I had a terrible experience with this pharmacy. My doctor chose to use this one saying they will mail it out to me. Well that took over a week to happen. They said " they called me once and my voicemail was full" I take responsibility for that since I get a lot of spam calls. However, they did not try to call but one time. I called them 5 days after seeing him doctor. They said " we will sent it out priority and cover the cost." But 4 days later I still didn't have it. I called and the person that answered the phone. Stated " there was no note about priority and it was sent out regular mail" I did finally receive it 9 days after my doctor placed the order. They are 38 miles from my house it should not have taken that long. I would not suggest using them unless you live close or communicate with them well. read more

Friendly staff. Easy to work with. My Wife had a Dermatologist write a prescription for a cream that is not typically covered by my insurance. Rolling Oaks was able to get the prescription covered by my insurance and with no copay. They would have delivered it for free but I chose to pick it up so my wife could start using it sooner. read more

The worst pharmacy I have ever used. They don't return calls. They don't remind you that it is time for a refill. Then on the third time you call them they tell you they will mail it out to arrive in 3-5 days. Lack of professionalism when I left two messages saying I am down to a couple of days and need a refill. The flyer my doctor gave me for this pharmacy since they pushed for me to use them says delivery free of charge. They said it to me when I picked up my meds the first time. There website says over night delivery, but they tell me $30. I am in the same city for crying out loud but cannot pickup my meds due to their hours of operation and NO Saturdays. I need my meds and obviously will pay but will be looking to transfer my Rx somewhere else. read more

Very disappointed at this pharmacy. Agreed with other Yelp Reviews they do not return calls. It has taken a month to get a medication and now I have to go back to the Dermatologist. The answer that I got was you dont need to go back to the dermatologist you have refills. LOL I never got the first medication... The girl that answered the phone has no customer service skills (not professional) and was very blah on the phone. There was no professionalism when I called in and I left messages in the general mailbox with no returned calls. The doctor's office called and asked where my scripts are. I was having the hardest time locating my prescription at multiple pharmacies, but NOT at Rolling Oaks Pharmacy. My Dr was able to call my prescription in and ROP mailed it to me :) It did take a while before I got my prescription, but I think its because ROP needed to get ahold of me via phone to get my insurance info and pay my co-pay. I would have liked an email notification or text to inform me on what was missing/needed in order to move forward. read more

Their service is good and they have an in house pharmacist who helps you understand the usage of the drug and it's dosage.. call them for a refill a week before you finish your bottle and they will ship the next dosage. read more

Went to fill a prescription given to me by my Dermatologist. The coupon that I was given stated that the most I should pay for the cream was $0 - $25. They were trying to charge me $50, even after I showed them the coupon that I was given. Pharmacist, Dan, basically stated they they need to make something on it, the reason for the price. Was referred here by my son's dermatologist. They were very helpful and able to get the medication we needed covered by our insurance. Fast forward a few months to now and my son had a flare up of eczema during this pandemic. We had a video appointment with our derm, he sent the script to Rolling Oaks. Our dermatologist told us his Rx would be sent to Rolling Oaks and we would receive the medication in the mail. Later I thought I would like to know the expected cost before they mailed the medication. I checked prices with our regular pharmacy so I could judge the reasonableness of their pricing. I called Rolling Oaks to get the drug price and was told they would have to process it through the "insurance" before they could giveit to me. When I told him it would not be covered by insurance I was told that they could not provide the medication. read more

