We love Dr Mehta and her entire team! Our 9 year old has been seeing her for a while with a complicated set of crowding and her professionalism and expertise has been top notch! Because they've been so amazing with her, I decided to bring our 7 year old who I suspected might need braces aswell for an evaluation. After a set of xrays, they recommended I see an ENT Doctor first since her adenoids seemed enlarged. Since I trust their input, we did and after an evaluation and a sleep study, we found out our sweet girl suffers from sleep apnea and will need her tonsils and adenoids removed, something I had no idea she suffered from since her only visible symptoms were ocassional trouble swallowing and snoring. I can't thank Dr Mehta and her team enough! They are the best!!! read more

I went to my orthodontist appointment and the last two appointments I had been told I I would be getting my braces off. So when I got to they appointment they asked me about changing my rubber band so I told them that I was told that I would be getting my braces off. They checked and said that it was not in the system. Of course I was very anger obviously there's a lot of miscommunication because I have been told that I would be for sure. Getting my braces off the past two appointments before this I was pretty pleased with them but I'm just not sure how you can mess that up for two appointments. read more

I made a consultation for my son and because he has had braces once and he needs them again they charged me $95 for the consultation. I was told that the money would go towards whatever he gets done which I understand but I had to cancel the appointment an hour after I made it and they said oh sorry your $95 in non refundable. They never said that the $95 is non refundable even if you have to cancel and never see anyone in their office. That is stealing money from people! We have never been there and I don't recommend this place to anyone. What kind of business makes you pay for no services and for cancellation a consultation appointment and hour after you did it. People beware they will keep your money for no reason! read more

I followed Dr.Mehta from an office in Pearland to her new location(Indigo Orthodontics). The staff is wonderful and I'm extremely happy to have made the transfer to continue my Invisalign case with she and her team! At the start of my orthodontic journey I visited 15 orthodontists, a number of which wanted to pull 2-6 extra teeth because of crowding(along with my Wisdom teeth) and turned down Invisalign. I wanted to find someone who cared about me, didn't take the easy route, and understood my insecurities with being a professional stylist with an already young appearance-in the middle of trying to build my clientele. I already got questioned on multiple occasions of my age, and my amount of experience in the industry... I didn't want to have braces for 3+ years on top of it! Dr.Mehta and her team were the perfect choice. Dr. Mehta's initial plan was to allow me to get as far as I could with Invisalign, and then finish out/ do some fine tuning at the end with ceramic braces. She also said "why pull teeth beforehand when we don't know yet if they will end up fitting or not! Let's wait and see- because we can't put them back in!" These words were what made me choose her, because I knew she wouldn't jump to conclusions without knowing for a fact that something needed to be done. I also had 2 silver crowns that were in bad condition and in need of replacement, she suggested we pull those (if any) teeth needed to come out later down the road, which would save me an expense of 2-3,000$! As of today I am halfway done with my Invisalign journey and I've made insane progress with ONLY Invisalign (no need for braces at all)! All of my teeth ended up fitting just fine with no extractions(thank god I didn't let anyone pull any)! I am so much more confident with my smile already and I'm not even done. I make the commute to see Dr.Mehta from Kemah, which is over an hour drive each way, but WAY worth it! I will recommend Indigo to anyone I know who is looking for Orthodontic treatment! read more

I found Indigo on Yelp and had my consultation and fitting on the same day. I didn't know what to expect, but the process was very straight forward. The office is clean and I love the decor. The receptionist at the front desk were very welcoming. To be honest, the whole process of making the appointment and filling out paperwork was a breeze. Never had an easier process making any type of appointments with a doctor. Dr. Mehta is amazing! She was very detailed and encouraged me to ask any questions I may have regarding the process. At no point did I feel rushed. She was very communicative and made me feel like I knew her for ages. I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Mehta and her office. I'm thankful for this orthodontist. On initial consult she identified that my daughter had airway restriction and that she needed a palate spreader to correct. Followed up with ENT who backed up diagnoses. My daughter is thrilled to get braces and is sleeping better every day. Bless this orthodontist! Dr. Mehta and Heather gave me my child's medical record via email shortly after I wrote my initial review on Yelp despite having told me that they would not be giving it to me until the end of the week. I was then sent an email informing me that Dr Mehta would be dismissing my child from her practice. I then asked for a full refund which Heather said would be sent by the end of the week. There would have been no issue had Indigo Orthodontics not misrepresented themselves as having and acting upon that misrepresentation as having the legal authority to appoint one parent as a sole point of contact, decision-maker, and having sole rights to child's healthcare info. I understand some individuals may not agree with the laws in Texas and the USA, but a business choosing to not abide by these laws in favor of the their own personal preferences creates lawlessness and instability. Needless to say this incidence has generated great instability for my child and has been a HUGE time waster! Have not experience anything like this anywhere else! read more

Dr. Mehta was great with our children. We went in for a consultation, just to check it out and see if it was the place for us, and it was! After Dr. Mehta met our children and did the examination, they felt at ease with her and decided to get the braces put on right then and there. We were given many options on their payment plans and they definitely tried to help us out as much as possible(we have 2 kids!). The staff is so friendly and personable. Dr. Mehta is absolutely amazing. She is extremely compassionate, truly understands a child's pain, a great quality which sets her apart. Very accommodating as well. My daughter is about 75% into her treatment for underbite correction and we are seeing great results. I have no personal experience with an orthodontist before, didn't know what to expect, but the moment I saw Dr. Mehta I had this gut feeling that she is the one for my daughter and I'm sooo glad I chose her (though there are at least half a dozen orthodontist offices around my house and Indigo is a bit far comparatively). We have being searching for an orthodontist for our daughter, since we knew it was time for her to get her braces. 4 weeks ago my wife finally went to Indigo for our first visit consultation. She called me to come over, that we finally found our orthodontist.... Yeahhhhhh! So I went over there immediately because they were going to do it right away and the price was right! Dr. Mehta not only cared about our daughter's teeth but also for her well being! She suggested an expander because she noticed she's a mouth breather it would help her breath better. She suggested we visit a ear nose and throat doctor afterwards (very caring ). All the other orthodontist we visited didn't notice or comment about that and they were more expensive too. My daughter left feeling confident and excited about getting braces, that alone made the visit worth a while. Today we went for her follow up visit and to put in the expander. She took time to educate us on how to use it. Let me tell you I couldn't be more pleased with Dr. Mehta and her staff. The atmosphere is very pleasant and clean.   Here is my super 5 recommendation!!
