Just came to drink, recently came back from Japan and we've been looking for this beer. Quick and friendly service, beer was in tap, I wanted it colder but it was still good. Had a Sapporo after and the hubby has Kirin, the place smelled good so next time we will try some food.

The service here is unlike anywhere and it's in some random spot in Rancho??? Forget kabuki at Victoria gardens, come here for amazing sushi. Big cuts, good flavors and melt-in-your-mouth fish. The salmon literally felt like a cloud. And the BAKED ROLLS??? They were so fragrant!!! And crispy!!! I've never had a baked roll this good. I want to give a shout out to Imelda and Henry who were so sweet. Imelda saw us saying grace before food and waited before placing down the plates which was so insanely respectful and unnecessary but she waited anyway. The restaurant also had two birthdays and Henry could literally be a hypeman or dj. He even got me cheering for a random birthday. The service here was such a vibe. I can't recommend this place enough 10/10. Good food, no wait, amazing service. I'll be back

The novelty of a smooth, earthy and hoppy Matcha IPA, three skilled chefs behind the sushi counter, and the availability of fresh odori ebi make this establishment worth a visit.

Came in on a Thursday around 1. It wasn't too busy and there was only one server. The service was good, we were sat quickly and helped right away. The food didn't take too long to come out and it was pretty great. I ordered a Golden roll and a veggie roll. They were both yummy. I had never had a veggie roll with asparagus in it, I thought that was kinda fun. The golden roll was good but the cream cheese inside or maybe something else did make the shrimp tempura inside get a little mushy- but that's ok it's to be expected with the moisture from the cream cheese. Over all really good. My husband got a pork katsu meal, some salmon roll, and an avocado roll. He said the rolls were excellent and the pork katsu plate was good his only complaint was at how little sauce they originally gave him for the pork katsu meal and that the salad they brought out had no dressing originally- We had to ask for some. But again over all great. For whatever reason when we went it was 30 percent off so we paid about 60 dollars which we felt was reasonable. I would come again, but my husband prefers Area 909 Sushi still so we'll see if I'll be able to come back

ORDER (5/5) holt roll , crawfish roll , jessica roll , spicy rainbow all were so yummy! the texture of the fish was smooth and they were not skimpy on the crawfish at all. they also start you off with edamame. the rolls are all 30% off as well, but a 15% gratuity fee is automatically added. will definitely come back. SERVICE (5/5) such a welcoming environment HAHA. our servers were very nice and accommodating. the rolls came out quickly as well. AMBIANCE very spacious inside!

Best sushi ever and very affordable!! We go when we are craving good sushi! Customer service is amazing they always make sure you are doing well and are super friendly!

Been coming here for years and decided it was time for another review. Service continues to be outstanding as always. We have never had a bad experience. The staff is attentive and quiet ambiance. I will say looks like portions got smaller and they are using more rice and cream cheese than before. We visited on a Saturday and they had 30% off rolls.

Tried mango roll and California roll. The rolls were beautiful, nice presentation. Quick service.

Came here for a second time and found the food and service just as excellent as my previous visit. One important note I learned is that if you ask, there are other items that you can get that is not on the main menu. We were lucky to be treated with some tuna head meat, a delicacy and not always available ... the cheek meat was specially delicious. And so was the halibut sashimi but my attention this time went to the Minispoon. It's a small dish of rice, uni, salmon eggs, and seaweed. Somehow, it felt amazingly satisfying to create my own uni sushi with the desired portion of ingredients. Also, I found out later when a table nearby requested the $50 omakase special that the chef makes for the regulars. I will definitely come back to try it out because the variety and qunatity was very generous.

FYI - no more 50% Rolls. It's 30% now. Still no AYCE. Got our sushi fix. Great staff as usual.

