After hearing so many horror stories regarding children who were sedated during their dental…read moreprocedures, I wasn't ready to have my four year old son go through that. My son had major tooth decay, which also affected his smile. I was worried that he'd have to undergo sedation, so my pediatrician recommended Dr. Hogan. Dr. Hogan is absolutely wonderful - after X-rays and examinations, he explained what was wrong and why he felt that sedation was necessary, although he does try to avoid that route. He went through every detail on what needed to be done and even offered different alternatives that would be more affordable. The days following my son's scheduled procedure, Dr. Hogan kept in contact with me and provided me reassurance. I was horrified at the thought of something going wrong during the sedation procedure, but Dr. Hogan patiently went through why he would never allow that to happen, let alone ever put my child in danger. On the day of the procedure, we were running late; however the office staff and Dr. Hogan were very kind and understanding. Although I was not allowed to stay with my son during his dental work, I had no problem - given that the entire staff is focused only on my son and needed to concentrate on making sure he has a healthy smile without any complications. The front office was very accommodating; they kept me updated on my son and also broke down all costs and fees to make sure I understood my charge thoroughly. The waiting room is clean and well kept with wonderful kid friendly decor. Once my son was finished, Dr. Hogan and the anesthesiologist sat down with me and answered any of my questions. Dr. Hogan also contacted me later on that evening to check up on my son. I am so incredibly grateful to have Dr. Hogan as my children's dentist. He genuinely cares for the well being of my child. If you're in need of a trustworthy dentist who cares about your child's dental health, I highly recommend Dr. Hogan.

They are so kid friendly, they have so many games to play while waiting in the waiting room, they always have great movies they can watch while they get their teeth worked on, and fun prizes at the end. They had a huge area with foam mats and blocks for kids to climb on and I was able to sit on the floor with him while he played so I could fill out the welcome paperwork. Next came the visit with Dr. Strassner (not sure if I spelt her name correctly) and she was absolutely wonderful! For one, because of my son's age, they don't expect him to be held down on a table so his teeth can be examined, which is what I was expecting, but they had a super kid friendly room with activities all over the wall and the doctor and I sat knee to knee so she could examine him while he was secured in both our laps. She was super thorough and cleaned his teeth in 30 seconds while we all sang him The Wheels on the Bus. She had an attentive, comforting bedside manner and made several excellent recommendations with alternative options depending on my comfort level. My son has a lip tie and she wasn't pushy about removing it because he is unaffected by it. After his (quick and thorough) visit, my son got to pick a toy from a bin and we were on our way. Wonderfully positive experience!

This place is not only AWESOME with kids play area and video games in the waiting room but they also have little private waiting areas for parents that are waiting for their child's procedure to be done. Ok to the most important part! The dentists here are ABOVE AND BEYOND! They have the patience and kindness for our little ones and they take their time to really explain exams, procedures, diagnosis and treatment plans. They are so thorough and pleasant. Plus they are very very reasonable. I have found a gem of a place and I can't recommend them enough!!! We had to have major oral surgery for my little one and everything was top notch! I do appreciate the professionalism of every staff member. There is just a different level of care and class at this practice

When my daughter first went here she was not scared of dentists visits. Through the years every time we would go the dr would find something and give us a treatment plan that insurance would not fully cover. My daughter would always have cavaties and over time she got very afraid to go to the dentist. So then we would have to pay to have her be given laughing gas. The last time we went the dr said she again had cavaties, this time 3 or 4. My husband made a comment to me about how he didn't believe our daughter had cavaties and it just seems like they are trying to shake us down. So while on vacation we took our daughter to a dentist and guess what....they told us she didn't have any cavaties. So when we came back home I found another dentist and surprise they also said she didn't have any cavaties! Reading the other reviews it sounds like a common scam they are running telling parents their kids need all this work when they really don't. Pushing parents to put kids under to charge extra money. After spending a lot of money there feel scammed and would like a refund. Now my kid has silver teeth that she probably didn't need. Do not go to this dentist office if you love your children. All they did was traumatize my kid! And reading all the other similar reviews they are doing unnecessary work to over charge parents.

It's been a long overdue for my review of Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry. First of all, I am a…read moredentist myself (a general dentist). Although I can technically see my children (who are 3 and 4 years old at this time) for their dental needs, I have always preferred to have pediatric dentists to see my children for their dental needs as I know there are certain aspects of patient care which are different for adult patients vs pediatric patients (also my kids tend to listen better to other adults than me). From the scheduling of initial appointment to every aspect of our visits including recall reminders, I am truly impressed with Dr. Yang and her team's approach to providing the best care possible. Office is exceptionally well kept including a very cute lobby area to the super fun patient care areas and the well trained team provides exceptional services with friendliness. Dr. Yang's treatment recommendations were solid recommendations with conservative approach in mind and I am so happy to have found Dr. Yang's office for my children. If you are looking for a pediatric office for your children's needs, I would not hesitate to check out Evergreen Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Yang. They are truly awesome and my kids are actually excited when they find out that they are going to see Dr. Yang! She is very busy but always kind. She is also very airway focused & evaluates children for orthodontic needs early -- which is better than the standard orthodontic approach which only starts after the bones and structures are largely fixed & fused, making adjustments a lot slower and more difficult. The only downside is the cost. They aren't in network with our dental insurance (Delta Dental) and the prices of the regular dental visits are $$$$. Like almost jaw droppingly expensive. But the upside is that she caught our daughter's issues early and is doing the orthodontic treatment in-house starting at age 5 -- so things can progress well

Then the dental hygienist came in and informed me that based on his review of my X-rays I needed a deep clean to remove some buildup under my gums (which he specifically said is not a new problem) but he'd be willing to do a medium deep clean. The insurance specialist informed me it would cost over $300, out of pocket. To be clear, I go to the dentist every 6 months and have my entire life. I brush twice a day and floss daily. The dentist today had no concerns about my teeth after reviewing my X-rays. No dentist (or dental hygienist) has ever recommended a deep clean before. And I was told this is "not a new problem." I declined the medium deep cleaning, the hygienist refused to do a regular cleaning and I left. The whole experience felt very scammy. And I still need to get my teeth cleaned.
