I Ordered a sushi combo that included a drink and a salad after I purchased I asked if I can trade my salad for a mitso soup they denied me saying that the salad is more expensive than the soup and they didn't want to refund me the difference I said I wasn't asking for a refund they still didn't honor my request. I work for a business with allot of employees I will not recommend this place. And the salad horrible! read more

I can see why the ratings are not fabulous. Basic belly filler Japanese fare. So-so spicy tuna roll and a mediocre yakisoba with chicken. Bad salad. Disinterested service, no place to sit outside, no trash can for your trash. read more

This place was disgusting. I ate there and my "fresh fish" was warm. I have never had sushi melt inside my mouth. I came home and after a couple hours I got food poisoning and I do not recommend eating here. Staff was nice but the sushi is not cuttin it. read more

They close at dinner time and apparently they think I work for them. If I go in close to closing they always ask me to close up the doors for them on the way out because they are too lazy to walk across their ten foot sink g area. I don't work here. And now, I also don't eat here. How dare you ask me to help close up shop for you. read more

We were hungry & craving some sushi, after a hard leg workout. We also needed to go to the Mills to handle some things. So we stopped into Rolling Rice. The chicken was so-so. The rolls were good, but because they were served in a cardboard plate, they were getting stuck to it. When picking up the roll from the cardboard plate we would loose almost half of it. It was frustrating trying to get the rest of the roll off the plate. read more

I haven't been to this place for years. So glad that I tried it again because the food quality is so much better, the service was great and the restaurant was clean. I highly recommend their rolls. The ramen was a quick fix and the beef bowl was decent. I will try to go back soon for the chicken katsu. The menu prices were very reasonable. The staff were fast, efficient and friendly. read more

First time eating lunch here brought my hubby. Been wanting to check the place out. The hubby loved the flavoring especially the Love Love and Jen Jen rolls. Nice sushi lil place nothing fancy, but satisfying. Excellent food can definitely compete with any 5 star restaurants around them. And don't be surprised if it's beat them. It's not bad. But it's not good either. Ordered the teriyaki chicken and beef combo. The rice was ok a little on the dry side. The chicken was really over cooked and was tough to chew. I was hoping it would be on the tender side. The beef tasted fine but the sauce over everything was really salty. I'm probably not going to go back. read more

First impression I wasn't sure what I walked into. It was sit down but not??? Anyway I ordered the tonkatsu ramen. The broth was ok the noodles were over cooked and the pork was chewy and rubbery. The bamboo shoots were tough and the nature was very firm. They had put half a slice of egg and it was kind of sweet. It was just not the place for me. read more

I was intrigued by the reviews for this sushi "fast food" joint - reasonable prices, quick service, fresh sushi?! I should have known something wasn't right here... I ordered a spicy tuna roll (8pc, ~$5) and a shrimp tempura crunch roll (5pc, ~$6) - your typical cheap fast food fair and prices? - not really. The main downfall at Rolling Rice (food-wise) is that they don't seem to use sushi rice... it is just plain old rice, the kind that is served with their chicken katsu and teriyaki. The tuna was alright, but nothing special. For my crunch roll, the shrimp tempura was pretty much non-existent in my roll... and if there was any trace of shrimp in that pre-made and cold shrimp tempura, it didn't taste fresh. Overall, it was just slightly above bearable in terms of sushi... but I can be a sushi snob. The service was pretty slow, and the prices are kinda high for "fast food", but maybe I'll come back to give their teriyaki menu a go? Beware, their low sodium (green cap) soy sauce was not low in sodium at all... it was dark soy sauce and not meant to be used abundantly. read more

Fast and just right for the money. They are also very friendly. I found my way here after being completely ignored at the thai restaurant in the same parking lot so it was nice to walk over and be greeted by a friendly person as soon as I walked in the door. Even though he was already helping someone else he made sure to notice that I walked in and that deserves a million stars after being made to feel invisible at the Green Mango. The food was good! Not only was it good it was also very fast. I am talking about a timeline of: order, fill up drink cup and before I even settle in a seat, my food is there! Awesomeness galore! Had lunch here with a coworker a few days back. Location is pretty tiny, not great for big groups. However, location is clean and well maintained. The location is the type where you order up front and the staff brings you the meal. Food was brought out quickly and correctly. I had Chicken Udon, which was absolutely fantastic, absolutely good bang for the buck. I also got the eggrolls, which tasted very plain and seemed very similar to the stuff you could buy at Trader Joe's and pan-fry yourself. My coworker bought an assortment of sushi rolls and was greatly disappointed. She thought the crunch rolls were more mushy than crunchy, and that this place did not scratch her itch for sushi at all. I might go back for the Udon or to try the ramen, but maybe avoid the sushi and eggrolls. read more

VERY CLEAN place, I just had to review it. The Teriyaki Chicken/beef combo is sooooo delicious. I want to know the type of sauce that they use. It is really good. The owner and staff are really nice. I love eating here on my lunch break. Its a pretty quiet place and its a nice change where you can focus on the taste of the food and listen to the chef prepare the food instead of listening to annoying pop music on loud speakers like at other restaurants..
