I visited today for a quick bite. It was my first time there since management had changed and I was quite pleased with the experience. The inside has been properly remodeled and extremely clean, the pizza was delicious and consistent (I ended up leaving with a whole pie for the kids after my two slice lunch special) and the new owner was a pleasure to meet and chat with. The subs we got were sour. We think the mayonnaise was bad. i know when people come in close to closing it is not fun, perhaps you may even be mad but REGARDLESS, you. Make. The. food. Edible. I work in customer service. I have had people come in right before close. Even one minute before close but we still made the food proper. At the end of the day they are still paying for the food. This is, hands down, the best pizza in central PA. The sauce is has a great flavor with just a hint of sweetness, there is always the perfect amount of cheese, and the dough is delicious. Subs and sandwiches are pretty good as well, but I can't say enough how great the pizza is, both round and Sicilian. We are new to the area and decided to order from Roma's based on the other reviews. We ordered around 5:30 on a weekday. Around 6:30 I called back to find out the status of our order. I was told that they were busy and the driver had a lot of deliveries we should see it soon. When our pizza finally arrived 15 minutes later we were disappointed to have received a barley warm pizza and soggy mozzarella sticks. We ordered an extra large 18" pizza. What we got was about a 16" pizza at best. The dough was rubbery and dry, there was very little sauce and minimal cheese. We will have to try a different place in the future. Update** I got a call from someone at Roma's nearly 2 hours after my order was delivered saying there was a mix up and they wanted to charge my credit card an additional $5. This post only got a star because it forced me. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT using this restaurant. From the moment I called they were rude, the guy on the phone kept asking to repeat myself. Had to repeat everything 3 times.. they proceeded to say thank you for your order and it will be there in 35 to 45 minutes. Well the hour mark hit so I called to see the status of the order, and just like that they didn't know. Then they said they have to call the driver, that took 20 minutes to get a call back. So one and half hours go by and the food arrives. In disgust the food went back. The driver said he would discount the check, so I said you can take the food back. Poor service = poor restaurant = you food most likely isn't that good. Best of luck surviving with the quality of service this establishment has. read more

Generally our choice for pizza in Palmyra. Delivery is usually fast and the pizza is almost always great. The wings...are bad. Sandwiches are solid. Warning for those ordering salads, the garden salad is seriously shredded lettuce, a few tomato slices, and shredded cheese. That is it. Don't do it. read more

Writing this review after many times of going to Roma and putting up with their terrible service, food, and ATTITUDE! This last time was the final straw! We usually avoid Roma Pizza, because of past experiences and their small quantity of food for the price is not any kind of value, especially compared to all the other pizza shops in the area, but we were desperate the other night at around 9:10pm and decided to order delivery. They are opened until 10pm, so we assumed it would be ok to order for delivery and we are very close to the shop anyhow. We called and the guy that answered the phone could not understand a word we were saying when ordering. Then another guy got on the phone and was extremely rude, demanding "how many subs do you want, 2, 5, 10...what, HOW MANY!!??" Then he demanded to know how far away we lived to decide if they were going to deliver or not. More rudeness occurred afterwards that I can't type here, then he just hung up the phone! About 15-20 minutes later we get a knock on the door and some guy showed up with our food. We opened up the subs we ordered and they barely had anything in them, even though we ordered SUPER SIZED, knowing that the regulars are small to begin with. These subs were pitiful and wrapped in what appeared to be USED FOIL dug out of the TRASH! We were afraid to eat the food, because of how rude the guys were on the phone, we thought they may have done something to the food! This is not the first time they have been so incredibly rude and ignorant! Many times we stopped in there to get lunch and they are just as RUDE in person as they are on the phone! First you are IGNORED until they decide to acknowledge that you walked into their shop 10 minutes ago and are standing in front of them watching them ignoring you. Then they act so bothered when taking your order, no smile, no appreciation for your business. Then you get the pitiful amount of food and BURNT french fries and wonder why you went there in the first place,..to be abused? Listen, there are far BETTER CHOICES in Palmyra than this dump! You will regret ever going here, mark my words! Those "positive reviews" are their friends and family members trying to boost their business that is FAILING terribly. No matter how desperate we get, we will NEVER eat this TRASH again, let alone their rock hard crust, cardboard dry pizza!