As a sushi/sashimi lover, I enjoy discovering hidden sushi bars. I heard of Sake 2 Me sushi restaurant before but never tried it. Finally I got to try out this place in Ranch Cucamonga (although this place was bit far from my house, a friend recommended this specific location). We started off with some garlic edamame and small tempuras and oh boy, one of the best garlic edamame I've had! The oysters were also very fresh and clean. I also have to mention that the presentation of the dishes were like a piece of art! I had to complement the head chef Ricky for the beautiful work he made for us!! Their salmon and tuna were so fresh and fatty too. I was too busy eating that I kept forgetting to take photos of them and left with only three photos haha!

I'm a huge roll lover and here all the speciality rolls are 30% off which is super worth imo! Food (5/5) - we got a variety of appetizers; I loved all the different types of tempura , the edamame had such good seasoning, and the squid rings tasted kinda like calamari in onion ring form! - the baked scallop roll was my fav super yummy and had very generous portion of scallops! - golden tiger roll: had shrimp tempura inside, the cream cheese paired really well with the baked crunchy outside - California roll and shrimp tempura roll: love these standard rolls as well Service (5/5) The chefs greet you super enthusiastically when you arrive and leave which I loved LOL Very attentive and fast service. Would definitely come back again. I encourage everyone to support small family owned restaurants like this!

Sake 2 Me Sushi Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - Sake 2 Me Sushi

Are they doing ayce as of 6/29/22?

No I just visited last weekend and they have it posted on the door too.

Are the special rolls 50% off like the Sake 2 Me in Montclair?

Yes they are. Not sure for how much longer but you can also order 50% off on togo orders as well

    Is it currently ayce?

    No it's currently not available

So they still have all you can drink and eat sushi?

    No they do not

Hows the business open? Do they offer dine- in now? Do they still offer 50% off special roll in weekend?

Yes they do offer indoor and outdoor seating. And it's walk up only no reservations. And they offer 50% off all week I believe. But it's only certain roles they no longer have all you can eat.

Are they doing all you can eat right now?

No 50% off all special rolls

Where can I get a current menu? All pictures posted of menus are 3+ years old.

I was just there took a picture of the menu . Look under the pictures under menu !

Are they still doing AYCE now that dine-in is outside?

    No AYCE

Do they still have the 50% take out special?

    Yes 12/4 they are

Is it still ayce sushi and drinks?

Sure is! Just had the AYCE sushi and drinks last week.

    Do they have teriyaki chicken?

Yes they do. Most of the non sushi eaters that join me order this along with gyozas (fried dumplings) and they love it.

I heard now you guys have all you can eat and drink, is that true? If so, how much and what times?

Yes they do! It's 30 plus tax. Comes with standard all you can eat and unlimited draft beer and unlimited hot sake. Not sure if they'll have this deal permanently but it's been going on for a few months now and is still going on. It's all day…

The rolls came very saucy, and most plates had an aesthetic appearance. Personally, if I were to ever revisit this location, I'd only order the garlic noodles w/ shrimp & the nigiri. For this review, I will focus on the Lobster Tail Roll ($36), Gyoza ($14), and Monaka Ice Cream ($7). I arrived at Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) on Sunday (around 12:50PM). Parking is very easy. The lot is HUGE. I had a reservation for 1PM, but a reservation felt superfluous since the restaurant was VERY empty. Throughout the entire dining experience, I only noticed one other group arrive. Staff is the HIGHLIGHT! Staff (receipt says JoJo) was the MAIN superstar. JoJo charmed the table; JoJo maintained a professional, kind demeanor; and JoJo worked very hard. JoJo gave excellent recommendations, and JoJo maintained a friendly, bright smile throughout our visit. Regarding food, it felt inconsistent. The food in the beginning was plated elegantly and carefully. However, as time progressed, it felt like the kitchen was beginning to rush despite the lack of customers. Food arrived very slowly, and later plates looked a little splattered and untidy. Thankfully, most of the food was very good. It's a journey of texture, fresh ingredients, and light & bright flavors. The Lobster Tail Roll ($36) had fried lobster bits, asparagus, avocado, masago, eel sauce, and mayo. It tasted like a vegetable roll at times. The Gyoza ($14 - 6 Piece) was panfried with seasoned pork and vegetables. Tasty!! And the Monaka Ice Cream ($7) is tiny with Macaroon Shell and a small scoop of Green Tea Ice Cream. All in all, these dishes didn't feel special, but they were prepared well enough. On ambiance, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is very attractive. The location is dimly lit, very clean, and spacious. However, the music is awkward at times. There were moments where light, lovely music was playing... only for random yelling music to briefly appear... to then suddenly be replaced with a country-style song. It all felt surreal. I don't think it was intended, but I think their music playlist was accidentally switched to the wrong track. Overall, Kuwada (Rancho Cucamonga) is an interesting experience. Honestly, the only reason this review is "5 Stars" is because our waitress was EXEMPLARY. Although the ambiance and cooking staff was lackluster, the front of house is MAGIC. This is a not bad, pricey place. 4.5 out of 5