My dermatologist recommended me to this pharmacy as they are able to get better prices than most pharmacies for dermatology products since they are a specialty dermatology pharmacy. First off, they are busy but try to get everyone out as fast as they can (which I appreciate). And if you cannot wait at the pharmacy, they have complementary mailing!!! That is my favorite part that they can mail anything to your address and that this pharmacy has coupons to lower the cost of the prescription! I had initially taken my prescription to another pharmacy that quoted me $150!!! When I took my prescription to rolling Oaks pharmacy, Dan (the pharmacist) was able to get it for $50! Went here as a recommendation from my Dr as he said they would give me a good price... Lies. Went here and the Rx was not in stock and they said they would have to special order it and it would cost $195. Ridiculous for such a generic Rx. Took my Rx to CVS and they said $22! Extremely unprofessional. I called in to give them my address for my prescription to be shipped and the woman who answered, Amal, was beyond rude. It is especially shocking because a quick Google search reveals that Amal is apparently the president of Rolling Oaks Pharmacy, Inc. When she informed me there would be a $35.00 co-pay, I asked her to call my doctor's office because my Dr. said it should be $0 (and told me to ask the pharmacy to call my doctor's office if there was a co-pay) and she actually LAUGHED and told me that no matter what I would not get this prescription without paying the $35.00. Taken aback, I told her I have no problem with paying the $35.00, but that I was just letting her know what the doctor's office told me to say in case the pharmacy told me I had to pay something. She then repeated herself, saying I needed to pay, and very rudely said "I have a daughter your age and you are yelling at me?!" (so unprofessional to use information you got in a client's file to attempt to belittle a client) to which I responded "I am just letting you know what the doctor's office told me to say if you guys said there will be a co-pay". She then said she would call my doctor but then repeated, "there is no way you will get this medication without paying". I again informed her I had no problem paying but that the reason I even went with this pharmacy in the first place was because my doctor had promised me there would be a $0 out of pocket cost. She scoffed and repeated herself again. She repeatedly cut me off, said that the doctor does not run insurance and that they would not know, so I would need to listen to her. She then asked me if I was going to pay. I asked her again to call my doctor because that is what my doctor told me to do. She then rudely asked me "are you done?", which I could not believe. Maybe she was having a bad day but there is truly no excuse for treating your customers like that. I then asked for her name, and she responded "Amal, and there is no one here that you can complain to". I actually couldn't believe it. I hadn't even voiced my frustration at that point and told her I never said anything about complaining, I simply wanted to know her name. She then AGAIN asked me if I was going to give her my credit card information, and when I repeated myself about calling the doctor she asked if there was anything else she could help me with and promptly HUNG UP while I was in the middle of speaking. My doctor's office was surprised and apologetic for Rolling Oaks' unprofessionalism. I'll be sure never to use them again and advise my doctor's office and friends to do the same. read more

Our daughter's dermatologist sent her prescription here instead of to CVS. When I went to pick up an oral antibiotic, they told me the cost was $25. I thought it was odd, since the medication is more than 40 yrs old and was generic, but I paid it. Today I called to refill the medication and inquired as to whether they had our correct insurance (we had met our out of pocket max for the year) and was told they would check when I arrived to pick it up. Upon arrival, I asked if they had our correct insurance on file, offering to show them my card, and I was dismissed. The employee returned and told me it was $25. I told her that was wrong and she replied that the pharmacist said the medication was non- formulary and that it was the "cash" price. Since it's Friday afternoon and I was in a hurry, I paid the $25. When I got home and checked Anthem's website, I learned that generic Bactrim DS was most certainly on formulary and was the lowest tier copay. I will have this prescription transferred to CVS. Despite their crappy customer service, they are at least honest. If they would have submitted the prescription to my insurance company, they would have learned that it was on formulary and that I was not responsible for any copay. I will not patronize a business that has deceptive business practices. read more

So disappointed with the customer service. Had to call multiple times to see if a two prescriptions were ready. When I was assured they would be ready, I showed up just to find they weren't. Was quoted one price within 5 minutes of me waiting for it, the price for each went up an exorbitant amount. I questioned it and was told "sorry, I didn't know the price." I have new insurance and after telling my husband the price he called the pharmacy just to have a young lady there completely lie to him. She said they I was offered a generic brand. There is not a generic brand for either prescription. This was confirmed when the prescription was written at the dermatologists office. They really need to train their staff.
