    Margherita Pizza
    Omar S.

Order a Margherita pizza. Sub par. No sauce. Was essentially a white pizza with diced tomato's and basil. Over priced for what it is. Me and my 3 year old make pizzas and she makes better pizza than that. First slice I picked up had a piece of plastic that I bit into. Delivery driver forgot my drink, plates and cups. Although he did run back and get them so he's earned one of the stars. Not authentic. Wouldn't touch this place with the dog sh*t on the bottom of my shoe.

I got the pizza special two slice and a bottle drink. Pizza was good. Employee was friendly.

Food is mediocre at best. None of the employees were wearing masks when I picked up food for a friend. Will not recommend or return.

Fantastic pizza joint! I'm sure the locals know about it, but give it a try if you're in town for Hershey.

This place has…read morebeen so many different restaurants over my life, but on a recent visit I was glad to see one with many positive reviews had gone in. On a long walk of town on one day of my trip, it worked out that this one was open for lunch and I got to try it. It ended up being a favorite of my visit and I ended up eating here twice. The first time for lunch I stuck to the specials menu and had the chimichanga. It's served with rice and beans, plus fresh veggies and salsas. All salsas and sauces are made homemade and fresh, which is a huge draw of this place. Portion sizes are generous for the price, and flavor was great. Their hot sauces are also homemade: a mild red one and a hot creamy green one. Try both for sure! On the second visit, I had a burrito. I also dined with a friend who was impressed as well. They also have a menu of non-Mexican inspired dishes, so there's something for everyone here. The interior is open and bright, with booths and tables. Both times the server was super friendly and welcoming, very attentive through the visits. Parking is out back.

I ordered by phone for take out the bistro salad and a side of black beans after confirming with the staff that they were vegan. My only small recommendation is for the time estimate to be better. I was told it would only take 10 minutes to prepare. So I ordered my food then drove to the restaurant. Overall it took about 25 minutes for my food to be ready and handed to me. The staff were nice. The environment seemed nice although I didn't eat in. And there was parking in the rear. I am glad Miaa was there for my visit to Palmyra.

The place has a very casual, come-as-you-are bar-and-kitchen vibe, which fits the area well. Nothing felt overly polished or fancy, and that is not a criticism. It seemed like the kind of local spot where people can just show up, relax, and get a solid meal. The problem was the service on this visit. We showed up right around the breakfast-to-lunch transition and thought we had made it in time for breakfast, but apparently not. We got seated pretty quickly, which made it seem like things were moving along, but then we sat there for about 20 minutes with water glasses and no water, and really no meaningful attention at all. By the time someone finally came over with the water, we were already done and decided to head somewhere else down the street. It was also getting fairly loud while we were sitting there, and the staff seemed tired or stretched thin, so I would not be surprised if we caught the place at a bad moment, maybe during a shift change or just an awkward transition between breakfast and lunch. The restaurant was busy, which usually says something good, and the food we saw going to other tables looked pretty solid. That is why I landed on 3 out of 5. This was not a bad experience in the usual sense. It was more of a non-experience. We never got far enough to judge the food, and I do not think it would be fair to hammer the place over one oddly timed visit. But sitting that long without even getting water was enough for us to leave.

It gets a little busy Sunday late morning until close, but the wait time is usually 20 to 30 minutes. I think the longest I've ever waited was 40, but it's well worth it. Everyone in town knows how good it is, so if you want to get right in come early. If you come later , and have to wait a little bit, I guarantee you'll be happy you did! I craved some comfort food before the long ride home and I remembered The Hershey Pantry from my college days at PSU, which now feels like 138 years ago. We stopped in and had the most delightful, sweet waitress: Piper. The food was just what we wanted: filling and familiar. Hubs had a chicken caprese sammie and I had a reuben with turkey. Both hit the spot. I saw a coconut cake slice go by for another table and had to order one immediately to go. OMG - GET THE COCONUT CAKE. I had it as a late night snacky and it was tender with the right amount of coconut, and frosting that was light like an angel's wings. My only regret is that we live 3.5 hours away and can't come back anytime soon.
