I love this dentist, they are so friendly and professional. They all remember me and call me by name, and do such a good job. I used to think going to the dentist was an awful and terrible experience, but they make me feel so much more comfortable and are so much more gentle than any other dentists I've been to. They are also super contentious of dentist anxiety and sensitivity! The staff are amazing and extremely helpful Dr. Alvandi is extremely bright, friendly, and professional. She explains things to you in a simple manner without any pressure! I have never felt like I was being sold anything here. In fact, plenty of times, I learned a few things! Do not come here! They told me I needed 14 root canals. I got one root canal which was very expensive and decided to get another opinion. The new dentist said I didn't need any root canals. When I finished paying Briter Dental and started seeing the new dentist, they call me back months later saying they charged me the wrong amount and I need to pay around $300 more. When I told them over the phone that the new dentist said I did not need any root canals, they told me to run. It has been many months since and I don't have any pain or problems with my teeth. They do not care about you here and will try to rob you for everything they can get from you! read more

I have had at least 4-5 appointments at this establishment and each appointment gradually got worse. Only reason i didn't change dentist establishments was because they had already started work on my teeth that would've have needed more follow up appointments. I have read a few of the reviews and someone stated that in the first appointment they will make you feel so special and have great service, that is absolutely true. But every appointment after the first one was terrible. When i arrived they would immediately check me in then have me waiting for hours at a time in the chair. Im not sure if it is because maybe there was one doctor but this happened every appointment. There was one specific appointment where i needed a root canal. The doctor had talked to me about it and numbed me, that wasn't the issue until she left for periods at a time. So she would numb me, leave for an hour and a half then numb me again because it would go away. She did this about 3 times, so when the actual procedure started I didn't feel like i was numbed very well because i was having sensitivity. She then told me she can't numb me anymore because she already gave me enough dosage for today. So on top of waiting hours in the chair, I was so sensitive during the entire procedure. That was the worst appointment of them all but the main issue is the waiting time is so extremely long. I would be there for 4 hours for something as simple as getting fillings in 2 teeth. It was ridiculous and i wanted to share my experience because i still haven't finished my teeth work but i refuse to go back. read more

Had a great visit, I did a walk in due to issues with a molar. After a very quick workin less than 1 hr I had a x-ray and consult with the dentist. I found out I needed a root canal and discussed with Maria the payment option since I do not carry dental insurance, we agreed to a plan and moved forward. I was a patient here when we lived in Katy. My dentist told me I needed a crown and all sort of extra dental works, which I did not have the money to pay. Well, I did save up to try to get them, but thanks goodness I went ahead and got a second opinion from another dental office before spending thousands of dollars on them. It turned out that my teeth were fine!!! I did not need any of those works! In fact, they found a bubble in one of my tooth which was a result of a poor job in dental filling. My family and I have been coming to Briter Dental for 12 years, so we definitely feel at home here. It is a family owned business with Dr. Alvandi at the helm. There are three female dentists, all of which I have seen, and they are each awesome. For some reason or another I usually end up seeing Dr. Alvandi and it's clear that she gets to know each and every patient. Like I said, my parents, brother, and I have been coming here for so long that they know us very well. Even when I went off to college, and even now living in another state, I STILL come back because the customer service is amazing. Dr. Alvandi always asks about my parents, wants updates on my brother, and remembers things I told her were happening years ago, like going through graduate school or getting married. She, and the rest of the dentists, assistants, and staff are super personable and will make it a point to remember you. Dan and Maria work the front desk and are equally awesome. Again, they remember who I am, even when I call, and always welcome me back. I just feel like family here. The office itself is clean, modern, and has great natural light. There is a rather large fountain in the center of the waiting room which makes it feel calm and tranquil. There are a few toys for children as well, which is nice if you need to bring your family along to wait while you get worked on. There is a TV if you want to watch something but there are also dozens of magazines if you're a reader. The couches are pretty comfortable, too. Going to the dentist isn't my favorite thing in the world. I have pretty sensitive teeth and I loathe all the high pitch noises. However, whenever I am worked on, whether I'm just getting a cleaning or if I'm having something as serious as a root canal (only once, hopefully never again), they make the process as painless as possible. I am always given enough medicine to numb the pain and they want feedback and ask that you raise your hand if you ever want them to stop. They check in often as well so you don't have to feel awkward saying something. If you live in the area and are looking for a dentist, I highly recommend giving Briter Dental a try. They don't make you feel like "just another patient." Everyone in this office knows who I am and a little bit about me. I live in another state and STILL come back here to get my teeth checked; if that doesn't convince you how great they are, I don't know what will. Note* Parking can be a little tight here. I think there are only about 6 spots? If you can't find one, just try parking at the fast food joint next door and walking over - I've done it a few times over the years and never had any problems. read more

