AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING service and staff- everyone is so nice!!! And the people take really good care of the kids teeth. Once you become a client here you won't want to go anywhere else. Until you become an adult/ past teen years and need to graduate to an adult dentist and can no longer go to a pediatric one *cry* my kids still have a few years with Dr. Yang. read more

It's been a long overdue for my review of Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry. First of all, I am a dentist myself (a general dentist). Although I can technically see my children (who are 3 and 4 years old at this time) for their dental needs, I have always preferred to have pediatric dentists to see my children for their dental needs as I know there are certain aspects of patient care which are different for adult patients vs pediatric patients (also my kids tend to listen better to other adults than me). From the scheduling of initial appointment to every aspect of our visits including recall reminders, I am truly impressed with Dr. Yang and her team's approach to providing the best care possible. Office is exceptionally well kept including a very cute lobby area to the super fun patient care areas and the well trained team provides exceptional services with friendliness. Dr. Yang's treatment recommendations were solid recommendations with conservative approach in mind and I am so happy to have found Dr. Yang's office for my children. If you are looking for a pediatric office for your children's needs, I would not hesitate to check out Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Yang. They are truly awesome and my kids are actually excited when they find out that they are going to see Dr. Yang! (They have their hand prints on their wall and love coming back to see their handprints) read more

I adore Dr. Yang and think she is the bee's knees with kiddos. My child is extremely skittish and she is just wonderful with her. We have not had a bad experience here. Highly recommend if you're looking for a pedi dentist. The office is very kid-centric and child friendly. Lots of toys in the waiting room and a token machine good for a treat after your visit. However, she only works W/F at this location so she does get booked up quickly. That's the only downside of having her as your child's dentist! read more

My son immediately felt comfortable! The team here is great. Dr. Yang gave us a lot of great information on lifestyle changes to help prevent further cavities. read more

Dr. Yang is a wonderful pediatric dentist and my daughter has been going here for almost 5 years! Much better than the first one that looked at my daughter's mouth. Not only is she wonderful but her office setting is also very colorful and fun for the kids. After my daughter's cleaning today when we were walking to the parking lot, she goes "I want to go back to the dentist". Won't you want this to be your child's experience at the dentist? She told us that before she was a dentist she use to babysit a lot of kids when she was growing up. That sure shows in her wonderful personality. Also, who can say they are the pediatric dental surgeon for Texas Children's and have also taught at NYU dental school? She's young, talented and most importantly great with kids! My son will be going here too once he gets some teeth in! read more

Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry - Awesome dentist @ Evergreen Pediatric Dentist - Pediatric Dentists Near Me - Houston, Texas

The reviews for this place were outstanding, so I tried this location for my daughter's first dentist visit. We waited for over 45 minutes past our appointment. When we were taken back, the doctor sort of rush into things. She asked my daughter to swish a brightly colored mouthwash, without explanation. I try to limit my children's consumption of artificial food coloring/additives. It was disappointing a dentist would encourage the use of those products. I don't agree with the use of fluoride, and the doctor was visibility irritated that I declined additional fluoride, lecturing me when the studies just aren't there to support daily use. The last straw for me, was when the dentist asked my 4 year old if it was "okay for mommy to stay in the exam room". Um, she's 4. I'm her mother. I won't be leaving her ALONE with a doctor or anyone she has just met. I felt this was an overstep on the part of the dentist. She did clean my daughter's teeth, and that part went quickly. Won't be returning for these reasons. read more

I'm a pediatrician so expectations are high. I'm also a first time mom who gets nervous like other new mamas. I am incredibly impressed with Dr. Hatfield and Dr. Yang. We met Dr. Hatfield after a traumatic injury to my 2 yo's front tooth. She answered my questions after hours and saw us the next morning. We later saw Dr. Yang for a cleaning. My daughter just turned 2. Despite a few tears, both times she left saying "I love my dentist". Even my husband was impressed. Office is spotless, they are quick and efficient. And most importantly, my daughter is comfortable there. Highly recommend. read more

Dr. Yang and her staff were very kind and welcoming. This was my daughter's first dental appointment and no tears were shed! Dr. Yang explained to my daughter everything she was doing and made her feel as comfortable as possible. They gave her cool glasses to wear and a little mirror for her to hold on to while in the dental chair, and a familiar tv show was playing as well. She even received a coin to get prize after her appointment. They were also thorough in explaining to me how to care for little one's teeth. Very pleased. read more

Dr. Yang is the best dentist my daughter has ever had. She's patient, kind and funny. During the checkup they always give her a pair of sunglasses and a mirror to keep her engaged and calm. The staff is fantastic and the atmosphere of the entire place is welcoming. They send you home with extremely nice toothbrushes and toothpaste (not the cheap stuff you get most places). Highly recommend this place for any child! read more

Found this dentist on yelp. Right down the street from where I live. Nice building. Nice office. Full of toys. My daughter loved it. The staff was very friendly and nice. Definitely will make this her regular dentist. read more

At the beginning everything was great but later Ive experienced some problems. First - my insurance only covers dr. Yang. However they scheduled me with another doctor and they billed me for that (at that time I was not aware of the other doctor not covered by my insurance, great that they not charged me for it). But for the next cleaning I called and scheduled with dr. Yang (learned on my mistake). Since I work full time I called 2 months before and chose the last available slot. Well, on the they of appointment they called me to tell me that I'm not scheduled with dr. Yang and if I want to schedule to have her. Sure I want, but at this time all the slots are taken and the only ones are in the middle of the day. I'm going to look for another dentist for my kids. read more

