This dentist office is amazing! The staff is very friendly and they try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. This office is open late til 7pm and also open on Saturdays which work perfectly since I don't have to take a PTO day from work. Chairs are comfortable and there is a tv screen each room. There is a tv on the ceiling so it keeps your mind off of the actual dentist. I recommended all my co workers to go here if they are in the area and they love it. read more

I came in for an infection creating a cyst in my mouth(upper left gum). They took a couple X-rays and was told the doctor would come in and let me know what he sees. He came in and was gone in 5 minutes. Told me it doesn't even seem tooth related!!! and gave me some antibiotics. No test no anything, one look and done. Seemed like he was brushing it off. Went to my original dentist and they did multiple X-rays, multiple diffrent test to determine the problem. It was one of my teeth that needed a root canal or extraction. So of course I was going to update my review after my last visit. To really give it more merit I should say that my morning had already started out bad - I had even considered rescheduling my appointment. When you are not in a good mood the last thing you want to do is have a shot, and drilling done in your mouth. The work done was excellent, the service was phenomenal and I am very happy with quality of the work done. I left feeling better than when I had arrived which was a tall order. First time here, I've decided to come by after reading all the great reviews since I don't really remember the last time I've been to the dentist. Everyone has been very courteous and friendly. Spacious inside, television in the room and check this out, in the ceiling too?!! I wish I had that when I was a kid to keep me distracted while I'm at the dentist, haha. Dr. Hoang was very personable, made me feel at ease, and his explanations were clear (verdict: no cavities!) and a gentle question regarding flossing; definitely a good reminder. Anne was my hygienist and she was great; helpful advice to keep my gums healthy. I couldn't get everyone's names but everyone was excellent. I'll be back for check-up again in 6 months, I'm glad I found this dental practice. P.S. Not sure if it's because the holidays or first time visit but a free dental kit! This review update has been long overdue! I've been coming to Dr. Phan and Dr. Cho for a few years now and they have never let me down. I underwent an orthodontic journey with Dr. Cho who was able to correct my smile in about a year with braces, granted that I didn't have bad teeth to begin with which is why the time frame was so short. Throughout the entire process Dr. Cho was very patient, clear on expectations, and always looked out for me if I had any discomfort or pain which I appreciate greatly because some dentist don't GAF and force you to take on the sufferfest. Since day one, every single person in the office has been very professional, friendly, and easy to communicate with. Never have I had any issues scheduling appointments and every single person that I have referred to come here absolutely falls in love with the place. Found them for my 6 year old on Yelp. Their 5 star ratings got my attention plus their operating hours! The only time my boy can see the dentist is on Saturday only and thank goodness that they do open that day! It's quite easy to make an appointment with them. Awesome location/beautiful office! Amazing staff who truly takes care of their patients! There was no waiting time. Dr. Dang was my boy's designated dentist last Saturday. Super efficient and straightforward. My boy has a few minor cavities - his teeth will come off soon - Dr. Dang didn't push us to work on them like other places did! My boy needed to see an orthodontist because his bottom is running out of space for new teeth to come out. We got a referral ... no hassle. Dr. Dang gave us a referral paper and all we had to do is to call! My boy loved being there as they have TVs on the wall and ceiling (how thoughtful) plus a big box full of toys for him to select at the front desk! He will be there again next March! Let me describe my whole experience with Smile 4 Texas. I was looking for a dental office since I just moved to Houston and I got a broken tooth. I saw the office on Yelp with all 5 star reviews. I called them and booked the appointment in the next couple of days. The fact that they open late until 7 is a big plus for somebody who is working full time like me. I came in and I got greeted by the receptionists who were really nice. I filled out my paper and waited for just 5 mins until I got taken care of. The Xray machine is really modern and clean. It took about 1 min to get the Xray and about another 5 mins to get the results back. Then Dr. Phan came in and explained my situation in details and he was really nice as well. I need a crown for my broken tooth definitely. To my surprise, the crown costs only $550 after my insurance. I got quoted around 7k last time. I got adviced that I need a deep cleaning since I did not do it for almost a year. Ly did the deep cleaning for me and she was extremely gentle. She explained to me what was going on and how the procedure helps as well. First time ever I did not feel hurt during a deep cleaning. I decided to write them a 5 star review because they absolutely deserve it. I am so happy that I found out about this place. I got my appointment scheduled for next time and I know it is going to be another pleasant experience with them. I highly recommend this place. read more

Here's the truth: No one looks foward to going to the dentist.  It would take a special kind of masochist to enjoy being poked and prodded in the gums with sharp metal instruments.  BUT, because of my childhood dentist (who is now retired and I hope he burns in hell one day), one of my earliest memories EVER involved a traumatic dental experience.  Thanks to this asshole, the normal amount of dread one normally feels about going to the dentist is multiplied to near-panic anxiety for me.  Every single time.   In any case, my dental health has always been a sensitive topic for me.  My teeth were unsightly and my gums were weak.  Recently, things pretty much got to the point where I considered trying not to smile with my teeth in pictures (I look ridiculous, by the way- definitely not the kind of girl who can pull that look off).  So, my fiancé took me kicking and screaming to Smile4Texas.  Dr. Phan did literally everything he could to assuage my anxieties and worked freakin' miracles on my teeth.  He took the time to explain everything he needed to do, and made me as comfortable as possible so I barely felt a thing while he worked.   I can't begin to tell you how thankful I am for Dr. Phan and how happy I am with his work.  Smiling with confidence is probably something a lot of people take for granted, but not meeee!  200000/10 would recommend. read more

What a very nice office! Up until this point, I can't really say that going in to I have your teeth cleaned is the most pleasant experience. It had been a little over a year since my last check up from a different Hygenist at at different office. It was a nightmare getting a cleaning! I was referred here by Dr. Dang and he ensured me that his hygenist would take really good care of me. The check up was quick and painless, yet thorough. You can tell that they use the latest equipment to make sure you get the best quality service. Even their X-ray device is this tiny handheld machine instead of those old clunky things mounted to the wall. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone that dreads a teeth cleaning. Also if you're that nervous about getting your teeth cleaned, they have tv's mounted in the ceiling to distract you from it all, lol. I hate going to the dentist! Knowing that I would never make an appointment for myself, my boyfriend made one for me and dragged me here. Surprisingly, my visit was actually fun. The facility is so nice inside! I was really impressed with all the technology here. There are TVs in each room and there's even one on the ceiling to watch as they work on you!
