MUCH more comfortable process than the traditional ones), 3-D imaging and also mouth scans that gives you a perfect visual of how your teeth are currently aligned verses how they should be. Not to mention they also have TVs in every exam room that they adjust not only for you to watch while they're doing all the work but also so that they can show you the pictures of your x-rays while they go over them with you. It's awesome! They did a very thorough examination looking for cavities and just overall general healthiness. James was very friendly and took excellent care of me while doing the exam and cleaning! Dr. Lee (wonderful guy, by the way) explained in detail what was going on while showing my x-rays and how they can help me to get it all fixed. After this was all done, they took me to their consult room where they went over my charges for that day as well as what my insurance will cover for the next steps in resolving some of my issues. I really liked that this was done privately in its own room out of the reach of others patient's ears. That's important to me. When I left, they gave me a gift bag with dental hygiene goodies as well as an RTIC CUP! How awesome! Great dentist! Dr. Lee is very friendly and explained everything that was going on. The hygienist and dental assistant were really nice too and I was seen immediately, no waiting around! The receptionist staff are very efficient so the check in process was smooth and fast even though I was a new patient. The waiting room is great - lots of magazines, water, coffee and a large TV. I like that there are TVs in the examination rooms too so that you have something to watch/listen to - made the whole process go by much faster. I have been going to Dr. Lee for 5 years now. Like others, I was once PETRIFIED of the dentist. Now not only have I overcome my fear but I look forward to having my teeth cleaned! You can tell he genuinely cares about his patients dental care. He fixed one of my root canals that was done poorly by a previous dentist and I was able to eat normal within hours, after the numbing went away. I'm also not sure how he does it but I never felt the injection when my mouth was numbed so that's fantastic due to my fear of needles! Also, shout out to the amazing staff. I have changed dentists every year before I started going to Dr. Lee's office. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The lady at the front desk greets me by name whenever I have come in for an appointment. My last hygienist that worked with me was very thorough and explained every step of routine checkup. I like most people are afraid of going to a dentist because I feel like I'm being pressured or scared into doing something I don't necessarily have to do but Dr Lee and his staff and very accommodating and very knowledgeable and make me feel like I can make a decision about my dental health with ease. After many years of orthodontia in my youth, I'm not a big fan of mouth/teeth work in general. When my former dentist moved, I took my time finding a new one. So when I finally made an appointment with Dr. Lee, it had been about 2 years since my last dentist appointment (shame), and I was not looking forward to the experience. To my relief, Dr. Lee and his staff are wonderful. Everyone is incredibly friendly and easy-going, which makes a stressful experience much more manageable. The hygienists talk through the work they are doing so you know what is going on with all those tools in your mouth. It's a lot less awkward than your typical exam and cleaning. Dr. Lee has uses top-notch technology, so it was easy for me to see and understand everything he was telling me about my teeth. I really felt like the visit was worthwhile! Friendly staff, up-to-date technology, knowledgeable dentist and hygienists - altogether a great experience. Love Dr. Lee's staff and service. One of the things I really appreciate is the financial consultation they offer before any major work is done. You actually get up out of the chair and visit with someone in a separate room to go over costs, insurance coverage, and a schedule for your work if it's a long term decision. One time, I could really only afford a part of what I needed and I never felt like they were pressuring me to spend more. They were happy to perform the work I could afford and I just completed the rest in a follow-up visit. Whomever says they aren't transparent is just making stuff up. I never got the chance to sit in Dr Lee's chair to experience how great he supposedly is. His manager Barbara shut that down. I called yesterday morning to ask for a quote for a root canal and she told me it would be $800 ballpark. After speaking with another dental office and not being able to get an appointment until December - I called Dr Lee's office again. Again I spoke with Barbara and she seemed annoyed with me calling a 2nd time. She bluntly asked me if I was just shopping for a "cheap price". That was just rude. I told her no-- I wanted quality work and willing to pay for it but needed more information before I make a final decision. All of a sudden the root canal now costs approximately $2700. WTF?! Huh?! Barbara stressed she did not like to give prices over the phone but I don't have insurance. I am not going to pay to sit in your chair for you to quote me cost. Going from $800 to $2700 in just a matter of hours -- no thanks, you are not the place for me. read more

I detest the dentist, I had a bad experience when I was 12 when the dentist was supposed to give me Novocaine for a filling and "forgot" I have never looked back... Sure, I have gone for cleanings, ect, but after I started experiencing some pain on Friday I tried to make an appointment with my normal dentist--unfortunately they were booked until November 2nd. I found Dr. Lee through my insurance, and chose him because they were close to my office. I scheduled an appointment for today at 1145. I woke up at 2a.m. feeling like holy hell with a throbbing tooth. I called Dr. Lee at 8a.m. when they opened and asked if I could come in ASAP! Sure! they said come on!!! I had already filled out paperwork on line, and met with the assistant Mona and dental hygienist Amanda, both who were VERY sweet. I took full ex rays and low and behold I need my wisdom teeth out--(Insert scary music here) Dr. Lee was super cool, very informative, and explained everything. He gave me numerous shots until my mouth was numb, and even tapped my teeth to make sure I could not feel A THING--I really liked the fact that he made sure my mouth was COMPLETELY numb before moving ahead. Shortly after, wisdom teeth were out, and I was good to go. I watched the Today show through the whole thing, and there was minimal discomfort. He prescribed me some antibiotics, and painkillers, and off I went. This was probably the easiest dentist visit I have ever experienced, and Dr. Lee's manor was great. I felt completely comfortable, and will continue to visit their office again. Great staff! Update: I have minimal swelling, and am back to work the next day, also received a call from Dr. Lee himself just to check on me yesterday--thats what I can service! read more

Dr. Lee is hands down my favorite dentist I've ever been to. I lucked into finding him because my old employer's office was on the same floor as Dr. Lee. (From time to time, I put my detective hat on and asked people carrying their dentist goodie bags in the elevator about him, and they all said he was good.) After years AND YEARS of orthodontic appliances, I can thank my wonderful orthodontist for my smile, but my gums are very fragile, and I have problems with sensitivity from loss of enamel. Needless to say, going to the dentist can be pretty scary (and painful) for me. The first time I got my teeth cleaned by one of Dr. Lee's hygienists, I was amazed. The cleaning actually felt GOOD! So good in fact, that I've decided to get my teeth cleaned 3 times a year at Dr. Lee's just so I can have that squeaky clean feeling again and again. All of Dr. Lee's equipment is state of the art, and I'm always in awe of his use of the latest devices and technology. And I haven't just been there for sunshine and rainbow-filled cleanings. On my first appointment, they found FIVE cavities. I was pretty sad and embarrassed, but I'd been without dental insurance for over a year, and I love candy... so I knew it would probably be bad.. Anyway, I got all five fillings done at once, and I didn't have any problems at all. (With any other dentist, I've always felt like they ground my teeth down too much after the fillings or like something just wasn't right. Not so with Dr. Lee.) I'm again without insurance, and I no longer work anywhere near Dr. Lee, but I've decided to keep up my 3 cleanings a year and in fact have one tomorrow! Yay! Here's hoping no cavities! Oh!