Dr. Esther Yang and her staff are very caring, sweet and they all go above and beyond for their patients. We look forward every 6 months to see Dr. Yang for my child's routine dental check up. The practice is conveniently located near the Beltway and Westheimer. Parking is never an issue. If you're looking for an honest and trustworthy pediatric dentist, I highly recommended this practice. read more

AAAAA-MAZING Practice! My son loves Dr. Yang so much! She provides a safe, warm, and fun place for my child to leave his anxiety at the door, and just feel like he is at home. My wife and I feel 100% comfortable there, and she answers all of our questions going above and beyond, never making us feel like she's in a hurry. Her staff is very courteous and a pleasure to work with. Insurance isn't a problem, and billing is a breeze. I wish my dentist was as great as Dr. Yang/Evergreen! 5-out of-5 stars for sure! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

The staff here are always so nice and patient with our kiddos (both are autistic) and it usually is a huge ordeal for them whenever they have doctors appointments. This visit was the best visit we've had as far as not having as many meltdowns and I credit that to the staff meeting them where they're at and being so patient with them. Thanks for always providing a positive environment for our kiddos Evergreen! read more

NICE and clean.. very friendly!!! Very informative!!! Has tv's in the rooms which the kids love...

Dr Yang is amazing with kids. She treats her little friends with love and care and makes them feel special. My kids love going. She is conservative and won't make you do anything unnecessary unlike some places. Everyone I have referred to her love her! read more

Dr. Yang was so great. She made my two year old feel really comfortable. She took time to connect with my daughter and make things fun or by using distractions to make things less scary. The way she is with kids is really a gift. read more

Our daughter just loves Dr. Yang. She has a way of making a two year old feel safe and make the exam/cleaning fun and entertaining!

Clean office environment in a newly constructed building, welcoming assistants / staff and minimal to no wait based on my observations on multiple occasions. Dr. Yang always has a smile on display and she strives to make her patients and their parents feel at ease through a gentle, patient approach. She also aims to educate by explaining things along the way so parents can make informed decisions. Highly recommended! read more

I took my four year old daughter to fill her cavities there. Everyone from the doctor to the staff were great.

My son split his tooth when he fell and I had to find a dentist pull the tooth. I was in Houston visiting family and did not know who to call. I was recommended to evergreen. The dentist, Esther, made some time to see my son even though it was after hours. She was great with my son and he didn't kick scream or any of the craziness kids do when they go to the dentist. Super good with kids. Super professional. Wish I could get her to move to dc! read more

I am so glad I found her office. I am extremely picky and overprotective mom when it comes to the care of my son but Evergreen has provided an excellent care. I was super nervous prior to visit but getting him through dental check-up and filling have been a breeze in Dr. Yang's hands. Almost no wait time, and staffs are always courteous. Would highly recommend!! read more

Both of my kids love Dr. Yang. She is great with them both. My little one has always been reluctant to trust any healthcare provider, but he left Dr. Yangs office with a smile on his face. I would recommend Evergreen Pediatrics to anyone. read more

My toddler had a great first experience at Evergreen. Dr. Yang and her staff are wonderful. So glad I found this place.

Dr. Yang is amazing my daughter has always been terrified of the dentist but Dr. Yang kept her completely at ease.

Excellent service. Doctor and staffs are friendly and very informative. Highly recommend!

Dr. Yang was awesome! The office was welcoming, our children enjoyed all of the toys in the lobby. So glad we found this office to take care of our kiddos teeth!! read more

Excellent experience! Dr. Shelton naturally made my son feel comfortable and thoroughly cleaned his teeth. We decided to switch dentists after i didn't have a good feeling with the previous place (didn't seem to clean thoroughly and offered xrays when there was not a need at such a young age.. around 1 or 2yo). He loved the toys at the office along with the take home toy, sunglasses, and dental care bag that included a tooth brush, toothpaste, and cute animal floss sticks. Even though this place is a further drive for us, we feel it is totally worth it. read more

Lovely and clean location/office for the kids. Doctors are very nice and patient to answer questions and do the necessary treatments to the kids. Front desk staff are nice too. Highly recommended. read more

The best pediatric dental office I have come across in 15+ years as a dental hygienist! I have been looking for a pediatric office that didn't feel like you were stepping into a zoo.. Dr. Yang was so patient with both of my kids.. My son had 3 cavities that needed to be filled and we have tried 3 other dentists and he screamed and cried the whole appointment even under conscious sedation! Dr. Yang assured me that he will let her fill the cavity without nitrous and I had my doubts... Could not believe that not only did he not cry but he was totally calm and she was able to finish in record time! I sat in the room with my son on his first filling appointment and was totally blown away with her techniques.. Hands down she is absolutely amazing! We will be patients until they reach adulthood :)) read more

Our experience the first time was good despite a 30 minute wait to see Dr. Yang. However, our second appointment was changed at the last minute because Dr. Yang supposedly had to attend a conference and the only time we could get was 8 am on a Friday if we didn't want to wait for two months to see her. When my daughter and I arrived on time to our 8 am appointment, Dr. Yan's assistant (Ana) refused to give us 1 minute for my daughter to finish her bottle of milk in the waiting area as she hadn't had any food since 7 pm the night before. She was rude and simply told me that the office was running on time that day which is never the case. When I spoke to Dr. Yang about the incident, she simply said that it's hard to find good staff. I was very disappointed with the whole situation and just walked out of this practice. I've already found a better place for my daughter. read more