I called to let them know and they were completely understanding! When we arrived, we were greeted and seated promptly. Waters were brought to the table quickly as well. The decor in this place is amazing! They were also playing really good music! We started with the combination carpaccio which was perfect because we each got to try the tuna, salmon and yellowtail. It was delicious! Then we ordered the Surf & Turf roll which is spicy crab and coconut shrimp, topped with seared Wagyu, truffle oil yuzu, and eel sauce--absolutely incredible! Next was the Kuwada roll which is crab, avocado and tempura flakes, topped with baked lobster, eel sauce, and masago. The presentation on this one was extraordinary--and the flavor was amazing! Finally we finished with the Shrimp Lover Roll which is crab shrimp tempura and cucumber, topped with shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo, and eel sauce--another winner! Jojo did an excellent job serving and clearing plates, as well as keeping our water filled! This place is a treasure and I can't wait to go back!

Take your break in the back, or outside the restaurant. Not in the dining room right next to customers. The food portions have gotten smaller while the price goes up; I get it that the economy sucks, but I don't think you have to do both. The last 2 times we have eaten there, once to go and once to dine in, the rolls are so poorly constructed they fall apart as soon as you touch them and the rice sticks to the plate. We maxed out all the limited items, which was very generous, however, I wasn't sure of how many rounds were available, or how many pieces total were going to be included in the limited items, so we ended up with a LOT of nigiri. My first time here with my husband tonight based on a recommendation by one of my clients actually…read more He said it was the best sushi this side of Little Tokyo because Ken gets his fish fresh in Los Angeles! I had to try it out with that recommendation! I had gotten a reservation for 6, for a table. It's known for omakase so if that's what you're looking for, ask for a seat at the sushi bar. We were welcomed by Emi (Emiliano) at the front and seated immediately. Plenty of parking behind the building. Table seating in the front room and sushi bar in the back. I don't typically appreciate tv screens in restaurants, but this one was playing scenic photos of places in Japan so that was ok. My husband ordered an Echigo beer (his favorite Japanese beer which is not offered everywhere), and I ordered a glass of Plum wine. He then chose the Godzilla roll which was a crunchy roll wrapped in eel and avocado, whereas I chose the Passionflower which was tuna, salmon, yellowtail and crab meat wrapped in cucumber. Emi told me it was one of his favorites. :) My husband enjoyed the Godzilla roll very much--he found flavorful and satisfying. Both the ginger and the wasabi were fresh and delicious. The Passionflower roll was so fresh the fish melted in my mouth, and the crunch of the thinly sliced cucumber was delightful. It was by far the most unique roll I've ever tried, containing neither rice nor nori. I loved it! It paired well with my sweet plum wine and then the complimentary green tea ice cream Emi brought us for dessert! So overall, ambience was 3/5 but food and service was 5/5, I'd love to return and try other rolls! Highly recommend!

I cut the omakase short but I feel like I was just charged the full price. I have no clue because they keep everything secret. The fish quality was... American sushi quality.