I tried to go to this location awhile back, but my insurance company didn't cover it. So i had to result to a sad place. My sisters have been raving about Briter dental and I just didnt know. My tooth has been killing me for the last couple of weeks. On Friday, I scheduled an appointment with castle dental for today. I wasn't able to sleep ALL night! I get to castle and the only person who was personable was the receptionist. The dentist was looking at my X-ray like he is scared of it. Damn i know my teeth are jacked up, but not like that!!! ;) Anyways, for a location with multiple docs and a sign saying they offer surgeries, they were trying to refer me to someone else for every option i chose. And of course, they didn't have same day appointments. By now the pain has tripled! I broke down and started crying. My sisters told me to go to briter dental! OMG!!! The receptionist was so sweet and understanding. She told me to come in and they can squeeze me in. If not, they will give me pain meds. Oh btw, i asked castle for some pain meds, they said they dont have any. Smh. Got there and EVERYONE was nice, kind and professional! They did a root canal same day for me! I took my 7 year old here. They said she had two cavities and needed to be put to sleep to fill them. I took her for a second opinion. The other dentist said my daughter had no cavities and showed me that there were no signs of a cavity even appearing. Don't go here. read more

I've been a patient at Briter Dental for 5+ years. Just this month, Dr. Alvandi took good care of a tooth I'd neglected for too long. She was very patient and never judgmental. Every experience I've had here has been positive. They even made a root canal bearable. Plus, I'll never have to give up wasabi peas. Staff - from front desk to technicians - are all genuinely friendly and helpful. I've also seen Dr. Ekhlassi several times, so I can vouch for her as well. My experience was not good. Right away they started pushing for expensive treatments and scheduling the next six appointments for additional (expensive) work. I noticed that the client in the next room need the same treatments- seemed odd to me. Note that my previous dentist who I saw shortly before did not recommend any of these same procedures nor did the dentist I went to for a second opinion. I've been a patient here for about 4 years now, and I would recommend the place to anyone looking for a high standard of care. A couple years ago they upgraded to digital xrays and put tvs in all the rooms, so when Dr. Ekhlassi told me I had cavities, she actually showed me on the xrays on the screen right in front of me. I'll never forget my first appointment when she actually told me I needed a root canal and a crown on one of my molars which was going to be super expensive. She told me that if it didn't need it she would just do a filling, but wanted me to be prepared for the worst case scenario. I'm a pretty skeptical person, and everyone has a friend who has an unfortunate anecdote about an unethical dentist, so my first thought was, "why would she pay herself less and do a treatment that will earn her a 10th of the revenue?" Regardless, I decided to have the treatment done, and would you know it she did end up doing only a filling! I would never have known if I didn't actually need it, and had literally already paid the girl up front for the root canal, expecting the worst. It is a really wonderful feeling to know that your Doctor is looking out for your best interests and not those of his or her wallet. I now have complete trust and faith in Dr. Ekhlassi and her team and can't see myself going anywhere else. Also I noticed that in the time I've been going there (about 4 years) I don't think the staff has changed once, which is an extremely good indicator that the assistants and staff are happy and well taken care of, which is the only mood I want from people working on my teeth!. Despite the fact that now I only really go once every 6 months for my cleaning, the staff and assistants at least seem to remember me and always make me feel comfortable and among friends. If I had to say something negative, there was one time where I waited about 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time to be seen. While most doctor's offices tend to have this problem, I was a little upset because I had a meeting to go to after my appointment, so after I grumbled a little bit, one of the assistants explained to me that they were running behind because of complications with another patient's case, and that the doctor was more concerned with doing it right than doing it fast. At first I heard that and felt like it was a was just a cheesy excuse to get people to feel better about being forced to wait, but when I started to think about it I remembered how the doctor didn't make me feel like she was rushing at all when she spent what must have been 20 or 30 minutes during my first visit explaining my treatment and answering all my questions, and I decided that I would rather wait 30 minutes to see a Dr who was going to make sure the job was done to perfection as opposed to someone who was looking to turn patients over as quickly as possible. read more

Okay, so long story short.. I needed fillings due to me getting braces.. I made an appointment for deep cleaning and fillings... it was the most painful dentist appointment EVER!! After I got my fillings and "deep cleaning" my teeth have never been the same. It hurt like hell. I went back a week after to get it checked out and "fix" but heck no.. it's been two months and my teeth hurt more now than they have ever hurt. No one explained anything to me, no one gave me instructions. Everything was so vague. They place doesn't look so sanitized. It was just weird. I will never recommend this place to anyone. First time. Was kept waiting then got X-Rays both inter oral and the whole head with the panoramic! Way to much radiation for one day! But I guess since they could find any thing in my teeth the had to force it! Any way. They acted as if I needed all these treatments done the dr. Sent in a bully in a suit trying to sell me on things I didn't need! And I guess when they notice I wasn't interested they acted as if they didn't want to proceed with what I went there for in the first place! It was the worst experience in my life! I get my teeth cleaned every 6 months, and was looking for a dentist in the houston area. I would never come back here. The dentist cleaned my teeth, and was extremely rough to the point where my gums were bleeding excessively. It was very painful throughout the cleaning. I brought my son here to get his teeth cleaned after our long-time dentist quit accepting our dental plan. After waiting 45 minutes, the dentist finally did xrays and examined his teeth. The receptionist came and got me to tell me he had 20 cavities, one of which might require a root canal, but they wouldn't know until they got into the tooth. They had no answer when I asked how he got 20 cavities in 6 months. They did have a treatment plan that involved 5 visits for over $2000. I asked for a printout and said I would discuss it with my husband. We made an appointment with our regular dentist and paid the regular price for a cleaning.
